Julian Assange is currently living at the Ecuadorianembassy in London in order to avoid being extradited to Sweden, wheres he facing rape charges.

The Wikileaks founder, however, has a defender in none other than Pamela Anderson, who believes Assanges contention thathes innocent and the rape charges are simply a ruse to ultimately make him vulnerable to prosecution over leaking classified documents.

In an interview with the RT NetworkGoing Underground, the former Baywatch star says that not only will she defend Assange, but will also use her influence to help other men who have been wrongfully accused of sexual assault.

Sweden has these very progressive laws against sexual crimes. Its almost too progressive, its almost paralyzing, she says. Im going to actually start campaigning for men who have been victims of being accused of rape when they havent actually done anything.

She adds: We all of course gravitate towards vulnerable people and we consider that to be women and children first and foremost, which is important of course, but theres also a lot of men who are in a vulnerable situation and politically bullied.

During the interview, she also asserted her belief in Assanges innocence.I think Sweden doesnt really know what to do, she says. When you read the actual case, and you read everything about it, theres no crime thats been committed.
