Any movie involving a character from the Avengers always incites excitement in most of us and this time our favorite sorcerer Doctor Strange is up for that. He will be seen next in his second solo movie inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
The first DoctorStrange released almost four years back in 2016 and Benedict Cumberbatch did a splendid job as he always does. So, what is this Multiverse, and whats more about the movie? Lets find out.

Marvel Studios unveiled their cinematic calendar for the upcoming movies in the MCU at the San Diego Comic-Con in April 2019 whereDoctor Strange 2was announced.

However, as of now, the Coronavirus pandemic has juggled all the scheduled movie dates. Meant to release phase 4 of the MCU calendar, the release date now stands on March 25, 2022, which was earlier set on May 7, 2021. The push comes after Spider-Mans third stand-alone film in the MCU was pushed back to July 2021.
The March 25 date stands only as a tentative date, we hope it doesnt stretch any further than this.
Hardcore Marvel fans would already know this but for the uninformed, the multiverse is the existence of multiple parallel universes with a slight difference or a rather radical one. There have been many instances in the comics where identical superheroes have come together in one of the universes. The first time the concept was introduced in a movie was inSpider-Man: Far From Home.
It is quite obvious that Benedict Cumberbatch will reprise his role as Doctor Strange with his sidekick Wong played by Benedict Wong. Interestingly, Scarlett Witch was announced to feature inDoctor Strangeat the Comic-Con 2019, which will be played by Elizabeth Oslen.
The rest of the cast is yet to be officially confirmed.
