Ron Paul manages to tick off women for something he didn’t say

NEW YORK, NY In todays taken out of context news, Ron Paul is ticking off some working women.

The headlines read Ron Paul Says Women Should Quit Their Jobs and Homeschool Their Kids.

OK, thats not what he said.

The former Congressman was on MSNBCs Morning Joe Friday to talk about his new book The School Revolution which details his support for home schooling.

Paul said, My whole curriculum and everything I talk about is based on the freedom philosophy, which is what Ive been talking about for 30 years.

But its not the curriculum thats got people fired up.

BBCs Katy Kay brought up a good point since its women who mainly homeschool their kids. She said, Im concerned about advocating homeschooling on this level when women are having such a hard time already staying in the workforce.

Paul: Of course, those are the problems created by what Im trying to correct because they have to be in the workforce to have to work and not take care of kids because of the system that we have because its survival

Kay: I think they want to.

Paul: Youre absolutely right, there is a choice.
