Is there a pre-tribulation rapture? If so, where do we find it in scripture? If not, why not? How do you explain your view? Know what you believe and be able to explain what you believe. There are 4 main views on interpreting the book of Revelation. Do you know the other 3? Truth is easy to defend. I (Pastor Walker) will be the first to say I don #39;t have all the answers but through prayer and study the Lord will reveal what He wants us to know. Join me on a journey through the book of Revelation. Next week we will start verse 1. We need to recognize our prejudice when interpreting Bible verses. Why do we believe what we believe? This sermon is dealing with the prejudice we all bring to the table when interpreting scripture. About 15 minutes at the beginning of this sermon did not record due to technical difficulties. Here are the notes for the first 15 minutes: If you open a book and read a paragraph from the middle or end of the book you probably won #39;t understand the paragraph unless you read the rest of the book. It is important we read and study scripture, if not, how can we expect to read a few verses and understand the meaning.
