How to use

3 simple steps...

Ensure your writing is clear and legible.

Sign the consent form. Signatures are required in order to process your DNA samples.

Return the forms with your DNA samples.

Ensure payment is enclosed.

2. Collect the DNA sampleSwab. There are 2 mouth swabs for each test particpant. To obtain the required DNA samples, rub the cotton end of the swab inside the left cheek firmly at least 20 times. Repeat with the second swab on the inside of the left cheek.For guidance, see the video at: https://youtu.be/CTUFtkeGe1k

Air Dry. Both mouth swabs by rapidly flicking through the air for at least 15 seconds. Do not handle the cotton end, this will cause contamination of your DNA samples.

Seal. Place the swabs into the relevant test particpants sample envelope. Ensure all details are completed on the sample envelope and secure the 2 swabs by sealing the flap.

3. Mail back your DNA samplesPlace the sample envelopes, completed forms and payment into the return envelope supplied (no postage required). Seal the return envelope with the security seal provided.

Your DNA Test results will be sent to you within 3-5 working days from the date the laboratory receives the samples.

IMPORTANT. It may be a criminal offence under the Humun Tissue Act 2004, to have bodily material with the intention to analyse human DNA in the material and use the result for certain purposes without qualifying content.
