W&W Wrap Up the Year with Highly Anticipated New Single “Gold” – Your EDM

2020 may have sucked, but the rave didnt stop for W&W. The venerable Dutch duo kept the party going with a steady stream of releases under both their main project and their NWYR alias. They wrap up the year with another main stage ready single in Gold. Gold combines W&Ws penchant for old school rave vibes with a slick psy-trance beat and a catchy vocal line.

Gold immediately starts out with a glorious piano melody, it definitely recalls EDMs nascent era with some Blue vibes. The drop is where past meets present as a hypnotic psy-trance beat accompanies the chopped vocals. After that we get the melodic synths that only W&W can bring you. Theres also an epic synth buildup before the final drop. Theres no doubt Ward & Willem had the true Rave Culture fans in mind with this one. It was so good to connect with the Rave family again. Being on stage and seeing all those happy faces in the crowd made us realize that we stand together and that rave is life. Gold is a track that we have been working on for quite some time and we couldnt be any more proud of the result. Great to end 2020 with this one!
