The Oklahoma State Cowboys (8-7, 1-3 Big 12) and No. 1 Baylor Bears (15-1, 3-1) clash in a Big 12 showdown Saturday at 5 p.m. ET at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas. Below, we look at the Oklahoma State vs. Baylor odds and linesand make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.

Oklahoma State has dropped two straight games and six of its last eight. And this game in Waco closes out a beat of a meat-grinder travel week for the Cowboys. OSU lost at West Virginia Tuesday and Texas Tech Thursday. The Cowboys shot 36.0% over those twin setbacks; they have shot just 36.4% over their last five games.

The Bears are coming off their first loss of the season. Baylor lost to Texas Tech in a 65-62 battle on Tuesday. The 62 points points scored by BU marked just the second game this season the Big 12s second-leading offense (81.5 points per game) had been held under 65 points.

Baylor 80, Oklahoma State 65

Baylor is a slight lean against the number, but PASS on the big outright tag.

The road team is 14-3-2 ATS in the last 19 meetings between the Cowboys and Bears. And the OSU side might be a lot more palatable had Baylor not lost on Tuesday. But the Cowboys are 0-5 ATS in their last five road games and have had a hard week of traveling.

Look for the Bears to come out strong in this one. Baylor should be able to leverage the extra Oklahoma State turnover or two to get into three-possession territory by halftime. The overall number to reach here is a tall order, but the Bears have the offensive edge in spades and their defense is suffocating.

There is room for an OSU back-door cover, but the overall slight lean is on BAYLOR -13.5 (-115).

The Over is 7-1 in BUs last eight games following a straight-up loss, and its 5-1-1 in the Bears last seven games overall.

The overall pace for this one should be about fastest-third. Look for the Bears to pile up some runs and for OSU to get enough garbage-time, no-foul, speed buckets to give this game a better edge on the Over.
