SpaceX is finally set to launch its Crew-3 mission this week, after being delayed several times.

It will be the third operationalNasacommercial crew flight of aCrew Dragonspacecraft, which will be powered by a Falcon 9 rocket, and the fourth crewed flight of SpaceXs commercial union with Nasa.

It was originally scheduled to launch on 31 October, but has experienced a number of weather delays.

There was also another delay due to a minor medical issue with a crew member.

Here is everything you need to know about the launch, including how to watch it live.

Nasa says the launch now is now targeted for no earlier than 9.03pm EST on Wednesday 10 November.

That means the launch window opens at 2.03am on Thursday 11 November here in the UK.

There will be a back-up opportunity available on Thursday 11 November 11 at 8.40pm EST, which is 1.40am on Friday 12 November in the UK.

The launch will take place from Launch Complex 39A at Nasas Kennedy Space Centre in Florida.

You will be able to stream the launch live on the SpaceX website.

There will also be a live stream on its YouTube channel, and those with Nasa TV can watch it there.

SpaceX says its stream will go live about four hours before launch.

The Crew-3 flight will carry three Nasa astronautsand one European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut to the International Space Station for a six-month science mission.

Those astronauts are mission commander Raja Chari,pilot Tom Marshburn, mission specialistKayla Barron and the ESAs Matthias Maurer, who will also serve as a mission specialist.

The launch follows a successful return of the agencys SpaceX Crew-2 mission.
