The bounty from the islands three-acre organic orchard, farm and surrounding waters (everything from passionfruit to edible flowers and, of course, fresh seafood) is presented at Guanas two restaurants, one on the terrace of the hilltop clubhouse, the other a beach bar on the sands of White Bay. Breakfast, a continental buffet with hot items by request, is served at the clubhouse, as is dinner. You can have lunch here, too, but youll likely want to request it on White Bay, a winsome strip thats truly the stuff of Caribbean fantasies.

Across the board the cuisine is superb, a testament to the fertility of the land and the creativity of the chef. Expect dishes such as pancetta with a tamarind glaze, flame-grilled lobster-sized shrimp, and the superb local specialty casserole, corn pie. Wine with lunch and dinner is included, and theres an honesty bar for other alcohol. Socialising is encouraged (guests are seated together at communal tables) but private tables can be requested, and in-room dining is available for an extra charge.
