I made this post in response to a Mormon claim that early Christians believed in Theosis like Mormons do, so therefore the claim was made that Mormonism is TRUE and RESTORED Christianity.
Mormon Exaltation, Theosis, Apotheosis and INTENTIONAL MORMON DECIET: by Damon Whitsell
I took from the post the Orthodoxwiki article portions that show Mormons DO NOT believe in Theosis,,,,,,,, rather Henotheism. and LUCIFERIAN APOTHEOSIS. The article below show that Apotheosis (Become God) is an age old Luciferian Doctrine and LIE.
=================================================
http://orthodoxwiki.org/Theosis
Theosis
(deification, divinization) is the process of a worshiper becoming free of hamrta (missing the mark), being united with God, beginning in this life and later consummated in bodily resurrection. For Orthodox Christians, Thsis (see 2 Pet. 1:4) is salvation.
Thsis assumes that humans from the beginning are made to share in the Life or Nature of the all-holy Trinity. Therefore, an infant or an adult worshiper is saved from the state of unholiness (hamarta which is not to be confused with hamrtma sin) for participation in the Life (z, not simply bos) of the Trinity which is everlasting.
This is not to be confused with the heretical (apotheosis) (1) Deification in Gods Essence, which is imparticipable. (1) Apotheosis (from Greek to deify), deification or divinization is the glorification of an individual to a divine level.
==========================================================
Deification in MORMONISM
The doctrine of theosis or deification in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints differs significantly from the theosis of Orthodox Christianity. In Mormonism it is usually referred to as exaltation or eternal life. While the primary focus of Mormonism is on the atonement of Jesus Christ, the reason for the atonement is exaltation which goes beyond mere salvation. All men will be saved from sin and death, but only those who are sufficiently obedient and accept the atonement of Jesus Christ before the judgment will be exalted. One popular Mormon quote, coined by the early Mormon disciple Lorenzo Snow in 1837, is As man now is, God once was; As God now is, man may be.[2] The teaching was taught first by Joseph Smith while pointing to John 5:19 of the New Testament, God himself, the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth, the same as Jesus Christ himself did. (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pp. 345-46).
Some Mormons also suggest that discussions of theosis by early Church Fathers show an early belief in the Mormon concept of deification, although they disagree with much of the other theology of the same Church fathers, most notably the doctrine of the Trinity.
The Mormons belief differs with the Orthodox belief in deification because the Latter-Day Saints believe that the core being of each individual, the intelligence which existed before becoming a spirit son or daughter, is uncreated or eternal. Orthodox deification always acknowledges a timeless Creator versus a finite creature who has been glorified by the grace of God. The Mormons are clear promoters of henotheism (2), and the Church Fathers have absolutely no commonality with their view.Theosis in eastern orthodox and the early church fathers view was, salvation from unholiness by participation in the life of God. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theosis
(2) Henotheism (Greek heis theos one god) is a term coined by Max Mller, to mean devotion to a single god while accepting the existence or possible existence of other deities.[1]
=========================================================
As we see from this ORTHODOXwiki reference, Mormon exaltation is not Christian Theosis but rather Apotheosis and Henotheism. Christian Theosis has to do with becoming more God like, NOT becoming God.
Theosis in the Eastern Orthodox and the protestant sense means to be sanctified, set apart and becoming holy. The protestant form of Theosis is expressed by saying that as Christians, we are saved by grace through faith, FROM BOTH the penalty of sin, and the power of sin. We simply do not have to be a slave to sin any longer and through adoption as sons, we may partake in the nature of God if we walk in the Spirit. This does not mean however that we become like God ontologically or in position. In contrast, when Jesus says he and His Father are ONE, he is saying he and the father are ONE BEING.

Luciferianism is the product of religious engineering, which sociologist William Sims Bainbridge defines as the conscious, systematic, skilled creation of a new religion (New Religions, Science, and Secularization, no pagination). In actuality, this is a tradition that even precedes Bainbridge. It has been the practice of Freemasonry for years. It was also the practice of Masonrys religious and philosophical progenitors, the ancient pagan Mystery cults. The inner doctrines of the Mesopotamian secret societies provided the theological foundations for the Christian and Judaic heresies, Kabbalism and Gnosticism. All modern Luciferian philosophy finds scientific legitimacy in the Gnostic myth of Darwinism. As evolutionary thought was popularized, variants of Luciferianism were popularized along with it (particularly in the form of secular humanism, which shall be examined shortly). A historical corollary of this popularization has been the rise of several cults and mass movements, exemplified by the various mystical sects and gurus of the sixties counterculture. The metastasis of Luciferian thinking continues to this very day.Luciferianism represents a radical revaluation of humanitys ageless adversary: Satan. It is the ultimate inversion of good and evil. The formula for this inversion is reflected by the narrative paradigm of the Gnostic Hypostasis myth. As opposed to the original Biblical version, the Gnostic account represents a revaluation of the Hebraic story of the first mans temptation, the desire of mere men to be as gods by partaking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Raschke 26). Carl Raschke elaborates:
Luciferianism constitutes the nucleus of the ruling class religion. While there are definitely political and economic rationales for elite criminality, Luciferianism can account for the longevity of many of the oligarchs projects. Many of the longest and most brutal human endeavors have been underpinned by some form of religious zealotry. The Crusades testify to this historical fact. Likewise, the power elites ongoing campaign to establish a socialist totalitarian global government has Luciferianism to thank for both its longevity and frequently violent character. In the mind of the modern oligarch, Luciferianism provides religious legitimacy for otherwise morally questionable plans.
In The Hypostasis of the Archons, an Egyptian Gnostic document, we read how the traditional story of mans disobedience toward God is reinterpreted as a universal conflict between knowledge (gnosis) and the dark powers (exousia) of the world, which bind the human soul in ignorance. The Hypostasis describes man as a stepchild of Sophia (Wisdom) created according to the model of aion, the imperishable realm of eternity.
On the other hand, it is neither God the Imperishable nor Sophia who actually is responsible in the making of man. On the contrary, the task is undertaken by the archons, the demonic powers who, because of their weakness, entrap man in a material body and thus cut him off from his blessed origin. They place him in paradise and enjoin him against eating of the tree of knowledge. The prohibition, however, is viewed by the author of the text not as a holy command but as a malignant effort on the part of the inferior spirits to prevent Adam from having true communion with the High God, from gaining authentic gnosis. (26)
According to this bowdlerization, Adam is consistently contacted by the High God in hopes of reinitiating mans quest for gnosis (26). The archons intervene and create Eve to distract Adam from the pursuit of gnosis (26-27). However, this Gnostic Eve is actually a sort of undercover agent for the High God, who is charged with divulging to Adam the truth that has been withheld from him (27). The archons manage to sabotage this covert operation by facilitating sexual intercourse between Adam and Eve, an act that Gnostics contend was designed to defile the womans spiritual nature (27). At this juncture, the Hypostasis reintroduces a familiar antagonist from the original Genesis account:
But now the principle of feminine wisdom reappears in the form of the serpent, called the Instructor, who tells the mortal pair to defy the prohibition of the archons and eat of the tree of knowledge. (27)
The serpent successfully entices Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, but the bodily defilement of the woman prevents man from understanding the true motive underpinning the act (27). Thus, humanity is fettered by the archons curse, suggesting that the orthodox theological view of the violation of the command as sin must be regarded anew as the mindless failure to commit the act rightly in the first place (27). In this revisionist context, the serpent is no longer Satan, but is an incognito savior instead (27). Meanwhile, Gods role as benevolent Heavenly Father is vilified:
The God of Genesis, who comes to reprimand Adam and Eve after their transgression, is rudely caricatured in this tale as the Arrogant archon who opposes the will of the authentic heavenly father. (27)
Of course, within this Gnostic narrative, God incarnate is equally belittled. Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, is reduced to little more than a forerunner of the coming Gnostic adept. According to the Gnostic mythology, Jesus was but a mere type of this perfect man (27). He came as a teacher and an exemplar, to show others the path to illumination (27-28). The true messiah has yet to come. Equally, the serpent is only a precursor to this messiah. He only initiates mans journey towards gnosis. The developmental voyage must be further facilitated by the serpents predecessor, the Gnostic Christ. The Hypostasis provides the paradigmatic template for all Luciferian mythologies.
Like the Hypostasis, the binary opposition of Luciferian mythology caricatures Jehovah as an oppressive tyrant. He becomes the archon of arrogance, the embodiment of ignorance and religious superstition. Satan, who retains his heavenly title of Lucifer, is the liberator of humanity. Masonry, which acts as the contemporary retainer for the ancient Mystery religion, reconceptualizes Satan in a similar fashion. In Morals and Dogma, 33rd degree Freemason Albert Pike candidly exalts the fallen angel:
LUCIFER, the Light-bearer! Strange and mysterious name to give to the Spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the Son of the Morning! Is it he who bears the Light, and with its splendors intolerable blinds feeble, sensual, or selfish Souls? Doubt it not. (321)
He makes man aware of his own innate divinity and promises to unlock the god within us all. This theme of apotheosis underpinned both Gnosticism and the pagan Mystery religions. While Gnosticisms origins with the Ancient Mystery cults remains a source of contention amongst scholars, its promises of liberation from humanitys material side is strongly akin to the old pagan Mysterys variety of psychic therapy (28). In addition, the Ancient Mystery religion promised the:
opportunity to erase the curse of mortality by direct encounter with the patron deity, or in many instances by actually undergoing an apotheosis, a transfiguration of human into divine (28).
Like some varieties of Satanism, Luciferianism does not depict the devil as a literal metaphysical entity. Lucifer only symbolizes the cognitive powers of man. He is the embodiment of science and reason. It is the Luciferians religious conviction that these two facilitative forces will dethrone God and apotheosize man. It comes as little surprise that the radicals of the early revolutionary faith celebrated the arrival of Darwinism. Evolutionary theory was the edifying science of Promethean zealotry and the new secular religion of the scientific dictatorship. According to Masonic scholar Wilmshurst, the completion of human evolution involves man becoming a god-like being and unifying his consciousness with the Omniscient (94).
During the Enlightenment, Luciferianism was disseminated on the popular level as secular humanism. All of the governing precepts of Luciferianism are encompassed by secular humanism. This is made evident by the philosophys rejection of theistic morality and enthronement of man as his own absolute moral authority. While Luciferianism has no sacred texts, Humanist Manifesto I and II succinctly delineate its central tenets. Whittaker Chambers, former member of the communist underground in America, eloquently summarizes this truth:
Humanism is not new. It is, in fact, mans second oldest faith. Its promise was whispered in the first days of Creation under the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil: Ye shall be as gods. (Qutd. in Baker 206)
Transhumanism offers an updated, hi-tech variety of Luciferianism. The appellation Transhumanism was coined by evolutionary biologist Julian Huxley (Transhumanism, Wikipedia: The Free Encyclopedia, no pagination). Huxley defined the transhuman condition as man remaining man, but transcending himself, by realizing new possibilities of and for his human nature (no pagination). However, by 1990, Dr. Max More would radically redefine Transhumanism as follows:
Transhumanism is a class of philosophies that seek to guide us towards a posthuman condition. Transhumanism shares many elements of humanism, including a respect for reason and science, a commitment to progress, and a valuing of human (or transhuman) existence in this life Transhumanism differs from humanism in recognizing and anticipating the radical alterations in the nature and possibilities of our lives resulting from various sciences and technologies (No pagination)
Transhumanism advocates the use of nanotechnology, biotechnology, cognitive science, and information technology to propel humanity into a posthuman condition. Once he has arrived at this condition, man will cease to be man. He will become a machine, immune to death and all the other weaknesses intrinsic to his former human condition. The ultimate objective is to become a god. Transhumanism is closely aligned with the cult of artificial intelligence. In the very influential book The Age of Spiritual Machines, AI high priest Ray Kurzweil asserts that technological immortality could be achieved through magnetic resonance imaging or some technique of reading and replicating the human brains neural structure within a computer (Technological Immortality, no pagination). Through the merger of computers and humans, Kurzweil believes that man will become god-like spirits inhabiting cyberspace as well as the material universe (no pagination).
Following the Biblical revisionist tradition of the Gnostic Hypostasis myth, Transhumanists invert the roles of God and Satan. In an essay entitled In Praise of the Devil, Transhumanist ideologue Max More depicts Lucifer as a heroic rebel against a tyrannical God:
The Devil-Luciferis a force for good (where I define good simply as that which I value, not wanting to imply any universal validity or necessity to the orientation). Lucifer means light-bringer and this should begin to clue us in to his symbolic importance. The story is that God threw Lucifer out of Heaven because Lucifer had started to question God and was spreading dissension among the angels. We must remember that this story is told from the point of view of the Godists (if I may coin a term) and not from that of the Luciferians (I will use this term to distinguish us from the official Satanists with whom I have fundamental differences). The truth may just as easily be that Lucifer resigned from heaven. (No pagination)
According to More, Lucifer probably exiled himself out of moral outrage towards the oppressive Jehovah:
God, being the well-documented sadist that he is, no doubt wanted to keep Lucifer around so that he could punish him and try to get him back under his (Gods) power. Probably what really happened was that Lucifer came to hate Gods kingdom, his sadism, his demand for slavish conformity and obedience, his psychotic rage at any display of independent thinking and behavior. Lucifer realized that he could never fully think for himself and could certainly not act on his independent thinking so long as he was under Gods control. Therefore he left Heaven, that terrible spiritual-State ruled by the cosmic sadist Jehovah, and was accompanied by some of the angels who had had enough courage to question Gods authority and his value-perspective. (No pagination)
More proceeds to reiterate 33rd Degree Mason Albert Pikes depiction of Lucifer:
Lucifer is the embodiment of reason, of intelligence, of critical thought. He stands against the dogma of God and all other dogmas. He stands for the exploration of new ideas and new perspectives in the pursuit of truth. (No pagination)
Lucifer is even considered a patron saint by some Transhumanists (Transtopian Symbolism, no pagination). Transhumanism retains the paradigmatic character of Luciferianism, albeit in a futurist context. Worse still, Transhumanism is hardly some marginalized cult. Richard Hayes, executive director of the Center for Genetics and Society, elaborates:
Last June at Yale University, the World Transhumanist Association held its first national conference. The Transhumanists have chapters in more than 20 countries and advocate the breeding of genetically enriched forms of post-human beings. Other advocates of the new techno-eugenics, such as Princeton University professor Lee Silver, predict that by the end of this century, All aspects of the economy, the media, the entertainment industry, and the knowledge industry [will be] controlled by members of the GenRich class. . .Naturals [will] work as low-paid service providers or as laborers. . . (No pagination) I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (Isaiah 14:13-14)
With a growing body of academic luminaries and a techno-eugenical vision for the future, Transhumanism is carrying the banner of Luciferianism into the 21st century. Through genetic engineering and biotechnological augmentation of the physical body, Transhumanists are attempting to achieve the very same objective of their patron saint.
I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:
This declaration reflects the aspirations of the power elite as well. Whatever form the Luciferian religion assumes throughout the years, its goal remains the same: Apotheosis.

Let’s Turn Nauru Into Transtopia – blogspot.com
Posted: December 2, 2016 at 12:33 pm
Here's an off-the-wall idea that has some appeal to me ... as a long-time Transtopian fantasist and world traveler....
The desert island nation of Nauru needs money badly, and has a population of less than 15,000
There are problems with water supply, but they could surely be solved with some technical ingenuity.
The land area is about 8 square miles. But it could be expanded! Surely it's easier to extend an island with concrete platforms or anchored floating platforms of some other kind, than to seastead in the open ocean.
The country is a democracy. Currently it may not be possible to immigrate there except as a temporary tourist or business visitor. But I'd bet this could be made negotiable.
Suppose 15,000 adult transhumanists (along with some kids, one would assume) decided to emigrate to Nauru en masse over a 5-year period, on condition they could obtain full citizenship. Perhaps this could be negotiated with the Nauruan government.
Then after 5 years we would have a democracy in which transhumanists were the majority.
Isn't this the easiest way to create a transhumanist nation? With all the amazing future possibilities that that implies?
This would genuinely be of benefit to the residents of Nauru, which now has 90% unemployment. Unemployment would be reduced close to zero, and the economy would be tremendously enlarged. A win-win situation. Transhumanists would get freedom, and Nauruans would get a first-world economy.
Considerable infrastructure would need to be built. A deal would need to be struck with the government, in which, roughly,
To ensure employment of the relocated transhumanists, we would need to get a number of companies to agree to open Nauru offices. But this would likely be tractable, given the preference of firms to have offices in major tech centers. Living expenses in Nauru would be much lower than in, say, Silicon Valley, so expenses would be lower.
Tourism could become a major income stream, given the high density of interesting people which would make Nauru into a cultural mecca. Currently there is only one small beach on Nauru (which is said to be somewhat dirty), but creation of a beautiful artificial beach on the real ocean is not a huge technological feat.
It would also be a great place to experiment with aquaculture and vertical farming.
What say you? Let's do it!
P.S.
Other candidates for the tropical island Transtopia besides Nauru would be Tuvalu and Kiribati; but Kiribati's population is much larger, and Tuvalu is spread among many islands, and is also about to become underwater due to global warming. So Nauru would seem the number one option. Though, Tuvalu could be an interesting possibility also, especially if we offered to keep the island above water by building concrete platforms or some such (a big undertaking, but much easier than seasteading). This would obviously be a major selling point to the government.

Ouroboros
The Ouroboros (pronounced as Or-O-bOr-Os) is a snake, worm ('wyrm'), serpent, or dragon biting its own tail and/or devouring itself. Indeed, the name roughly translates as "devouring its tail" or "tail devourer". Alternate spellings include: oroborus, uroboros, and oureboros. [1] Ouroboros is associated with Alchemy, Gnosticism, and the ancient Greeks (who gave it its current name), though it appears in many other contexts and cultures as well. It is one of the archetypal symbols, and may be as old as human civilization itself. It symbolizes many things -- time, the continuity of life, immortality, infinity, eternity, perfection, completion, the cyclic nature of the universe, the self-sufficiency of nature, and the rebirth of the earth, to name but a few. The Ouroboros is the Universal Serpent which passes through all things -- "the One, the All." [2]
Jung described the Ouroboros as the "dragon that devours, fertilizes, begets, slays, and brings itself to life again. Being hermaphroditic, it is compounded of opposites and is at the same time their uniting symbol" (Ibid., p. 372). [3]
There are two primary types of Ouroboros: one which merely holds the tip of its tail between its jaws, and one which swallows it(self). The former is static. It describes a circle, and partakes of the symbolic meaning of the circle, which is perfect, eternal, and divides the universe into inside and outside. It is a magic barrier or circle of protection, and represents eternal life and perfection. The Ouroboros that swallows its tail is dynamic. It describes a spiral force, and partakes of the symbolic meaning of the spiral, which is cyclical, moving, changing, evolving. If we follow mentally the consequences of a serpent swallowing its tail, we see that in a magical sense it will reduce itself to a single point and vanish from the universe utterly. Hence the Ouroboros swallowing its tail represents the gateway between our universe and the absolute, or to put it more poetically, the Eye of God. [3]
The primary (Type I) Transtopian Ouroboros is of the latter, self-devouring kind. It represents a philosophy that is dynamic, evolving, and which will hopefully lead to a higher level of existence, perhaps even a state of eternal perfection (the domain of God, so to speak). Of course, if things go wrong we could also end up being erased from the universe, and vanish into the dark void of nothingness forever. Thus, the self-devouring Ouroboros represents our two most likely, diametrically opposed destinies.
The 'static', tail-biting (Type II) Ouroboros is the symbolic guardian of the preserved dead. For those in biostasis, the struggle is (temporarily) over. Like a magic circle, the cryogenic container they rest in shields them from the relentless onslaught of entropy. It is an island in the river of time. If and when the frozen will awaken, it will be into a state of perfection -- at least compared to the world they knew.
Biohazard
Originally an American sign, now international, that warns against biologically dangerous substances. Also associated with danger and death in general.
Ourohazard
Combined, the Biohazard and the Ouroboros symbolize the fact that those who want to achieve true immortality and godhood must sooner or later transcend their doomed biological shells, and become inorganic beings. Flesh is simply too fragile and limited for our purposes. In this context, the Biohazard symbolizes the difficult but necessary 'shedding of the flesh', and the Ouroboros the potentially infinite existence, knowledge, and power that will be our reward. The Ourohazard as portal to Transtopia, our future technological paradise.
The Ourohazard is also a warning, however; apart from being a path towards ascension, the technological Singularity could also be the end of the road for us, both as individuals and as a species. The ominous shape of the Biohazard, symbol of death and danger, looms large behind the Ouroboros, symbol of eternal life. Alternatively, one could say that combining the self-devouring, self-annihilating Ouroboros with the dreaded Biohazard has a strong synergistic effect, which makes the Ourohazard a somewhat cynical, nihilistic symbol. A harbinger of impending doom and the final triumph of chaos, entropy, and death. In this respect it is comparable to the symbolism of the skull. This is the dark side of Transhumanism; the Ourohazard as gateway to hell and oblivion.
The Ourohazard, with its inherent dualism, is the Singularity incarnate.
The biomechanical Ourohazard also represents the hybrid nature of Transtopianism. Just like the philosophy itself, it is made up out of seemingly unrelated or even contradictory elements, which, when put together, suddenly form a unique and logical whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. The pieces of the puzzle fall into place, and reveal the big(ger) picture.
Last but certainly not least, the Ourohazard is the fierce symbol of supreme self-liberation and enlightenment. Those who display it essentially say "Fuck you and the horse you rode in on!" to deathists, religious fanatics, bourgeois conformists, Luddites, conservatives, PC leftists, and all those other enemies of freedom, reason, and progress. From Truth to Transcendence -- one symbol says it all.
Fleur-de-Lys
The Fleur-de-Lys, which is French for 'Flower of the Lily', depicts a stylized lily or lotus flower (or, alternatively, an iris). The Fleur-de-lys is thought by many authorities to be a conventionalized form of the Annunciation Lily, symbolizing the Annunciation of the Savior. Due to its three 'petals', the Fleur-de-Lys has also been used to represent the Holy Trinity. In a secular sense, the symbol is linked to nobility in general, and French nobility in particular. Also, due to its aggressive spearhead / dagger-like shape, it is sometimes used by, and associated with, the military. Finally, the Fleur is said to signify perfection, light, and life. [4]
Wyrm-de-Lys
The Wyrm-de-Lys, a composition of 3 Fleurs overlaid by an Ouroboros, represents the aristocratic side of Transtopianism. It symbolizes the fact that this a thinking man's ideology, neither meant for nor appreciated by the ignorant, conformist masses. Those who understand and live according to the Principles are the world's true 'nobility', and worthy of godhood.
Tomoye
The Tomoye is a symbol from the Japanese Samurai heraldry and the ancient Japanese Shinto religion. The name translates into 'revolution of the universe'. The Tomoye somewhat resembles a stylized Triskelion, a Greek sign that's associated with progress and competition, and this Celtic symbol, which is associated with migrations (to the stars!) and independent movements.
Tomoyeserpent
The Tomoyeserpent, a fusion of the Ouroboros and the Tomoye, represents the radical nature of Transtopianism. This is a philosophia militans; a fighting philosophy. We are the tip of the sword, the shocktroops of the Singularity. The revolution of the universe begins with a revolution of the mind.

Transtopia
Trans: 1.Across; on the other side; beyond (2.Through. 3.Change; transfer ). Topia: from the Greek word 'topos', meaning 'place'. [6] Hence, Transtopia is the 'place beyond' (or 'beyondplace'). Beyond the tyranny of entropy; beyond the dictate of nature; beyond this plane of existence. It is the transhumanist utopia or heaven; the perfect, ideal place or state on the other side of the Singularity, where we can live forever under optimal conditions. The Singularity, in the symbolical sense, is a transdimensional portal between the mundane and the divine; between the realm of men and the realm of gods. All who want to reach Transtopia must pass through it.
Transtopians: those who embrace and (try to) live in accordance with the Transtopian Principles.
Transtopianism: the philosophy and movement that promotes transcendent self-actualization by means of reason, science, and technology.
Technocalypse
Michael Grosso, PhD, a professor of philosophy at Jersey City State College, coined the term "technocalypse" in his 1995 book The Millennium Myth, and defined it as the convergence of technology and the apocalyptic imagination. "Science and technology have begun to utterly transform human existence with such things as the atom bomb, space travel, cryonics, bioengineering, nanotechnology, virtual reality, and so on, developments full of apocalyptic overtones" (1995:261). He quotes from the book of Revelation stating that the promise of a "new heaven and new earth" (Rev.21:1) is the motivation of the millennial myth. Grosso points out that the millennium myth has both positive and negative aspects in that the old earth and heaven must be destroyed before the new ones can be built in its ashes. Technology offers the promise to remake all creation, including the human bodies that dwell within it. [8]
"[The Technocalypse is] cyberspace, nanotechnology, cryonics, futurism, the eschaton encoded in the now malleable protein chains of DNA, as well as the eventual transcendence of death." [9]

TRUTH, TECHNOLOGY, TRANSCENDENCE The first 3 Principles, and the very essence of Transtopianism.
EX MACHINA LIBERTAS (Technology will set you free) Only rationally applied technology can fundamentally improve the human condition. Without it, we would be pathetic animals. With it, there is no limit to what we can do, and become.
ERITIS SICUT DII (You shall be as gods) Transhumanism's tantalizing promise. The phrase is taken from Genesis 3:5, and is part of the fateful conversation between the Serpent and Eve. [And the Serpent spake:] "Scit enim Deus quod in quocumque die comederitis ex eo aperientur oculi vestri et eritis sicut dii scientes bonum et malum." (For God doth know, that in the day ye eat of [the forbidden fruit], then your eyes shall be opened: and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil).
NULLI CARNI PARCETUR (No flesh shall be spared) Soon we'll either be gods or extinct; either way, the flesh is finished. To quote Bart Kosko: "Biology is not destiny. It was never more than tendency. It was just nature's first quick and dirty way to compute with meat. Chips are destiny." The phrase is based upon a passage in the Gospel of Mark, Chapter 13, which describes the Apocalypse. Mar 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. [12]
POST NOS DILUVIUM (After us, the Deluge, or Aprs nous, le dluge in French) The popularity of the [French] phrase stems from its use by Madame de Pompadour, celebrated beauty and intimate of King Louis XV of France. The French Court at the time was famed for its lavish and wasteful extravagances. When Pompadour, whose philosophy was "Live for the minute - who cares what happens when we're gone?" was reproved for these excesses, she replied, "Apres nous, le deluge." [13] In the Transtopian context, the phrase urges people to seize the day, for there may be no tomorrow. After us...the technocalypse.

Lucifer
Hail Satan!
'Lucifer' is the Latin term originally used by the Romans to refer to the planet Venus when that planet was west of the sun and hence rose before the sun in the morning, thereby being the morning star. The word appears to have entered the religious lexicon when the Hebrew expression in Isaiah 14:12, 'HeYLeL BeN-ShaCHaR'. (meaning 'bright son of the morning/dawn', 'bright [and] morning star', 'glowing morning star', or 'shining one, son of the dawn'.) 2. was translated to 'Phosphorus' (the Greek word for Venus as the morning star) in the Septuagint, and then translated into 'Lucifer' in the Vulgate (from the Greek Septuagint).
Origenes Adamantius (185 CE - 254 CE), an important Christian scholar of the early Greek Church, and Augustine of Canterbury (d. May 26 604/605 CE), founder of the Christian Church in southern England, both interpreted the use of the term Lucifer as a reference to the Devil. The name Lucifer was applied to Satan by St. Jerome and then to the demon of sinful pride by Milton in Paradise Lost. Lucifer is the title and principal character of the epic poem by the Dutch playwrite, Vondel (who uses Lucifer in lieu of Satan), and a principal character in the mystery play by Imre Madach, The Tragedy of Man. Blake pictured Lucifer in his Illustrations to Dante. George Meredith's sonnet Lucifer in Starlight addresses the 'fiend' as Prince Lucifer. To Spenser in An Hymne of Heavenly Love, Lucifer is 'the brightest angel, even the Child of Light'. [10]
According to Extropian philosopher Max More, "Lucifer is the embodiment of reason, of intelligence, of critical thought. He stands against the dogma of God and all other dogmas. He stands for the exploration of new ideas and new perspectives in the pursuit of truth." [11] He is also the archetypal iconoclast, rebel, and adversary (the word 'Satan' is from a Hebrew word, 'Sathane', meaning adversary or culminiator; in original Jewish usage [see the book of Job], Satan is the adversary, not of God, but of mankind; i.e., the angel charged by God with the task of proving that mankind is an unworthy creation). [10] In the transtopian context, Lucifer represents ambition, rebellion, rational enlightenment, and the dark side of Transhumanism.
Chimaera
The Chimaera - or Chimera - was said to be made out of three different creatures: lion, goat and serpent. A savage beast, sprouting fire from its mouth, it devastated the land until it was killed by the hero Bellerophon, who flew over it riding his winged horse Pegasus. According to Homer, the Chimaera was "in the fore part a lion, in the hinder a serpent, and in the middle a goat". Hesiod says almost identical words, although he specifies that the creature had three heads. Both also say that it was capable of breathing fire. All authors describe the Chimaera as female, and that may be something related to her name, that in ancient Greek means 'young she-goat'. Despite this rather humble name, she was of divine origin. Her father was the giant Typhon and her mother the half-serpent Echidna. She had as brothers Cerberus (the hound of Hell), Hydra (the nine-headed water snake) and Orthrus (another multi-headed dog). [5]
In a more general and contemporary sense, the Chimaera represents the hybrid (a. An organism, organ, or part consisting of two or more tissues of different genetic composition, produced as a result of organ transplant, grafting, or genetic engineering. b. A substance, such as an antibody, created from the proteins or genes or two different species). [6] Also, the term is used to indicate that something (supposedly) is a "fanciful mental illusion or fabrication; a grotesque product of the imagination." [6] Transtopianism too can be seen as a hybrid (memetic complex, composite philosophy), fire-breathing (fierce, iconoclastic), and fanciful (our dreams of godhood and immortality may remain just that) 'monster', the grotesque product of someone's warped imagination. Hence, the Chimaera is one of its Patron Saints.
Ouroboros
Apart from (literally) being the binding factor in transtopian symbolism, the Ouroboros is also a Patron Saint. It this context it represents, among other things, (the quest for) immortality through self-renewal, and universal perfection. [For a more detailed description, see the Symbolism section]

LUCIFERIANISM: THE RELIGION OF APOTHEOSIS
Phillip D. Collins January 17, 2006 NewsWithViews.com
Luciferianism is the product of religious engineering, which sociologist William Sims Bainbridge defines as the conscious, systematic, skilled creation of a new religion ("New Religions, Science, and Secularization," no pagination). The metastasis of Luciferian thinking continues to this very day.
Luciferianism represents a radical revaluation of humanitys ageless adversary: Satan.
The Devil-Lucifer--is a force for good (where I define 'good' simply as that which I value, not wanting to imply any universal validity or necessity to the orientation). 'Lucifer' means 'light-bringer' and this should begin to clue us in to his symbolic importance.
God, being the well-documented sadist that he is, no doubt wanted to keep Lucifer around so that he could punish him and try to get him back under his (God's) power. Probably what really happened was that Lucifer came to hate God's kingdom, his sadism, his demand for slavish conformity and obedience, his psychotic rage at any display of independent thinking and behavior. Lucifer realized that he could never fully think for himself and could certainly not act on his independent thinking so long as he was under God's control. Therefore he left Heaven, that terrible spiritual-State ruled by the cosmic sadist Jehovah, and was accompanied by some of the angels who had had enough courage to question God's authority and his value-perspective.
The Transhumanists have chapters in more than 20 countries and advocate the breeding of "genetically enriched" forms of "post-human" beings. Other advocates of the new techno-eugenics, such as Princeton University professor Lee Silver, predict that by the end of this century, "All aspects of the economy, the media, the entertainment industry, and the knowledge industry [will be] controlled by members of the GenRich class. . .Naturals [will] work as low-paid service providers or as laborers. . ." (No pagination)

I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (Isaiah 14:13-14)
This declaration reflects the aspirations of the power elite as well. Whatever form the Luciferian religion assumes throughout the years, its goal remains the same: Apotheosis.

Global Sphere
The Singularity is a common matter of discussion in transhumanist circles. There is no clear definition, but usually the Singularity is meant as a future time when societal, scientific and economic change is so fast we cannot even imagine what will happen from our present perspective, and when humanity will become posthumanity. Another definition is used in the Extropians FAQ, where it denotes the singular time when technological development will be at its fastest. Of course, there are some who think the whole idea is just technocalyptic dreaming.

Ex machina libertas. Eritis sicut dii.
The Community of Enlightened Transtopia is a fledgling, socially progressive nation, notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape, compulsory military service, and complete absence of social welfare. The hard-working, democratic, devout population of 6 million Enlightened Transtopians are effectively ruled by a group of massive corporations, who run for political office and provide their well-off citizens with world-class goods and services. Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like.
The relatively small, pro-business, outspoken government prioritizes Spirituality, with Law & Order, Defense, and Education also on the agenda, while International Aid and Welfare aren't funded at all. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 8.9%.
The thriving Enlightened Transtopian economy, worth 437 billion Bytes a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Uranium Mining, Retail, and Arms Manufacturing. Average income is 72,914 Bytes, but there is a large disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 285,260 per year while the poor average 12,696, a ratio of 22.5 to 1.
The death penalty has been reintroduced, the automotive industry soaks up huge government handouts, the country's famous rainforests are being bulldozed by the mining industry, and loans are available for students from poor families. Crime, especially youth-related, is relatively low, thanks to a capable police force. Enlightened Transtopia's national animal is the Wolf, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.
Enlightened Transtopia is ranked 117,456th in the world and 13th in The World After The Flash for Most Average, scoring 27.79 on the Average Standardized Normality Scale.

L e S a i n t p a t r o n d e T r a n s h u m a n i s m .
Luciferianism: The Religion of Apotheosis – Conspiracy Archive

by Phillip D. Collins , Jan. 10th, 2006
The metastasis of Luciferian thinking continues to this very day.
Luciferianism represents a radical revaluation of humanitys ageless adversary: Satan. It is the ultimate inversion of good and evil. The formula for this inversion is reflected by the narrative paradigm of the Gnostic Hypostasis myth. As opposed to the original Biblical version, the Gnostic account represents a revaluation of the Hebraic story of the first mans temptation, the desire of mere men to be as gods by partaking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil' (Raschke 26). Carl Raschke elaborates:
Its promise was whispered in the first days of Creation under the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil: Ye shall be as gods.' (Qutd. in Baker 206)
The DevilLuciferis a force for good (where I define good simply as that which I value, not wanting to imply any universal validity or necessity to the orientation).
Other advocates of the new techno-eugenics, such as Princeton University professor Lee Silver, predict that by the end of this century, All aspects of the economy, the media, the entertainment industry, and the knowledge industry [will be] controlled by members of the GenRich class. . .Naturals [will] work as low-paid service providers or as laborers. . . (No pagination)
I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (Isaiah 14:13-14)
This declaration reflects the aspirations of the power elite as well. Whatever form the Luciferian religion assumes throughout the years, its goal remains the same: Apotheosis.
