Ron Paul planted in a Meth note book
Ron Paul, during his campaign for liberty he has been smeared, ridiculed and made fun of, just because Ron Paul represents Freedom REAL FREEDOM, and they did everything they can to shut his campaign down. This is one example, you say it is nothing, wrong it #39;s the little things like this that gets implanted in your brain and you never even know it. Subliminal message has been going on for many years and this just hits home for me because I dedicated so much time for Ron and it saddens me so much.

Inauguration 2013: Beyonce Excited To Sing The National Anthem | Home | LeAnn Rimes Opens Up In Interview

January 21, 2013 09:55 AM by Stephanie Gustafson

Kelly Clarkson may not always agree with President Obama, but shes still happy to take part in his second inauguration ceremony! Following a bit of 2012 election drama, theAmerican Idol alum and currentDuets star is putting aside her political differences and honoring Barack Obama with a performance of My Country Tis Of Thee.

She may consider herself a Republican at heart, but Kelly Clarkson is not one to refuse an invite to sing at the 2013 inauguration. While getting ready for the big performance last night, Kelly retweeted pal Ashley Arrisons Instagram picture of the seating at the Capitol, adding the sarcastic quip, At least its not overwhelming.

Kellys used to big audiences, so were sure shell perform well under pressure. But what were really wondering is how the singer will handle the negative feedback from fans and foes alike. Kelly attracted a lot of attention last year when she tweeted her support for then presidential candidate Ron Paul: If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 hes got my vote. Too bad he probably wont.

Her prediction about Ron Pauls failure to win the nomination proved correct, but what Kelly could not have predicted was how much this tweet would anger even the most devoted of her fans. She later explained the reasoning behind her Ron Paul support toRolling Stone. He doesnt BS around anything. I was like, This dude is refreshing. All I did was tweet what I thought, and people went crazy!

Following the backlash, Kelly Clarkson issued an apology and brief explanation surrounding her political beliefs. I like Ron Paul because he believes in less government and letting the people (all of us) make the decisions and mold our country. That is all. Out of all of the Republican nominees, hes my favorite.

Despite her political stance, Kelly still thinks Barack Obama is a great guy, and is happy to help him celebrate during the 2013 inauguration ceremony!

Revealed: An Inside Look at Ron Paul's Portfolio

Posted: at 7:46 pm

Ron Paul is alot like licorice; not everyone likes him, but the ones who do really like him.

The former Texas congressman built his reputation and loyal following by taking strong positions on a number of controversialissues .

The first is his desire toaudit and eliminate the Federal Reserve. Paul is a free-market capitalist and doesn't believe a centrally controlled, non-elected entity should have the ability to dictate interest rates and change the trajectory of theeconomy .

Paul has also expressed deep concerns about the U.S. dollar, which is not backed by any physicalasset , and has been steadily devaluing against other currencies since 2001 under growing domestic trade deficits.

Finally, Paul is also worried about the possibility of massiveinflation . Although the U.S. Bureau of Labor statistics' Consumer PriceIndex has yet to show any serious signals of inflation, with central banks around the world fully committed to monetary stimulation, thedevaluation of fiatcurrency is a very real consideration for many investors.

But unlike many politicians simply tickling populist fancy, after taking a look at Paul's portfolio, it's obvious the manputs hismoney where his mouth is.

The typical congressional portfolio might have 10% incash , 10% inbonds , 20% inreal estate and 60% instocks orstock funds , according to theWall Street Journal.

But Paul has taken a radically different approach.

His 21% allocation to real estate looks pretty normal. So does his 14% allocation in cash. But where he parts ways with his congressional brethren is the remaining 64% of his portfolio, which is invested in gold- and silver-mining stocks. Adding to hiscontrarian style, his 1% allocation to stocks funds are invested in "short" funds, a bet against future stock gains.

Candidate Ron Paul lost in Internet translation

Posted: January 21, 2013 at 12:43 pm

The disconnection between the Internet world and the outside world has never been so plainly demonstrated than in the political candidacy of Rep. Ron Paul of Texas - he's a Pennsylvania native, by the way. No candidate of either major party has come close to accomplishing what Paul and his faithful have managed in the online world. They have set records for fund-raising, swung opinion polls in Paul's favor and shown him to be anything but a marginal candidate, which is how traditional media has treated him.

Paul is far more Libertarian than Republican. There's a lot to like about him, if you put any stock in libertarian causes. If you don't, pick from column A or column B from the other candidates available in the race, if you feel you must. Safe is safe. Status quo is status quo.

Paul is a politician who targets government. His nickname is "Dr. No," and he earned it both because he is a medical doctor and because it's been his modus operandi, for the most part, to vote against any legislation that does not have precise, coherent grounding in the U.S. Constitution.

We're bent under the weight of so much government gibberish, so much regulation and rulership that has absolutely nothing to do with the whys and wherefores of this country's birth that it is refreshing to find one rare voice that recognizes the fact and has the will to say he'd actually try to do something about it, were he in a position to do so.

Paul is unmistakably the Internet's darling. Do your own research. See what he and his backers have done.

Paul's writings, his opinions, his political motif, is based primarily on the idea that individuals - not governments, not aggregations of entities (women, men, seniors, blacks, Hispanics, Catholics, Baptists) - are the most important thing in this country, and they are to be protected.

Abolition of the Internal Revenue Service; abolition of the Federal Reserve; abolition of a whole host of federal-government agencies, like the Department of Education and the Environmental Protection Agency; strict enforcement of private-property laws; and a host of other individual-centric ideas are the campaign themes that Paul puts forward.

Does he have a chance? The Chicago Tribune once famously stated "Dewey beats Truman" in a massive page-one headline, as a victorious, grinning Truman held up a copy of perhaps the most famous early bad call in election history - except maybe Florida 2000 - but the reality is that the Internet is not reality.

Yes, the money Paul has raised is real. The support that he has garnered is real. He deserves far more real-world and mainstream attention than he's gotten, if we're ever going to get to the point of bringing government back under control of the people rather than continually expanding government to control us. We've let it happen for decades; complacency, which politicians and those in power rely upon to assure their continued ability to retain that power, is the gravest threat to freedom there is.

Is there hope? Yes. The Internet is still very new in the world. It's only been in general use for about a decade. Its power grows every day. Its ability to extend its sway beyond computer screens and into the world grows every day. Ron Paul has demonstrated, better than any politician who has come before, how a candidate of little means and pushing ideas that will scare the bejabbers out of most people can get his message out and find support for that message by turning to the wild online frontier.

Reince Priebus, RNC Strike Challenger Mark Willis With Ron Paul Write-in Candidacy

Posted: January 20, 2013 at 5:44 am

The battle within the Republican Party continues as Maine National Committeeman Mark Willis has officially entered the race for Republican National Committee chair. Since the announcement, as reported by Undercover Porcupine in Maine National Committeeman Willis Running For RNC Chair, the race has heated up.

Willis, a veteran of the United States Army who was endorsed by the Ron Paul campaign, successfully defeated Hayes Gahagan at the Maine State Republican Convention last May to become National Committeeman.

Now the race heats up as Reince Priebus and his supporters aim to maintain control, as the race begins to look more and more like the tumultuous 2012 Republican presidential primary. Like former Congressman Ron Paul, National Committeeman Mark Willis is considered a longshot with little chance defeating Priebus. It would appear, that like former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, the current Chair will win re-election.So why the battle?

In an article from the DailyCaller titled Drama in RNC election as Ron Paul supporter makes run for chairman, various members of the Republican National Committee have questioned Mark Willis on an issue from the general election. As Republicans cry about rehashing the past, California National Committeeman Shawn Steel does just that in pointing out Willis was a write-in candidate for Vice President in Maine, on a ticket with former Congressman Paul.

Evidently, National Committeeman Steel and others at the RNC have not done their research into Maine law. This comes as little surprise as the RNC was incapable of even doing research into their own bylaws under Reince Priebus.

In a letter to members of the RNC, National Committeeman Steel said this:

I learned that Mark Willis was listed as an official and declared write-in candidate on the state of Maines 2012 general [September] election ballot serving as Ron Pauls Vice Presidential running mate and standing against the Republican Presidential nominee and Vice-Presidential running mate. The following link will take you the State of Maine Secretary of States Office listing of declared write-in candidates for the November 2012 ballot. Mark Willis is the second name on the list, listed as Ron Pauls running mate. In the Date Filed column it shows that the required forms were filed with the Maine Secretary of State on September 24, 2012 almost a full month after the Republican National Convention where we officially nominated Gov. Romney and Rep. Ryan.

Now we know National Committeeman Steel and the Republican National Committee can read. But can they research? Here is some simple detective work.

In the State of Maine, the law states that four presidential electors must nominate a ticket for it to become official. This means that four presidential electors must file paperwork with the State, confirming their consent to the ticket, in order for it to become valid for the general election. The filing paperwork, found here, does not, however, require candidate consent. This means that while the Ron Paul/Mark Willis write-in ticket was valid in Maine, it was entered in by four presidential electors without consent from former Congressman Paul or National Committeeman Willis.

This is exactly what the Maine National Committeeman told the DailyCaller, when he stated he had nothing to do with it.

Maine Ron Paul supporter fears he's being smeared

Posted: at 5:44 am

Yesterday at 10:50 PM Mark Willis says his own party's leaders are wrongly questioning his eligibility on the national committee.

By Kevin Miller kmiller@mainetoday.com Washington Bureau Chief

WASHINGTON A Maine representative to the Republican National Committee is accusing national party leaders of running a smear campaign to oust him from the committee, even as he wages his own longshot bid to become the national party's next chairman.

Five months ago, Mark Willis lost his delegate seat at the Republican National Convention in Tampa because of his outspoken support for presidential candidate Ron Paul.

Now, other Republican National Committee members question whether Willis is eligible to represent Maine on the committee -- let alone run for RNC chairman -- because he was listed as Paul's running mate on Maine's official list of declared write-in candidates last November.

Failure to support the party's presidential nominee is grounds for removal from the committee under RNC rules.

But Willis said he had no hand in his name appearing as a write-in candidate for vice president -- a claim confirmed by the man who filed the original paperwork -- and Willis insisted he supported Republican nominee Mitt Romney after the convention.
