What will work be like after the COVID-19 pandemic? – Business in Vancouver

Employers will need to carefully consider how post-pandemic meetings are conducted to encourage collaboration and discourage a silo effect |Alistair Berg/DigitalVIsion/Getty

As vaccines begin to roll out across the province, employers and employees are wondering what the return to work will look like.

Among employees working from home, 64% say they arent sure about or wouldnt feel comfortable returning to their pre-pandemic workplace in the next three months, according to a recent PWC study.

Many of these employees also believe they have been as productive or more productive working from home than they have at their workplace: 35% said they were more productive; 40% said their productivity was the same.

So why return to the office?

Employees from various fields are split on the form work should take in a post-pandemic world. However, most employees working from home agree that some form of remote work should be included. Only 20% say employees should return full-time to the office. The remaining 80% suggest that employees should be allowed to spend at least some of their time working from home.

I think we are going to see kind of a hybrid model, said Terri Griffith, professor of innovation and entrepreneurship at Simon Fraser University (SFU). You can design for [any hybrid model]. There is no one best way; theres just a best way for what youre trying to do.

However, a hybrid model doesnt mean saying anything goes or allowing employees to decide to work where theyre most comfortable. Griffith said her main concern is that employers wont take enough care to create a system that fairly integrates everyones contributions. The PWC study highlighted that some of the biggest challenges employees had working at home were communication, connectivity and collaboration. Companies are being challenged to help ensure both remote and workplace employees have an equal opportunity to head new projects, share their ideas and move up in the company.

Forty per cent of the employees who were given upskilling opportunities during the pandemic saw a jump in productivity, while 83% of employers said that offering upskilling opportunities improved job performance, according to the PWC study.

For some companies this may mean choosing a one-model-fits-all solution in which everyone works remotely or everyone returns to the workplace. However, Griffith said, its possible, though not always easy, to create a system that equally values both type of workers.

Its going to take a strong company commitment to make a hybrid work well. Its not impossible; its just you have to design for that. If all you say is, Employees, you get to pick, thats not going to work because it means youre not going to pay for the best collaboration capabilities; youre not going to incentivize people to work within those collaborative tools.

Griffith is also concerned that medium-sized companies may not be as well equipped to handle a hybrid model as major players or even smaller, more nimble companies are. Large organizations like SFU can devote resources and an entire team to developing a system and maintaining a good hybrid working environment. Smaller companies can easily check in with employees and ensure they are involved. Medium-sized companies, however, may not be able to work it out through conversation or to devote a team to the task.

But there are other approaches.

Griffith said there are a number of strategies employers can implement to help make a hybrid model work. One policy is to ensure all meeting attendees use the same medium for meetings, either all in person or all by video chat or conference line. Griffith said having multiple people using different collaboration methods can create a silo effect, with groups excluding each other from their conversations.

Another important strategy companies should consider, she said, is to develop a process for assigning projects, opportunities and promotions so that theyre not giving preferential treatment to employees seen regularly in the office and unintentionally excluding at-home workers.

Boris’s threat to intervene in the Super League furore is proof that his libertarian instincts are dead – Reaction

Posted: at 12:16 pm

After a rollercoaster few days its coming home. The chicken, that is. To roost.

It was announced at the weekend that twelve of Europes leading football clubs had agreed to establish a new midweek competition, the European Super League, governed by its Founding Clubs. The goal was to rival the UEFA Champions League. In the end, it rivals Colgates frozen food or Bics hosiery in the award for worst business ideas.

The concept was this: top clubs would minimise risk and get a cash boost by forming a hermetically sealed league (bar a few teams that they would magnanimously permit to join each year). The 15 founding members would be immune from relegation; the position of the five lesser clubs was more precarious.

Within 48 hours of the dirty dozen confirming their intention to redefine the structure of European football, all six English clubs (Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham) had been forced into an embarrassing climbdown. At the time of writing just two had yet to announce their departure.

The storm of protest didnt take long to brew. First were the squeals and threats of sanctions from the games European and world governing bodies. Then came Boris Johnson, Keir Starmer, and many other opportunistic politicians who started tweeting absurdities about no action being off the table and government doing whatever it takes to bring the gravy train to a juddering halt.

Later, former England defender and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville claimed it was pure greed. Well sure, Gary, but for clubs to satisfy their avarice they need to provide supporters with a product theyre willing to buy. Giving the fans what they want and greed arent mutually exclusive.

We should remember that there are two audiences here, however, with different ideas of what the consumer good is. One group likes the idea of seeing Liverpool play Real Madrid but couldnt care less about the Merseyside reds taking on a lesser-known team. These supporters are drawn in by individual players and on skill; they follow a team in the same way that they have a favourite brand of beer or type of food.

But the other group value the raw openness, the uncertainty and the competition. It brings tension, and failure makes the success all the sweeter. Theyll traipse to the stands come rain or shine and weep when their underdog beats the odds, because they value traditional identity and rivalry. Its why, at the start of the week, a product bifurcation looked possible. The Premier League and national associations could have expelled the Super League (and should have been free to do so).

To understand why the project imploded, just look at the response after the six English clubs withdrew. Players, pundits, fans all cheered a beautiful day for football. It was the sheer volume of complaints, the weight of the backlash, that triggered the collapse. I belong in neither of the above groups as a football sceptic Ive never really grasped its appeal but even I could see that a competition in which Arsenal would lose endlessly to AC Milan with no fear of relegation would get boring, fast.

Importantly, the ESL was not brought to its knees by government regulation regardless of how much our libertarian Prime Minister might have yearned to claim that scalp. In case there was ever any doubt that this free market administration that advocates for government getting out of the way is actually more committed to finding innovative ways of encroaching into our everyday lives, the rapid-fire threat of legislative bombs has put it to rest. This is a government that will impose bans on countless forms of entertainment it doesnt like regardless of whether it is causing harm to others. What we eat, drink, smoke, inject and thats not to mention the misery weve all been under this past year.

Was there really any justification for intervention? The breakaway wouldve established a regulated oligopolistic competition. But the Premier League has long been an oligarchy of a handful of top clubs with the funds to outbid others for the best players. With the exception of the Leicester City shock, the PL has been dominated by five clubs for over two decades. If we clamp down on this, then do we also deconstruct the Boat Race or the Ashes? How do we reconcile claims of a cartel with the fact that the Europa League and Champions League would havecontinued operating? And if a closed shop did restrict competition (lets not forget that many top clubs are listed public companies and therefore bound by competition policy), would this anti-competitive move not have been a question for the courts?

It doesnt take a season ticket holder to realise that the Super League was destined to outrage and doomed to fail. We didnt learn much from this episode, though apparently the Prime Minister isnt into football much himself. I guess that means we have one thing in common, given we may no longer share a love of individual liberty.

WAHRHAFTIG: This Year’s Primary Affects Everyone And Everyone Can Vote – Patch.com

Posted: at 12:16 pm

On Tuesday, May 18 Pennsylvania expects the same low turnout that we see at most primary elections. This would be unfortunate, since this primary affects every voter in the state, no matter their political party, or if they are registered as an independent. Yet the sad truth is thousands of voters are probably unaware that they are even allowed to cast a vote.

Everyone pays for a primary to be held, although Libertarians like myself, as well as Green or other party members, cannot participate in most primaries. An exception is when referendums are on the ballot. Independents are also excluded from voting in primaries in our state. But next month everyone is allowed to vote on some key referendums that will affect our state constitution.

Even Democrats and Republicans often skip the primary. They may assume their party machine has predetermined the winner, so they may as well wait until the general election in the fall. This means important changes to the Pennsylvania constitution will be determined by far fewer voters than if these proposals were on a November ballot.

As usual, the referendums are worded awkwardly, but they contain important proposals that would affect the use of government powers as well as the ability to discriminate against individuals. This is our chance, as voters, to place important decision powers back into the hands of the constituents, and to ensure that all Pennsylvanians are treated fairly no matter what their background may be.

The Libertarian Party of Chester County supports all three referendums. As Libertarians, we promote individual freedom and reject the notion that a single executive can suspend the state constitution without answering to the voters or their elected representatives. Two of these referendums are focused on this.

For the past year business and schools throughout the Delaware Valley as well as the rest of the state have suffered from constantly changing, often arbitrary rules that have violated the state constitution, and the rights of citizens. Pennsylvania's constitution allows for the temporary suspension of some laws in the case of a serious emergency. The keyword here is 'temporary,' defined as 21 days.

When an executive violates the spirit of this law by arbitrarily extending an emergency order as often as he likes, we no longer are faced with an emergency, we instead have a version of martial law that can last as long as only one person decides. The May ballot proposes that while a chief executive may declare an emergency (which makes sense) the executive may not endlessly prolong it without permission from the legislature (which follows the spirit of our constitution).

Another amendment makes this clear; an emergency is a temporary situation that may last for up to 21 days. It does not allow you to close businesses, shut schools, and prevent assembly for undefined periods of time. Again, this power belongs to the voters and to their representatives, not to a single politician.

The last initiative is a joint resolution to prohibit discrimination due to race or ethnicity. This resolution is designed to ensure that our rights are not denied or abridged because of who we are. While it appeared that not every major party supported this at first, the resolution now seems to have the backing of every party, as it should.

The LPCC urges every voter to go to the polls this May 18 and vote yes on all three proposals. Reject discrimination and reject placing powers in the hands of one executive, no matter what party they support.

The pandemic is thankfully reaching its final stages, thanks to brilliant technology and the hard work of so many in the medical profession. But the damage caused to business, students, workers and families will unfortunately be with us for a long time, largely due to the poor decisions made by a single chief executive who felt he could ignore the will of his constituents and their elected representatives.

It is time to end the dictatorship. Support equal rights. Support our state constitution. Vote YES on the ballot initiatives on May 18.

The Economic Fallout of COVID-19: Could We Have Avoided This Disaster? – Worth

Posted: at 12:16 pm

When Politicians Panicked, John Tamnys new book about the political response to the coronavirus pandemic, is a shocking read.

When Politicians Panicked, John Tamnys new book about the political response to the coronavirus pandemic, is a shocking read. Tamny, a political theorist at Freedom Works, editor of the Real Clear Markets website, economic advisor to a mutual fund and author of several books on economics, lives near Washington, D.C. He is also a Libertarians Libertarian.

When Politicians Panicked (pictured below) is two books in one.

The first, interspersed throughout, is a primer on Libertarian economics. Tamny has little to no faith that economists acting under government directives can generate wealth. Regulations, taxes, policymakers (especially the Fed) and government spending is, according to him, counterproductive. It robs the capital needed for growth from the productive economy, creating something not stimulative but regressive. He writes, Economic growth is a consequence of economic freedom. When people are broadly free to produce sans overbearing barriers of the tax, regulation, trade and floating money variety, they prosper. Tamnys intellectual heroes are the father of economics Adam Smith and political theorist John Stuart Mill.

In the second book, Tamny argues that the COVID-19 lockdowns were fiscally ruinous without accomplishing their public health goal. When Worth spoke to Tamny he made the following analogy: I compare the lockdowns to a medically induced coma that later requires another medical intervention, including stimulants and shocks, to revive the patient. In this case, the coma was induced by a paranoid government now struggling to revive what it broke.

Tamny (pictured to the right) starts with the premise that adults should be free to make their own decisions. This goes for private enterprises as well. Thus, if a person is afraid of contracting COVID-19 at a Disney park, sports arena or restaurant, they should avoid going. Conversely, if these establishments, for reputational, liability or personal reasons, do not want to open, no one should force them to. Not only that, but via people and venues making individual decisions as to virus avoidance, much could be learned about best safety practices. As he put it on page 65, In short, the policy theorists on the left and right were the crisis. They were substituting their limited knowledge for that of the marketplace.

In the books early pages, the author states he is not going to engage in medical second-guessing about the lethality of the virus, but his personal viewpoint is clear. (He does not think it is highly lethal as its mortality was primarily limited to the elderly and those with co-morbidities.) He believes if the virus had been far more deadly, rational people would have stayed home and the business world would have taken enhanced precautions. Forced lockdowns would have been superfluous. It cannot be stressed enough that people do not need a law to avoid that which might kill them.

The micromanaging of the shutdowns was, as so many have pointed out, often irrational. You could buy flowers at an essential Walmart but not at your local florist.

The irrationality was not the only thing contagious. Gyms, when they reopened, eliminated all grooming aids like Aqua Velva and deodorantboth well-known virus vectors! School openings and closings were not only chaotic but logic-free. In NYC, restaurants were heavily fined if inspectors found an open wine bottle after the 10 p.m. alcohol curfew.

Tamny finds all this not only maddening but an absurdity born not out of science but panic. He has some serious scientific company in this belief. His friend, journalist John Tierney, believes the same thing.

Is Tamny hard-hearted? Is he a social Darwinist? Not at all. As he told Worth, By and large, this pandemic was an inconvenience at worst, or a vacation to the wealthy, Zoom-enabled, or those with Wolf stoves for baking. To the working class, to those who were laid off because they needed to physically be at their jobs, the economic suffering and dislocation were devastating. This tragedy is emphasized in his book.

Tamny doesnt believe this aspect of the pandemics lockdowns will see the true light of day because writers and editors do not live in the world of the poor. While Tamny doesnt either, he seems more sympathetic to the plight of those not able to keep their paychecks going. He cites credible forecasts that hundreds of millions will starve globally. We know in America hunger is real with the Brookings Institute stating that food insecurity has doubled due to COVID-19.

Ironically, one-size-fits-all lockdowns did not affect all the same way. This truth seems undeniable. Why else would we need trillions in relief packages? Certainly not for those with stock portfolios or homes in the Hamptons or Palm Beach.

So, what is the shocking part of When Politicians Panicked? The realization that Tamny is half or even a quarter right in believing the governments response to the pandemic made it worse. If each person, each business and school was able to make decisions based on their assessment of risk to reward, would we have been better off? Would the economic disaster that befell so many have been lessened?

When Politicians Panicked is the Libertarian answer to these questions.

An indispensable guide to finance, investing and entrepreneurship.

There’s nonstop combat in ‘Mortal Kombat,’ much of it mortal – Minneapolis Star Tribune

Posted: at 12:14 pm

One thing you forget about in a yearlong pause from a lifetime of frequent moviegoing is how the big screen can overwhelm you in a way a TV or computer cannot.

There's a reason "Mortal Kombat" actually makes sense on a smaller screen it is, after all, inspired by a video game. But in a theater where it's loud and huge, it seems to come at you in waves of flying fists, spurting blood and severed body parts. Which is, of course, the question anybody who might want to see "Mortal Kombat" is asking: How's the kombat? The answer is: mortal. And nonstop.

The movie is nothing but fight scenes, and that's probably how fans want it. At the climax, there's so much hand-to-hand combat going on or, in one case, hand-to-prosthetic-because-his-hand-was-lopped-off that director Simon McQuoid has to cut between five simultaneous battles.

The movie earns its R rating with those fights, which are grisly. But they're staged clearly and intelligently, like the big dance numbers in a musical. (Speaking of music, the film closes with a track whose only lyric is the game's iconic "Finish him!")

"Mortal Kombat" was made to service fans, rather than to attract new ones. The mythology is overly complicated and the characters are given the kind of entrances granted to characters whom audiences are expected to already know. Most are "champions" who come to a gladiator training camp where they face off in order to learn their hidden superpowers. They are the same sort of powers you get if you're an X-man: invisibility, an eye laser beam, super-strength, etc.

In between pummeling and beheading one another, there's a bit of back story connecting champion Cole Young (Lewis Tan) to his similarly superpowered ancestors. Characters occasionally pause to bark out dialogue that could become a line of greeting cards for the toxically masculine: "Pain is the ultimate catalyst," "Prove to yourself you can do it or you'll regret it for the rest of your life" and that sort of thing.

It's ridiculous but the movie has a sense of humor about it, with most of the best lines given to an Aussie lunkhead named Kano (Josh Lawson). He gets to have the most fun, tossing off so many mean pop culture references ("Put a shirt on, Magic Mike!" he yells at a ripped competitor) and insensitive insults that you know his politically incorrect character is not going to last long in this extremely diverse movie.

He won't be around for any possible "Mortal Kombat" sequels but it's clear the moviemakers are hoping for some. The movie ends with another of those insider-y references that flew right over this non-gamer's head but, when I looked it up later, I discovered it's a nod to a character fans will probably be psyched to see in the next movie.

Nostalgia and outdated pop culture are a heck of a combination, and usually one that doesnt end too well. Warner Bros. reboot of Joe Pytkas cult comedy Space Jam (1996) looks to be testing this formula as far as it can go, based on the new trailer for Malcolm D. Lees Space Jam: A New Legacy.

But before we could joke about the sequel being an obvious, easy cash grab, some highly distracting and possibly obtuse hypocrisy in the trailer was quickly acknowledged on social media.

Unlike the first film, which featured all the classic Looney Tunes characters, plus some new cartoon faces alongside basketball superstar Michael Jordan, this new flick is tossing everything at the wall and including nearly all of the properties the studio currently owns next to LeBron James.

This would be only amusingly obvious if it werent for some more controversial character cameos also spotted in the new trailer. The Droogs from Stanley Kubricks A Clockwork Orange (1971), the War Boys of George Millers Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) and the White Walkers of HBOs Game of Thrones (2011-19).

The first two are from R-rated movies and the third from a TV-MA cable series, and all feature graphic violent content. Why are these characters making appearances in a family-friendly fantasy-comedy?

These additions are not only peculiar, but almost hilariously bewildering after Warner and Lee went out of their way to claim the new movie would be more progressive by portraying Lola Bunny as less sexy and more girl power-heavy, plus snubbing Pepe Le Pews presence.

Pepes absence is not surprising, since the characters schtick is very dated. Watching some of the old Pepe cartoon shorts contemporarily on YouTube, it is a little awkward to see the skunk so physically up in the cats personal space while shes not interested in him at all, even if the gag is toward his delusion.

For generally politically incorrect content in their classic cartoons, Warner Bros. usually begins the shorts with a special disclaimer as a warning and reminder that the studios current views arent relevant to a half-century ago.

This is generally a tactic I prefer over a studio such as Disney that has a habit of hiding its controversial material as if it doesnt exist.

But if thats the route Warner Bros. is choosing to go with Pepe Le Pew this time around, at least be genuine with it and dont make it completely obvious that its only performative when you feature R-rated famous movie/TV characters inappropriately in a PG-rated comedy.

Kero Kero Bonito: Civilisation II (Polyvinyl) – Under the Radar Mag

Kero Kero BonitoCivilisation IIPolyvinyl

Apr 22, 2021By Caleb CampbellWeb Exclusive

British indie pop trio Kero Kero Bonito have long been ever-changeable, darting between new transformations in sound and style with each new release. Previously, the band have prefaced these shifts with an EP, as with the TOTEP EP pointing to the noisy, dreamy, and insanely catchy indie rock of Time n Place. Once again the band heralded a new era in 2019, this time with a danceable synth pop existential odyssey, Civilisation I.

For their previous EP, the band widened their scope, going beyond Sarah Bonitos dreams, mental health, and millennial malaise for a heady look at civilizational struggle through the years. And, true to the previous EPs numbering, the trio is back with a follow-up EP this year (the fittingly titled Civilisation II), expanding the sound and themes of Civilisation I in new directions and once again proving themselves one of the most creative and subversive pop acts out there.

The EPs themes follow a loose progressionpast, present, and future. The first track, Princess and the Clock, takes the listener on a spritely experimental pop journey through a fairy tale. The sound of the track is pure Kero Kero Bonito, drawing back to the bands early albums with their influences from synth pop and chiptune. Glittering synth pop and irrepresible energy keep the track relentlessly catchy, making for some of the strongest hooks of the bands career. Yet, even as they call back to their earliest work, the bands talents have only grown since then, most especially on the production side. In fact, the production on Civilisation II makes for a consistent highlight. Reportedly, the band used entirely vintage analog synths during the making of the EP, crafting tracks that deploy the tools of the past in a fearlessly forward-thinking experimental approach.

The second track, 21/04/20, represents the worlds exceedingly strange present, reflecting on a single day at the beginning of lockdown a year ago. The band perfectly captures the hazy blend of days that quarantine brought last year. Lines like Hey how are you doing?/Im okay just the usual kind of weird recall the simultaneously surreal and banal realities of the last year, all wrapped in dreamy melody and easygoing energy. While perhaps the least immediately memorable of the trio of tracks, the welcoming analog synths and intimate melodies imbue the song with an alluring sense of nostalgia, putting a warm yet otherworldly spin on the present.

Finally, the closing track, Well Rested, looks towards the future. Its no surprise in that case that the track is the most experimental cut on the EP, a multi-phased synth funk opus that clocks in at seven minutes, the bands longest track yet. Well Rested meanders down textured synth soundscapes before leading into a driving climax, transforming into a futuristic club-ready breakdown as Sarah Bonito intones over top like a prophet of doom. Similar to the environmentalist themes of Civilisation I, the track grapples with environmental collapse, this time envisioning a transhumanist future as humanity evolves into new formsWe have survived a hundred apocalypses/Doomsday hasnt come yet/You can not stop civilization. Finally, the track descends into a glitchy noise-filled resting state, ending the EPs loose narrative with a vision of an uncertain future.

Since the bands debut, Kero Kero Bonito has gained a well-earned reputation for consistently creative indie pop, able to effortlessly innovate and experiment while retaining their unmistakable lively energy and immediately welcoming melodies. Civilisation II not only builds upon that reputation but points to equally bright horizons in the bands future. With their most lush and detailed production yet, seamlessly shifting genre influences, and increasingly creative songwriting, Civilisation II is another welcome addition to the Kero Kero Bonito story. Of Percentages and Neoliberal Predatation – CounterPunch.org – CounterPunch

The essence in obedience consists in the fact that a person comes to view himself or herself as an instrument for carrying out another persons wishes and he therefore no longer regards himself as responsible for his actions. Stanley Milgram

Mindfuck The process of raping someones intelligence and/or beliefs with lies and manipulation. The only defense is instinct and intuition otherwise known as the TRUTH. Urban Dictionary.com

Milgrams social psychological experimentation in 1961 concerning compliance with authority is of a high degree of relevance concerning the collective psychosis and the abusive erosion of identity which neoliberal corporatism form of Globalization manifestly constitutes now. and which We, sense of Zamyatin, in the early 21 st. Century but now austerely subsist shockingly and in awe of as under - as but preyed upon, alas?

Necrotrophically to but a boot as stomps on the face of life purposive?

As Orwell conceived , it takes but 16 percent such the in and out of a population rendered ideologically raped to point of the political facilitation the totalitarian horror he so presciently as perspicaciously delineated in his final work 1984 -as can be interpreted a fascist mindfuck of life portrayed; such the predation cognised?

In Orwells Dystopian nightmare the 16 percent was composed of 1 percent Inner Party and 15 percent Outer Party.

Or are things set to get so bad, such the contemptoraneity (sic) that 1984 can be viewed as relatively Utopian?

Small quarters write in an elaborated code as but a tiny part of the 84%; ; a mere prole Gred, not quite yet lumpen as ragged trousered such the philanthropy but as can apperceive of the rape of intelligence and contextualize ponerological; this as much as dissidence increasingly becoming surplus to requirements , such the philanthropic archipelago inhabited alienative, such the social credit contingent upon deceit being accepted and practiced being ramped up hegemonic?

A dissidence which in process now of becoming increasingly broader and more incorporatively defined as denounced, such the neoliberal strings of the ideological one size fits all global strait jacket being tightened hegemonic under a hidden agenda -whereby Science displaces Religion such the new sugarcandy mountain rocked as moved and shaked geopolitical as Corporatist?

Apropos the question as to the relative utopianism of Orwells vision has often been a cause of some puzzlement to these small quarters as to why exactly Orwell permitted the 84% to live in 1984; indeed he remarks within same that if there was hope, it must lie in the proles. Perchance they had a utility as a reminder, sense of memento mori, to the 15% of what life would be other than but for the party as a hierarchical order panopticonic as caring?

Machiavellis observation as to the distinction between fear and love is apposite?

In a neoliberal context there can be a utility of a surplus of labor under capital intensity thru technological displacement, as capable of becoming effete such the apotheosis budding of the evil as much as whence needs must?

In Milgrams original experiment 65% of the participants administered a punishment marked Danger: Severe shock, despite the audible pain of the trainees. It notable that all participants were paid for participation in the experiment regardless of their willingness to inflict pain on another human being as a peer - and this expresses but one limitation of the parallels insightful which the experiment offers to real life in a socioeconomic context and as concerns differentiated reward structure /hierarchy under a political system largely defined by same as a resource transfer scheme/racket?

What would be the implications were the element of financial incentivization included?

One thinks of Sinclair Lewis and his proposition concerning understanding and reward, sense of livelihood?

That harm as a polymorphous concept instanced inflicted regardless under gain as so brought to be apperceived as hegemonic under a cost/benefit analysis carried out amoral to prove a hellish epitaph of ecocide, as opposed to a benign epiphany concerning Life on Earth as Anthropocentric?

Tragically neoliberal globalization does not just impact adversely on the majority of Mankind, but also on the ecosystem and biodiversity, such the permit granted to control and issue currency extrapolated upon pragmatic , such the neoliberal predatorial austerity as a tragic pathway to hell on earth determined as rendered pedagogical?

For what will we do, can we be brought to do, to survive, what pain shall we inflict or what sacrifices made; how can we be brought to view the value of life such the Politics of the Ego as enshrined narcissistic as neoliberal in a ponerological context as would be denied by objectivity and materialism such the ascendance?

For there is no alternative (TINA)?

There is no good or evil?

There are no limits to the transfer of resources?

No limits to greed?

Politics is but economics now -morality no longer part of the equation such the freedom synonymised way of newspeak?

It is undoubtedly the case concerning surveillance and psychological abuse that Orwells prescience in 1984 has tragically served as a neoliberal blu print for the totalitarianism of Globalization but that similar can also be claimed concerning Huxley and Brave New World (?) the latter having a greater focus on eugenics and the psychobiological manipulation of man as the prescience goes alas, which under the truly evil concept of transhumanism proving to be a large part of the hell being raised on earth, sense of as Milton sublimely indicated poetic as metapolitical in Paradise Lost and as much as Ecocide would go quietly into a darkness satanic?

That this small article, it exists cyberspatial an irony?

That satan as an extra dimensional force exists forceful as to an immorality or amorality prevailing is a salient question existing now in the early 21st C. whence Science become the basis for lockdown as much as human rights abandoned; whence we brought to look at others fearfully as much as joie de vivre a memory destined to be but further holed pragmatically as utilitarian concerning alienation and marginalization but an absurd irrelevance of paranoid proportion?

The reduction of biodiversity as Life devalued is but evil epitomized and is echoed or amplified through the concept of man made replacement/build back better?

That we subsist in End Times such the vile degeneration of R2P by way of mindfuck no mere product of happenstance?

Material rape by way of economic polarization does not come unaccompanied?

Ideological rape becomes ever easier the greater the economic polarization extrapolated upon?

To paraphrase a well known proverb, it takes but 16% rotten to spoil the whole barrel?

For we are undoubtedly staring down a barrel pointed neoliberal as Anthropobscene (sic) now, to point of the rot of not just man, but all creatures great and small, such the care not as would be for the ecosytem such the incorporation?

The abominable concepts of surplus population, eugenics and transhumanism as an unholy trinity fostered under greed express a predation which is metapolitical -and in all of which technology as the fruit of Empiricism plays a part?

The technology of economic polarization being the technology of technological displacement and capital intensity; the technology which poisons the planet is that of genetic engineering, nuclear fission, agrochemicals, microwave radiation? It is also that of lies told bigger and better thru mass media as but a means of mass mindfuck?

The thing is, small quarters would dearly like to be able to claim that things were not always so such the plus a change, but are so mindfucked as typical that it nigh on impossible to so do certainly without reference to alternative culture sense of Social Anthropology, most of which as alternative has been destroyed, alas, such the rape as much the implosive imposition of stereotype and homogeneity, and sense of the toast by Burns?

When the baby has been thrown out with the bathwater, after time traditional as fugit it becomes difficult to remember that it ever existed, let alone that abortion a more apposite metaphor; such the pass as heads off?

The biggest wound as of a hole inflicted fascist is not that of memory however falsified it is of the expression of imagination and the expropriation of same?

The tragedy of transhumanism and the merger of mind with Artificial Intelligence looms on high like an executioners block such the fierce neoliberal fun of the man gods as enshrined in Moritaten? (Apologies to Frank Wedekind)

Anyone willing to label as denounce these small quarters as a conspiracy theorist as being of questionable status compos mentis should read The Great Reset?

It is difficult to remain optimistic such the times as exogeneously and economically depressing as austerity goes, albeit the sun still shines upon a wondrous diversity of life despite the ongoing efforts of such as Americans biggest landowner Bill Gates and Elon Musk construed ponerologically?

Could but we see life as eternal as it is from within the epiphenomenon it constitutes incarnate; if there were more light permitted in this dark classroom of the flesh such the friction of the finitude- then there could be a socialist paradise on Earth?

A socialism not just for man, but for all Life?

An absence of fear?

Such the point metapolitical this small article, such the Socialism become obscene as marginalization, alienation and corruption goes predatorial as necrotrophic, such the mass mindfuck on a global scale ongoing as would render by way of obscurity , irrelevance and unacceptability?
