RADIESSE is an injectable dermal filler used to plump the skin. When age or scarring causes fine lines, wrinkles, or sagging, RADIESSE dermal fillers can be injected below the skin to restore volume and smooth, youthful fullness. Each type of dermal filler is uniquely formulated to address specific concerns. RADIESSEs formula uses a water-based gel with calcium-based microspheres to recreate lost volume, with non-toxic and non-allergenic ingredients. Because the components of RADIESSEs formula are very similar to naturally-occurring minerals, people are much less likely to experience an allergic response. Over time, the body absorbs the filler material, but unlike traditional dermal fillers that need to be immediately readministered to maintain the desired results after theyre absorbed, RADIESSE dermal filler treatment is also designed to spark the production of your bodys natural collagen, meaning youll retain your improved appearance for even longer before you need retreatment.

While most people select RADIESSE for use improving the appearance of the face, specifically the skin around the nose and mouth, it is also used to restore volume on the backs of hands, and it can sometimes be administered as an alternative to implant surgery in the nose, cheeks, or chin.

I hid my body from husband Alex after psoriasis gave me panic attacks and drove me to breakdowns, says… – The Sun

Posted: at 11:57 am

LOVE Island's Olivia Bowen "hid" her painful psoriasis from husband Alex and told how her mental health suffered as she battled the chronic skin condition.

The reality TV star bravely spoke after showing fans red and itchy "angry" patches all over her body earlier this year.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun Olivia, 27, revealed she couldn't bring herself to take off her clothes in front of her husband during aggressive flare-ups.

The star said: "Im shocked when I say it out loud but I used to turn away when trying to put my T-shirt on without him seeing my back and front because it was really bad, and he was like what are you doing? Why are you hiding? I dont care.

"That was such a struggle for me to understand that he was accepting of it.

"Back in the day Id be bullied for it, boys would laugh at me and think its disgusting - so having this guy that fully accepted me was quite shocking.

"Your mind runs away with you, but he is so supportive."

Olivia said she has come to terms with her skin thanks to encouragement from her fans and fellow sufferers after speaking out.

She added: "I dont feel 100 per-cent confident in myself. I'm not sure I ever will. Ive learned to accept that.

"I am gonna have my down days. I am gonna feel crap sometimes, thats completely human. Sharing it with everyone else has helped me so much.

"I remember when I was taping on Instagram, I had psoriasis and it really flared up. Id been itching and scratching all day. I was having a breakdown. I had a panic attack and I was so scared to share it.

"When I was 17 no one accepted it. No one was there for me to look up to. When I put it out there I was so scared, but the support - people I dont personally know - its overwhelming. It really helped my confidence.

"I have had so many inboxes about my psoriasis recently. Girls and guys saying Ive struggled with this for so long. 'You helped me so much you make me feel comfortable in my skin.'

"It makes you feel like youre doing a lot which is nice."

Olivia has partnered with fair online casino and Bingo site, PlayOJO to launch a sex-education-style campaign to promote its latest safer gambling campaign, Safe Bets.

The campaign has been designed to help people understand that although Gambling is fun, it should be safe fun and this video explains how it can be made safer, by drawing parallels with another area of life we have fun and the idea of protection is already well established - safe sex.

She said: "When we filmed it I struggled to keep a straight face, the whole thing I was just laughing through it.

"It was such a nice way to get such an important message across. Ive had people in my past and present who have struggled with gambling problems and I think its something thats really hard to talk about for people my age.

"I thought the way the idea of sex education back in the 80s might grab peoples attention and take on board some of the safer gambling messages.

"It starts out as fun, it's obviously quite addictive, having tools in place to cut playing short or cap your spend is really useful."

To view the full video please and for further details on the campaign please visit PlayOJO.

PN-235 (JNJ-77242113) now expected to advance into multiple Phase 2 clinical studies in 2022, for indications including psoriasis and inflammatory bowel diseases

NEWARK, Calif., Dec. 2, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Protagonist Therapeutics (Nasdaq: PTGX) ("Protagonist" or "the Company") today announced the selection of PN-235 (JNJ-77242113) as the final candidate for all clinical studies in multiple indications based on intervention of the Interleukin-23 (IL-23) pathway, under the Company's collaboration with Janssen Biotech, Inc. (Janssen). In addition to the previously announced Phase 2 clinical study of PN-235 in psoriasis, new Phase 2 clinical studies of PN-235 in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) are expected to commence in late 2022. Further development of PN-232 (JNJ-7510586) will be discontinued in favor of PN-235 based on its superior potency, and overall pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profile.

"We are delighted to see PN-235 emerge as the clear focal point going forward, after over four-plus years of a highly productive and ongoing collaboration with Janssen," said Dinesh V. Patel, PhD, President and CEO of Protagonist. "We look forward to exploring the full potential of a highly differentiated, oral targeted therapy like PN-235, thereby potentially addressing persistent unmet needs of patients with immune-mediated diseases like psoriasis and IBD."

Protagonist will earn a $25 million milestone in connection with the initiation of the first Phase 2 study of PN-235 in psoriasis in early 2022. Protagonist is also eligible for a $10 million milestone in connection with the start of the second indication-based Phase 2 study. Protagonist is eligible for up to approximately $900 million in development-related milestone payments, in addition to the $87.5M in milestones already earned. Under the terms of the collaboration, Janssen will conduct all future clinical studies, including these anticipated Phase 2 studies, and will be solely financially responsible for any such studies.

Do Hand Sanitizer Lotions Actually Work? – Everyday Health

Posted: at 11:52 am

You already know that keeping your hands clean is one of the best ways to keep yourself and others around you healthy.

Plain old handwashing with soap and water is most effective at fighting germs, as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) notes. When youre on the go, hand sanitizer made with at least 60 percent alcohol is a good stand-in.

Hand sanitizer remains important because it helps remove germs from your hands, so that they do not end up on your face, explains Jeffrey Cohen, MD, board-certified dermatologist and assistant professor at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. These products can help reduce your risk of the common cold and in combination with vaccines COVID-19 and the flu, Dr. Cohen adds.

But if you regularly use hand sanitizer, you know that this hygiene product comes with an unpleasant side effect: dry, cracked skin. Thats why many people follow their hand sanitizer with a moisturizer. Now, though, thanks to a host of new products in drugstores, you may be able to take this hygiene routine from two steps to one, or at least use less moisturizer after sanitizing your hands.

RELATED: 10 Surprising Causes of Dry Skin

The alcohol in hand sanitizers can have a drying effect on the skin, says Joshua Zeichner, MD, associate professor of dermatology and director of cosmetic and clinical research in dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. With overuse, hand sanitizers can disrupt the skin barrier. For those witheczema and others with sensitive skin, the skin barrier is already compromised, increasing inflammation and causing or worsening symptoms including dryness, redness, flakiness, and irritation, notes the National Eczema Association. Therefore, using hand sanitizers without moisturizing the skin afterward can worsen symptoms of eczema on the hands.

RELATED: Alcohol in Skin Care: Is It Ever Okay?

The latest generation of hand sanitizers are truly a hybrid between skin care and disinfectants, Dr. Zeichner says. They contain the same types of hydrating ingredients found in traditional hand moisturizers, to protect the skin barrier from the ingredients that are necessary to kill microorganisms that spread infections.

While its less likely youll develop dryness and irritation when using moisturizing hand sanitizers, I still recommend exercising caution and using traditional hand moisturizers, he adds.

RELATED: The Top 10 Tips for Healthy Winter Skin

To pick a product that cleans and restores moisture to the skin, turn your attention to the ingredients list and follow these expert tips.

I always look for ethyl alcohol, which is more effective than isopropyl alcohol at killing microorganisms, says Karan Lal, MD, a board-certified dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group in Hillsborough, New Jersey. While sanitizers with an alcohol concentration between 60 and 95 percent are more effective at killing germs than those with a lower alcohol concentration or a non-alcohol-based hand sanitizer, per theCDC, sticking to a sanitizer on the lower end of the scale is better for your skin. I would avoid very high concentrations (more than 85 percent) of alcohol because they are more drying, Dr. Lal says. All you need is 60 percent ethyl alcohol.

Separately, be wary of potentially hidden methanol content in certain sanitizers. In July 2020,the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) noted on its website that some products imported from Mexico were found to be contaminated with the ingredient, which was mislabeled as ethanol. Methanol is toxic, and its absorption can have serious health consequences including blindness and death, Lal says. The FDA urges consumers to pay attention to the ingredients labels on such products, and to avoid using any products specifically known to contain methanol, which the agency lists on its website.

If you have sensitive skin, consider a non-alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Benzalkonium chloride is one option, as its an antiseptic agent that has been found to deactivate COVID-19. Nonetheless, it doesnt kill as many infectious microorganisms as alcohol, Lal says. A study published in February 2021 in The Journal of Hospital Infectionfound that benzalkonium chloride deactivates COVID-19 on both hands and surfaces. Researchers noted several advantages of using it over alcohol for hand disinfection, including that it is less irritating to skin and nonflammable. They also pointed out that healthcare workers may be more likely to engage in better hand hygiene practices with benzalkonium chloride hand sanitizer because it has fewer side effects than alcohol-based sanitizers.

In terms of inactive ingredients, Lal looks for squalene, glycerin, and coconut oil all of which help attract water and maintain moisture, he says. Nazanin Saedi, MD, department co-chair of the Laser and Aesthetics Surgery Center at Dermatology Associates of Plymouth Meeting in Pennsylvania, agrees, noting that glycerin is the main ingredient she looks for in moisturizing hand sanitizers.

This tip is key for people with eczema and anyone managing sensitive skin, as fragrance can be irritating, says Dr. Saedi. It goes back to that compromised skin barrier that Zeichner mentioned earlier. Fragrances can be irritants, Saedi says, and with the compromised barrier, you can be prone to exacerbating eczema.

RELATED:The Skin-Care Glossary Every Woman Needs

Lal recommends this hand sanitizer because it boasts 70 percent ethyl alcohol, plus hydrating squalane and vegan glycerine. Its also fragrance-free, making it a great option for those with eczema or sensitive skin.

Buy it.

Another favorite of Lals, this hand sanitizer from baby brand Pipette is hypoallergenic and contains 65 percent ethyl alcohol. The fragrance-free hand sanitizer also boasts sugarcane-derived squalane for hydration.

Buy it.

This product is made with 61 percent naturally derived ethyl alcohol, in addition to moisturizers and emollients such as glycerin, butylene glycol, dimethicone, and glycine soja (soybean) oil. Both Lal and Zeichner are fans.

Buy it.

Both Saedi and Zeichner recommend this non-alcohol-based disinfectant. This hand sanitizer uses FDA-cleared benzalkonium chloride to keep the hands disinfected, but helps keep the skin hydrated and protected with glycerin and tapioca starch, forming a breathable seal over the skin, explains Zeichner.

Buy it.

Can Milk Baths Be Used To Treat Eczema? – The List

Posted: at 11:52 am

The list of cures for eczema seems to now include milk baths, although there is still some debate on their suitability for the purpose. Essentially, a milk bath involves the addition of milk to the bathwater, per Healthline. Scientifically, uncertainty shrouds the efficacy of this particular cure, even though some studies have been made which suggest that milk baths can indeed help with skin ailments like eczema, as well as psoriasis (via Healthline.)

But even where milk baths have been successful, they have been found to be more suited to infants than adults. Infants suffer eczema at a mind-boggling rate; 20% of them are said to go through its discomfort, per Johns Hopkins Medicine.

While milk baths remain generally unproven as a cure for eczema in infants, their use for curing the condition in adults seem even more unconvincing. So it may be wise to speak with your doctor or dermatologist first before attempting this procedure.

Cures that have generally been used, and continued to be recommended as cure for eczema, include apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, and honey, among others, per Medical News Today.

Central heating, showering too much, and woolly jumpers could be bad for you, doctor warns – Daily Express

Posted: at 11:52 am

Dr Manuraj Singh highlighted the risks associated with cranking up the central heating, layering up in woolly jumpers, and enjoying a steamy hot shower twice a day. "Showering once a day is enough for most people. Two showers is over the top," Dr Singh said. "Obviously if you get dirty or become particularly sweaty you should wash this off, but in general I advise sticking to once a day for most adults."

Another drying component is central heating, which "takes moisture away from the skin".

"People with pre-existing dry skin and inflammatory conditions, such as psoriasis and eczema, may find [their conditions] get worse during the winter," said Dr Singh.

"We also tend to go outside less during colder months so we dont get as many UV rays, which are naturally anti-inflammatory."

Dr Singh added: "Obviously, we dont want too many UV rays because they damage your DNA over a period of time which can lead to premature ageing and skin cancer.

DON'T MISS

"But sensible exposure to sunshine while wearing appropriate clothing and sun cream is okay."

Aside from spending some time outdoors while the sun is shining, Dr Singh advises to invest only in "good quality cotton".

Dr Singh elaborated: "Woolly jumpers can certainly irritate the skin so good quality cotton is always better.

"Wool can induce hives and cause itchy bumps, called contact urticaria."

If, however, you are suffering from itchy skin and it's not related to the clothes you wear, further investigation is warranted.

"It could be a sign of an internal problem," warned Dr Singh.

One common skin complaint in winter, aside from dry skin, is the development of chilblains.

Chilblains often appear a few hours after spending time outside in the cold, the NHS explained.

Dr Singh added: "These red skin lesions can be painful and itchy, but usually clear up on their own."

You can usually spot them on the fingers, toes, face, and legs.

"If they dont go away they will need to be investigated," said Dr Singh.

To help guard skin against winter temperatures, Dr Singh's advice is to "regularly moisturise".

Dr Manuraj Singh works on behalf of MyHealthcare Clinic, a doctor-led private healthcare business.

Arca’s ‘KICK’ Cycle Is an Explosive Exploration of Her Multidimensionality – Exclaim!

Since the 2012 breakthrough of her Stretch EPs she has played in the fertile chaos of liminality, straddling possibilities beyond binaries with ease. In her visual collaborations with transhumanist artist Frederik Heyman, for example (see the music video for "Prada/Rakata"), esoteric symbolism meets CGI latex in fusions of human and machine. Her reconceptions of gender, genre, language, physicality, and erotic expression coexist in a transgressive multiverse where nothing is out of the question. Her music lives here, too.

Though she is known for helping produce Yeezus, collaborating with artists like FKA twigs and Bjrk, and posing for portraits for Calvin Klein, the essence of Arca's creative mission is made most apparent elsewhere. Following positive reception of her 2020 album KiCK i (including a Grammy nomination), she released an LP composed entirely of remixes of the track "Riquiqui" generated by the AI software Bronze. Last year she released a single called "@@@@@"which clocked in at 62 minutes. Her contributions to Philippe Parreno's installation in the MoMA lobby a technological entity named "Echo" who responds to stimuli ranging from movements of the public to cloud coverage outside the building have expanded into an online project (echo.world) which allows anyone to tune into the dreamscape of live AI technology.

She has a vast community of online followers who call themselves "Mutants" and, in 2015, she was banned from Instagram for art created with Jesse Kanda for her single "Vanity," in which a cyborgian human is depicted with anatomically correct genitalia. Xen, the "genderless being" that shaped her 2014 album of the same name, was not just a character Arca made up. It was an aspect of her identity which she once used to sign off journal entries.

For Arca, fluid embodiment, category defiance, and the merging of dissonant worlds are more than abstract concepts. Her work exists deliberately beyond the margins of what can be neatly categorized.

The five-record KICK cycle also refuses to be reduced by a lens of linearity. A press release explains that Arca's follow-ups to KiCK i are not sequels, but fractal-like "expansions."Each is intended as a self-contained and totally unique world within a larger multidimensional self-portrait.

The first of these new fractals forays into familiar territory, further developing the avant-electro-meets-reggaetn universe Arca started building withKiCK i. Sung primarily in Ghersi's native Spanish, KICK ii manages symmetry and catchiness despite its descents into the bizarre. Gravelly purrs and the sounds of blades sharpening collide with robotic heartbeats and the crackling of flames. Even at her most accessible, Arca refuses to paint from a predictable palette. But for all her experimentation and chaotic tangents, it is clear in KICKii that she is acutely aware of the balance necessary to build a bop.

The record is nothing if not danceable, although the territory it covers varies. In "Born Yesterday," Arca and Sia pull off anthemic pop. On "Lula Llena," which translates into "Full Moon," eerie otherworldly musings are subdued by a hypnotic dancefloor beat on the cusp of dissolution, while "Araa" invites listeners to tune into something resembling the soundtrack to a video game gone wrong.

If KICKii keeps things weird while remaining approachable, KicK iii practically dares listeners to come closer. The opener "Bruja" makes it clear from the get-go: Arca will not cater to those easily spooked out of her turbulent cyborgian utopia. "Hush it while I lick my bloody claws," Arca instructs. "Did I stutter? Hear me roar." An aggressive rhythmic pulse drives the 12-track album, which harks back to Arca's roots in underground dance music. She bends and breaks down structural formalities, letting echoes and aberrations create warped containers for incendiary sonic layering. There are moments which approach the lucidity of pop, such as in "Seorita," the record's punchy lyrical centerpiece, and "Joya," which closes iii on a note of all-encompassing peace. For the most part, though, the album bears little narrative consistencyonly expansions and distillations of sound which create an ambience so overpowering it is inescapable.

We then enter the eye of the storm. kickiiii swaps cacophony for the serene comfort of atmospheric subtlety. Songs like "Esuna" grace us with raw orchestral elements which are seldom found in Arca's work. While "Whoresong" sees Arca describe her cyclical rebound from hardship and the "bloodlust for beauty" which guides her, "Witch," a collaboration with No Bra, recites a hypnotic incantation and meditates loosely on Kristeva's "abject" over a stripped-down piano melody. In "Queer," Arca and Planningtorock ode LGBTQ+ resilience, singing of the "tears of fire" inherent to the struggle in a sea of celestial sound.

By KiCK iiiii, we are in truly subdued territory. An avant-classical journey into quieter realms, it privileges instrumental detail and tender lyricism over rhythmic intensity. In fact, the record is largely stripped of percussion. Even at its most upbeat, it is reminiscent of the sublimity of Aphex Twin, reminding listeners of the influences which shaped Arca's earliest musical ventures. The KICK anthology is an intergalactic escapade with occasionally violent pit-stops, and iiiii signifies our landing on a planet where peace is possible. One can practically hear birds chirping in the distance.

If the KiCK cycle is an ambitious attempt to make Arca's multidimensionality as human/artist/machine tangible in the formation of a musical universe, the result is neither fully cohesive nor flawless. Her apparent artistic worldview begs the question, though: is it supposed to be?

After all, the anthology began last year with the track "Nonbinary," in which Arca takes wry stabs at those who are distressed by her sovereign ambiguity. Arca seems uninterested in guiding us from a starting point to a definitive destination. Instead, she invites us to explore layers of being with her in a descent/ascent that is constantly both departing and arriving.

KICK ii, iii, iiii, and iiiii demonstrate Arca's prowess in multiple worlds, as she curses in English and laments in Spanish, oscillating between softness and grit, symphonic realness and grating distortion. The records' stand-out moments are almost exclusively moments: a glitch which grows to an arc, a sudden instance of sharp contrast, or a verbal assertion of badassery from Arca herself. KICKlacks a stable throughline, but it is perhaps the possibility of holding many discordant throughlines at once that drives Arca. The albums paint a self-portrait, and no human, no matter how cyborgian, is composed of parts which can be perfectly consolidated.

As a fully-formed whole, KICKis vibrant if not somewhat scattered. As a jumping-off point for more fractal-like expansions, though, it is explosive, with potential only really conceivable to Arca herself.(XL)

I toss the business card on the table of the hotel room where I have just left my luggage. On the back of the card, in rainbow letters, are two small words: Call me. The significance they carry is as heavy as the mental load and burden of the legacy that my mother wants to entrust me with.

I havent heard her voice for months, ever since I left her office, slamming the door.To tell you the truth, I cant really remember the original sound of her voice the one from the past. The one that used to comfort me with lullabies and laughter. The voice synthesiser that for years has served as her interface doesnt really do justice to the magnificent woman who brought me into this world.Whenever one of my boyfriends encountered the device for the first time, they used to raise an eyebrow or found it amusing and made jokes about Hawking [the dead physicist Stephen Hawking]; they generally then didnt get much further than an invitation for a family dinner.

I take off my walking boots, anorak and hiking trousers and stretch out on the bed to check my schedule for tomorrow.A group of centenarians want to climb the Matterhorn and then descend in wingsuits to celebrate one of their birthdays. This is the third event of this kind that Ive organised this year. Its as if these clients are spreading the word, and my business card.Sunshine, wind strength and the profile of each participant: I do all the safety checks. My lips tighten into a sneer.Healthy lunatics can be improved to live forever and even learn to fly. But is there no cure for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease that put you in a wheelchair? What kind of world was I born into, mum?

The first orange light of dawn reflects on my window.Im delaying my call toNecrosIA.My mother is probably already busy there, despite the early hour. She doesnt understand why I didnt come home to sleep, nor why I refuse to take over the running of the successful company that she built.

I sink into a dreamless sleep and wake up with a start.I instantly touch the small hollow behind my right earlobe. My skin feels smooth and soft, untouched.I let out a sigh, take a breath and begin our conversation.

Hi, mum?

I was waiting for your call.In fact, Im waiting for you. Will you come to my bedside?

Yes, but I dont agree with your decision.

Which decision? The one to die tonight, or the one to bequeath the business to you?

All of your decisions!

I couldnt help raising my voice. My phone asks if I want to switch to a video conference.I switch mode and my mother appears in her wheelchair, more curled up than ever. The three lights on the implant behind her ear are bright green, a sign that the nanorobot attached to the base of her brain will send its lethal instructions at the set time.

Look at me, Lydia, commands her synthetic voice.Look at me and you will see that I am at peace with my decision to end things.I will leave behind a healthy and successful multinational. Our transhumanism department is self-financing thanks to itsEthernitysection. When our customers start going crazy that they cant die naturally, they buy one of oureuthanisingrobots.Just in case.It gives them a sense of relief, an assurance that they can leave before they lose their minds.

Mum, it changes nothing for me.I know all that and I dont want it.

Lydia, you are the only one I trust.NecrosIAhas made only one error of judgement out of thousands of effectivekills. You must continue to improve the system.

Thats impossible, mum.Listen, I dont want to argue with you, especially today. You can force me to witness your suicide, but not to take on your role as general manager. All this money, these responsibilities, the media pressure

Its less risky than your work as a guide. You put your life in danger every day.

Her voice is distorted and her image starts to become blurred. Suddenly, I feel uneasy and then everything goes black. When I open my eyes, I find her in her executive chair, surrounded by the licence renewal committee. Her monotonous voice is unable to conceal a sense of triumph.

Dear committee, as you can see, followingher accident in the high mountains, my daughter wanted to stop living and activated the euthanasia process.A nanobot is lodged in her hypothalamus [in her brain] and is currently performing a series of tests. In her semi-conscious state, the subject reveals to us some of her deepest desires.Guided scenarios like the one you just witnessed feed our global database and refine our criteria for when granting authorisation to kill. The fact that she does not accept my own fictitious euthanasia decision is triggering a round of additional checks. All in all, our central artificial intelligence system that communicates with each nanobot is performing several trillion objective tests. If there is a tiny doubt, we keep the person alive.

Heads nod in approval.Roboticist, ethicist, doctor, psychologist their profiles are very diverse, but none of them noticed the triumph in my mothers penetrating gaze. Instead, they are focused on my shapeless body, which will no longer climb snow-capped peaks, and my implant, whose last small light refuses to go green.

The director gives a big wink and orders an autonomous stretcher to take me back to my gilded cage-like hospital room.Tomorrow, she will extract me to show me off to the press.

Go to hell, mum, you andNecrosIA!Nothing can keep me alive, except your excessive caution.

As a child,Tu Wstwanted to become an astronaut (what a clich!) or a garbage collector (an outdoor job. Great!).But after studying maths and sustainable computing, she is now working in public administration.Throughout these different twists and turns, several traits persist: a taste for science fiction and an unfailing optimism. As well as an accent, which is very Swiss.

Howrealisticis the story you just read?A 3D printed capsule, intended to be used for assisted suicide, couldsoonbe used legally in Switzerland.Read our article:

Ron Paul Endorses Ammon Bundy For Governor

Posted: at 11:34 am

Congressman Ron Paul has entered the Idaho Republican Gubernatorial Primary by endorsing Ammon Bundy for governor. The Bundy Campaign made the announcement Tuesday night. Paul appeared in a video saying, "He's doing very well, and he's a friend of liberty he's a strict constitutionalist, and I know he would make a great governor."

Ammon Bundy responded with a statement "I am honored to receive the endorsement of Ron Paul for my candidacy to be governor of the state of Idaho. Ron Paul is a living legend and an icon for conservative values and Constitutional purity."

Ammon Bundy for Governor Event

Bundy continued to explain Ron Paul's contribution to liberty and freedom in America. "For decades, Ron has been at the forefront of the fight for liberty, limited government, and the founding principles of our nation. There may be nobody alive today in American politics with more experience, understanding, and historical work for the advancement of these beloved causes than Ron Paul. I am humbled to have his endorsement for my campaign."

Paul's endorsement of Bundy is a signal to all libertarians that Bundy is their guy. Paul has been a tireless warhorse advocating for constitutional freedoms and a return to financial solvency. Idaho has a hidden yet strong libertarian influence in its politics. Idahoans are found of settling things on their own rather than relying on government solutions to Gem State problems.

Paul's endorsement of Bundy follows another high-profile endorsement from Roger Stone, a well-known presidential advisor. Stone has a history in presidential politics going back to his work in the Nixon White house.

The endorsement of Paul for Bundy, President Trump for Janice McGeachin signals that Idaho's political influence exceeds far beyond our Gem State borders.

There are several Treasure Valley restaurants that are offering Thanksgiving reservations this year if you're looking to celebrate the holiday away from home. Since there will be very few restaurants open overall on the holiday, you'll want to book a table at these spots sooner rather than later.

These days, it seems that everyone in Idaho is complaining about the amount of people moving to our state. The influx of residents is certainly real, but how often do we look at the folks moving OUT of Idaho? It's going on and these 12 states, by far, are "stealing" the most Idahoans away from us!
