Space Station – Galacticraft Wiki

Setting up a basic space stationEdit
After creating a space station and moving into it, the player will be given a default space station.
Default Space Station
A good way to start making the base a better place to live in is to build 1 room to set up oxygen production and sealing all exits. Setting oxygen distributors is not a good idea, because constant use of Air Locks will keep ruining the system. Instead of that, getting 2-4 oxygen compressors and a spare pair of oxygen tanks will be enough to keep the player alive.
This command allows the owner to add players to his space station. However, despite the fact that command says "/ssinvite", the invited player only receives the message that he was added to a certain person's space station. After being accepted, player can get into that station the same way he can access other planets.
This command is the exact opposite of "/ssinvite", meaning it removes selected player from the list of players who can access the base.

Chinese scientists recently revealed the history of domesticated peach.
The fuzzy fruit has been one of mankinds favourite treats for thousands of years. Today, the world produces 23 million tons of peaches and nectarines a year. China accounts for over half of global production, while Italy grows the most in Europe (1.5 million tons).
In 2013, the US produced one million tons of peaches, according to the Department of Agriculture. Georgia, the Peach State, is the third-largest producer (35,250 tons) grows half as much as South Carolina (69,650 tons).
But by far the largest producer is California (648,000 tons of fruit), where peach growers create 3,240 jobs and contribute $374 million to the states annual economy.

Peach and its close relatives stony fruits such as almonds, apricots, cherries and plums are important agricultural crops, providing vitamins and antioxidants in many diets. For example, researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health found that eating two peaches a week reduces the relative risk of breast cancer.
The fuzzy fruit is clearly valuable to our health and wealth. And by asking questions about its genetics, scientists are revealing why peaches are so appealing to us.
Where Do Peaches Come From?
According to historical records, domesticated peach originated in China and is at least 4,000 years old, although archaeological evidence suggests humans were eating wild fruits up to 7,000 years ago. Ornamental peach trees first appeared about 2,000 years ago. Peach spread to the West along the Silk Road and was once thought to have come from Persia, hence its scientific name, Prunus persica.
DNA is now providing further details of how peach was domesticated, and why its evolution continues to be shaped by man.

Human trial of Ebola vaccine to start this week

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
(CNN) -- A highly anticipated test of an experimental Ebola vaccine will begin next week at the National Institutes of Health, amid mounting anxiety about the spread of the deadly virus in West Africa.
After an expedited review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, researchers were given the green light to begin what's called a human safety trial, said Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
It will be the first test of this type of Ebola vaccine in humans.
The experimental vaccine, developed by the pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline and the NIAID, will first be given to three healthy human volunteers to see if they suffer any adverse effects. If deemed safe, it will then be given to another small group of volunteers, aged 18 to 50, to see if it produces a strong immune response to the virus. All will be monitored closely for side effects.
The vaccine will be administered to volunteers by an injection in the deltoid muscle of their arm, first in a lower dose, then later in a higher dose after the safety of the vaccine has been determined.
Some of the preclinical studies that are normally done on these types of vaccines were waived by the FDA during the expedited review, Fauci said, so "we want to take extra special care that we go slowly with the dosing."
The vaccine did extremely well in earlier trials with chimpanzees, Fauci said. He noted that the method being used to prompt an immune response to Ebola cannot cause a healthy individual to become infected with the virus.
Still, he said, "I have been fooled enough in my many years of experience... you really can't predict what you will see (in humans)."
According to the NIH, the vaccine will also be tested on healthy volunteers in the United Kingdom, Gambia and Mali, once details are finalized with health officials in those countries.
