How Right-Wing Radio is Killing the Republican Party. Rush, Hannity, Lavin, Ingraham, Savage, – Video

How Right-Wing Radio is Killing the Republican Party. Rush, Hannity, Lavin, Ingraham, Savage,
THIS IS HOW RIGHT WING radio pundits think. From an article from POLITICO: #39;Leading conservative talk show hosts Rush Limbaugh and Laura Ingraham are both arguing that the Republican party will or should be shut down if Mitt Romney loses in November -- an idea that, however hard to believe, gives you an indication of the right wing #39;s dissatisfaction with the Republican party. "If you can #39;t beat Barack Obama with this record, then shut down the party. Shut it down, start new, with new people. Because this is a gimme election, or at least it should be," Ingraham said on her radio program yesterday. "Election after election, we hire people who have lost previous campaigns, who have run campaigns that have failed, who have messaged campaigns where the message fell flat, and they keep getting re-hired." Where Ingraham made an argument, Limbaugh made a prediction: The Republicans would fall, but not before blaming the conservative base for their woes and opening a window for a third, more conservative party to take their place. "If Obama wins, let me tell you what it #39;s the end of: The Republican Party. There #39;s gonna be a third party that #39;s gonna be oriented toward conservatism. I know Rand Paul thinks libertarianism. And I know if Obama wins, the Republican Party is gonna try to maneuver things so conservatives get blamed," he said. "The only problem is, right now Romney #39;s not running a conservative campaign. But they #39;re gonna set it up to say, #39;Well, the right sat home, #39; or ...From:Uncle TheodorViews:0 1ratingsTime:08:38More inEducation

Paul's libertarian voice will be missed

Posted: at 6:41 pm

Published: Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 19:49 PM.

Ron Paul, the Texas congressman, is retiring. He took to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives Nov. 14 and gave a farewell speech, viewable on YouTube. Its a speech that is worth watching. When Paul leaves, he will take with him a principled libertarianism that provided a refreshing contrast to the traditional left-right arguments in Congress. While Paul is sometimes viewed as an uncompromising and even extreme libertarian-minded Republican, he often voices thoughts on government that would likely have Thomas Jefferson nodding in agreement. Now who will express such thoughts in Congress? Its not radical to say the federal government is running amok. Total federal debt has surpassed annual gross domestic product. The federal government is running annual deficits that exceed $1 trillion. Government extends its reach into virtually every area of American life. Paul has been a civil but firm voice criticizing the modern Leviathan. He has been at times a sole voice arguing with those who believe government is the solution to almost every problem. Paul butted heads with members of his own party when he opposed most of the war on terror and the Iraq War. Paul also vigorously opposed the federal governments main tool to root out terrorists the Patriot Act. Paul was in Congress for 23 years. He ran for president three times. Pauls main criticism of the two-party system is that no matter who is in federal power, the government seems to keep growing. Despite the improving U.S. standard of living, Paul told Congress last week, there has been damage done to the marketplace through more regulations and higher taxes. And much of U.S. wealth is based on debt. If the Republican Party is to expand its base, especially among young people and Hispanic voters, it needs to incorporate into its agenda more of Pauls love for individual freedom. Pauls views are really no more radical than those of Americas third president, said to be one of the founders of the Democratic Party. In 1801, Jefferson told the nation in his inaugural address that a wise and frugal government ... shall leave (people) otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government. At times, Paul seemed out of place urging Americans to return to a small-government philosophy. But as the debt and federal spending balloon, his ideas may gain a wider audience and exert more influence on the debate between Republicans and Democrats.

Alabama Fella Pretty Much Started Petition ‘Cause Fascist Gubmint Shut Down His Nudie Carwash

Posted: November 22, 2012 at 7:42 pm

Lots of red-blooded US Merkins love America so much they want to LEAVE IT (because Kenyan Mooslim Sharia Oppression and such). But one such patriot is a little more interesting! Sup, guy who started Alabamas secession petition Derrick Belcher, 45, of Chuncula? Blah blah libertarianism, RON PAUL!!!1!, freedom, not-racist, hard-working, etc. Oh yes, here it is:

Its economics - just that simple, he said. Im working poor. And I work - Ive never taken a dime from the government. Ill starve before I take a handout. Thats what being a true American is all about.

Belcher blamed the government for shutting down his former business. Belcher said his Euro Details car wash, which featured topless women, was successful for a decade on Halls Mill Road in Mobile. But he said he was arrested and charged with obscenity by city officials in 2001.

The government ripped my business away, and now theyre choking America to death with rules and regulations, he said.

Yes, Derrick B.! Seceding from the Union will stop Mobile, Alabama, officials from arresting you for washing automobiles with bare ladies boobies. If anything, it just makes too much sense!

Stop Sharia! Secede from Mobile, maybe?

Anthony Randazzo: What’s Next For Libertarians? – Video

Anthony Randazzo: What #39;s Next For Libertarians?
92yamericanconversation.org | Reason Foundation #39;s Anthony Randazzo recently spoke to us about the future of the libertarian movement following the 2012 election. Anthony had a lot of positive thoughts, highlighting the fact that a lot of people liked Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson but couldn #39;t bring themselves to vote for him since he didn #39;t have a chance of winning. Randazzo says the near future of libertarianism is not based in electoral politics but in grassroots and education based focus on expanding ideas of liberty. On the budget, libertarians are not hopeful that a balanced budget can be accomplished, as Anthony details his own failed efforts to find a way to a balanced budget through a roundtable of people with different political ideologies.From:92ndStreetYViews:0 0ratingsTime:03:52More inNews Politics
