Overhauling the Pokemon GO TM System | Pokemon GO Wiki – GamePress
Posted: at 12:46 pm
While this one doesnt fix the TM system per say, it is probably the most requested TMclass out there, and no discussion about TMs would be complete without it. Since Niantic announced that Dratinis Community Day move would not be TMable back in February 2017, players have been asking for a way to unlock event and/or legacy moves on an existing Pokemon. A special rare TM(or possibly HM [Hidden Machine]? Its not like TMs work this way in the main series, so they could bend the rules a bit here too) is the most likely solution.
This is a huge issue for many players. Have a good Pokemon? Better hold onto it for 6 months or more in case it gets a community day move. Caught a high-IV shiny Zapdos from a research breakthrough? Too bad it doesnt have its event move. Adding this type of TM, even if extremely rare, would give players substantially more confident in their choices, and make the game more forgiving in general.
Back in the summer of 2016, pretty much everyone played Pokemon Go, so everyone had the same opportunities from the start. Nowadays, new players are at a disadvantage as theyve missed out on countless events and legendary Pokemon, meaning theyre less likely to play for any length of time. While this is a mobile game and events come and go like with any other, the concept that its possible that Pokemon like Psystrike Mewtwo may never return to raids (though it very likely will) can be enough to make players returning to Pokemon Go stop after they realize just how much theyve missed. This system would at least give them some degree of hope that they can catch up, even if their road is harder than it was for those that were there for initial releases.
Legacy and Event Pokemon only have real value for one reason; their rarity. Without that, theyre just powerful Pokemon, even if theyre at the top of their niches. If they can be obtained at will, then this value evaporates as the window for obtaining them expands indefinitely.
Niantic doesnt run Pokemon Go for fun, they run it because it turns a very large profit. For every event, its a sure thing that Niantic looks at their profits for the period and compares it to profits at other times to see what sells well. Enter Community Days! The reason that Community Days are still around is obviously that theyre profitable for Niantic, so giving players a reason to not partake in them (and maybe buy some Pokecoins on the side) is just not good business sense. The other answer would be to make these special TMs available in the shop, but that will begin to turn a game thats largely fair to its free-to-play players towards a pay-to-win model.

Massive Growth in Talent Management Software Market Opportunities and Forecast, 2019-2024 – Market Report Gazette
Posted: at 12:46 pm
Talent Management Software (TMS) provides solutions to all workforce management needs, including performance management, strategic recruitment, and development. The talent management software package includes four key elements in hiring talent management. Learning and development; performance management; compensation management.
Traditionally, Human Resource Management Systems (HRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) aim to focus on the core management of the HR process. But the talent management program emphasizes long-term organizational goals and retention of top talent. It also helps in running strategic recruitment processes while protecting staff development and selecting the right people for the job.
The TMS market was invented through the continued adoption of advanced technology and dynamic HR practices. Growth in the TMS market is driven by the need for next-generation performance staff, process automation, and the need for better performance management across organizations. In addition, matching personal goals with the organization, team collaboration and feedback is another factor in the TMS market.
In addition, the need for global workforce communication, integration with social media for better management, and real-time workforce participation will strengthen the TMS market in the near future. However, the costs of TMS devices and ever-changing talent management practices hinder the growth of the global TMS industry.
The TMS market is evolving very rapidly, as there is a need to implement a better employee performance management system, and because of the cost-effective benefits of TMS, SMEs are looking to invest in TMS. A variety of major vendors launched new products on the market to meet these new needs. For example, IBM Corporation has launched the Kenexa solution that integrates the need for a smarter workforce, such as employee assessment and IO psychology, with a variety of solutions offered by the company.

A Big Thanks for all the Positive School Programs – NewportNow

To the Editor:
Tis the season to be thankful. And already this year, fifth grade teachers and students at Thompson Middle School (TMS) have a lot to be grateful for. Our school year has gotten off to a terrific start and Id like to thank a few people and organizations that were a big reason behind this.
First, Id like to thank Bridget Kubis and Jess Bornstein, from Save the Bay, for making the Marine Science Cruises happen for our students. So many of them expressed it as being the best day ever. It truly was a valuable, educational, and fun experience. It was amazing that you were able to get all eight of our classes out on the bay, and even Mother Nature cooperated, with her abundant sunshine and warm temperatures.
Next, are the folks at Seamens Institute. Thank you to Ann Souder and Tara Gnolfo for allowing us to visit the Discovery Deck and utilize space for our other stations as part of our field trip. One of our stations was a presentation with live lobsters done by Aimee Falso and her staff at Fish N Tales. Thank you for sharing some fascinating facts about lobsters that none of us knew. Climbing aboard the Oliver Hazard Perry was a huge hit with our students and was made possible by Bob Glover and the crew. Thank you.
Clean Ocean Access (COA), with Eva Touhey and Max Kraimer at the helm, provided our students with valuable information about how pollution enters our bay and other waterways. The watershed demonstration was an eye opener! Newport Harbor is so lucky to have a trash skimmer in its bay to help keep it and its creatures healthy. Special thank you to COA as well for the materials to create our awesome compost signs that were on display at the Broadway Street Fair, and now adorn the lawns of many Aquidneck Island families. We look forward to continuing to grow our knowledge about composting with Lauren Dixon and COA this year.
Our Active Service and Veterans Day assembly was such a tribute to the families at TMS who sacrifice so much for our country. Thanks to all of our honored guests for attending, as well as Rep. Marvin Abney our speaker, and the TMS Advanced Band for the music. Special thanks to Allie Nekrasz and June McGreavy for putting together the wreaths. We truly appreciate the front page coverage of the Newport Daily News, as well as the shout out from Newport this Week. Celebrating the positive things that happen daily in Newport Public Schools is so important and your papers help us shine.
Thank you also to the TMS PTO for sponsoring the Chris Poulos assembly, as well as all of the other support and enrichment that they provide to the teachers and students at TMS. We are lucky to have so many families and businesses in Newport that help support students in our schools.
Last but not least, thank you to the entire fifth grade team of teachers for their flexibility and support to allow schedule changes to their day so that all of these worthwhile things can happen. Students in Newport are lucky to have you.
