PLAY: Any Divisional Round Game to go to Overtime (+305 on BetRivers)

This is a boost that I think has excellent value and should be considered. No team is favored by more than 5.5 points, which calls for close games, and it feels like at least one would break through into the extra period. There were nine overtime games this year, one every other week, and 126 games that were decided by eight points or less out of the 544 games played in total. I like the chances that at least one goes to overtime!

PLAY: Duke, Wisconsin, Tennessee & Texas Tech to all Win (+400 on Caesars)

This is nice value, as it is a mix of teams that are supposed to win by a lot, and teams that are higher-ranked in close games. With how high some of the money lines are, I see this as Caesars organizing the plays together for us as opposed to them adding any value to the play. I still think it is a good play regardless.

PLAY: Stephen Curry & Klay Thompson to combine for 8+ Threes (+220 on DraftKings)

The Splash Bros. are back, and theyre poised to make a deep playoff run this year. Steph Curry was rested for the first clash with Detroit, but he has averaged 5.2 threes per game since the 2020-21 season. For the five years before his injuries, Klay Thompson never averaged under 3.1 threes per game, and while he has only been back four games, his three-point efficiency has been there. Look for them to game plan around the lackluster three-point defense of the Pistons (24th). I expect at least ten threes from the duo as Curry sat the last game out and is ready to light it up once again!

AVOID: Karl-Anthony Towns & Julius Randle to combine for 70+ points/rebounds (+240 on DraftKings)

This is a play with two of the best big men in the league, but the number is just too high. Their averages on the season add up to just under 65, and with the Knicks pace of play, I do not expect a crazy game from either of them. The Knicks also have Mitch Robinson at center, who is a tough draw for Towns. For these two players to combine for this total, I would want at least +400 odds.

The 2021-22 NBA season is nearing the All-Star break and now is a good time to take an updated look at Rookie of the Year odds. Detroit Pistons rookie Cade Cunningham and Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green were initially tabbed as the preseason favorites as the No. 1 and No. 2 overall picks but a lot has changed once the games started taking place.

Cleveland Cavaliers big man Evan Mobley and Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes have taken over the conversation for the NBAs best first-year player with their production and team success. The Cavaliers have shown theyre a playoff contender, while the Raptors will be in the mix for the play-in round at minimum.

Mobley is the frontrunner at -140 according to DraftKings Sportsbook. The big man is averaging 14.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game for the 27-18 Cavaliers, who are 1.5 games out of the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Mobley has managed to fit well with Clevelands other big men Jarrett Allen and Kevin Love, which has helped the team be successful.

Barnes was a questionable pick for the Raptors at No. 4 but has proved the doubters wrong. Hes averaging 14.5 points and 7.9 rebounds per game while maintaining his defensive prowess. Barnes could eventually become a strong shooter, which would further elevate him in this race. Hes currently +300 as the Raptors continue to hover around .500.

FanDuel Sportsbook opened it's doors to the public Friday. FanDuel Sportsbook is the first sportsbook to open in the City of Shreveport.

It was the day that had been long awaited and marked the first of its kind, as Sam's Town Casino officially opened the first sportsbook in the city of Shreveport. This milestone not only ushered in sports betting but also a sports lounge.

"This is a great opportunity for us to be the first in the market. As well as being first in the market to have a sports lounge where you can not only just make a bet, but you can actually sit and watch the game, drink a beer and have a good time," Michael Pastore, Vice President and General Manager for Sam's Town Casino said.

This lounge was made possible with the partnership fromFanDuel Sports, an American gambling company that offers sportsbook, daily fantasy sports, online casino and online horse race betting products.

"This is the only lounge like thisin the market," Mayor Adrian Perkins, Mayor of Shreveport said."I really love when Shreveport is the only in something or first in something."

Sports fans are nowable to place bets at thenewly designed 1,466 square footlocation that features three live betting windows, multiple self-service betting terminals, multiple video displays and seating for more than 20 guests.

Louisiana's first legal sports betting parlor opened in October of 2021 at the Paragon Casino Resort, ushering in the state's largest gambling expansion in three decades.

Erik Evenson with the Independence Bowl was the first person to cast a vote in thenew sportsbook lounge.Evenson made a $20 bet on the Cowboy's for this Sunday.

This is such great value for each quarterbacks favorite target. This same promo is on FanDuel, but it is only for +600. JaMarr Chase has come on in a big way this season, leading the team in touchdowns, and he also had a touchdown when these teams met head-to-head earlier this year, in which the Bengals won 32-13. This Raiders group has bonded since that game, as there have been drama, tragedy, and legal battles to deal with, but this only provided a chance for Hunter Renfrows role to expand. Look for any points the Raiders score to come from Renfrow or Daniel Carlson.

AVOID: Raiders & Patriots Both Win +800 (Caesars Sportsbook)

This is just not wise, in my opinion, to take two underdogs outright to win. For them to boost these odds to +800 is a trap, as parlaying the money lines away from the boost is +784. They are trying to raise the number of bets on the Raiders. While the Patriots are a decently popular underdog pick, they are paired with a team that is Americas darling right now, and I am sure is getting a lot of action. Avoid this boost if you even want to call it that.

PLAY: Cowboys Highest Scoring NFL Team 1/15-17 +900 (Caesars Sportsbook)

I found this one to be the most fascinating, as there werent any other teams to be compared to. This was the top offense in all of football, so at 9/1 odds, regardless of opponent, this is a good price to get the top offense to remain as such. They have a formidable opponent in San Francisco, but as we have seen, they are no stranger to allowing some points when there is good play-calling opposite them.

PLAY: Joe Burrow Over 20.5 Completions & Longest Completion Over 39.5 Yards +225 (Caesars Sportsbook)

Four of Joey Franchises last five games featured him completing 24 passes or more, which shows me that part of Burrows development is to have some games where they pass more than others. With that being said, they have realized that Burrows arm can be trusted for well over 40 attempts. Also, he completed 15 passes over 39.5 yards this season, which is essentially one per game. The combination of the reasonable completion number makes the price of +225 well worth it for us to spend to watch the Bengals young star sling it downfield!

NOLA got smacked 120-105 by the Nets in Brooklyn Saturday after winning its previous two games. In January, the Pelicans are 3-5 straight-up (SU), 4-4 against the spread (ATS) with a 3-5 Over/Under (O/U) record and the 20th-best net rating at minus-3.9.

Boston won its fourth in the past five games by beating the Chicago Bulls 114-112 Saturday but failed to cover as a 7.5-point home favorite. The Celtics are 5-3 SU, 2-6 ATS and 5-3 O/U with the ninth-best net rating at plus-4.7.

The Pelicans have won and covered their last three meetings with the Celtics.

Id lightlySPRINKLEon thePELICANS (+210) with the plan of betting more on their spread since thats the sharper play.

However, Im high on NOLAs starting 5, and the absence of Smart weakens Bostons already thin backcourt.

The Pelicans current starting 5 has a plus-10.2 points per 100 possessions adjusted net rating, according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).

In fact, NOLAs 5 starters grade in the 82nd percentile or higher in adjusted on/off net rating for their respective positions, per CTG.

Plus, Smarts replacement in the starting lineup, PG Dennis Schroder, grades in the 23rd percentile of point guards in assist rate (CTG).

Neither team is very deep as NOLAs bench ranks 25th in points per game (PPG) and Bostons ranks 28th. So, each teams starting 5 weighs heavily into this handicap for me.

The Pelicans get a much better shot quality than the Celtics. NOLA ranks 12th in location-effective field-goal percentage (eFG%) and Boston ranks 23rd in location eFG%, per CTG.

Again, only SPRINKLE on the PELICANS (+210) if at all because New Orleans plus the points is the better bet.

Definitely BET thePELICANS +6.5 (-112) heavier than or instead of their money line because they have been a lot more profitable than the Celtics lately.

The Pelicans had a four-game ATS winning streak snapped in the loss at the Nets, and the Celtics are 1-3 ATS in their last four games. Plus, Boston is just 8-11 ATS against sub.-500 teams, including 3-6 ATS at home in that situation.

NEW ORLEANS +6.5 (-112) is my favorite wager in this game.

LEAN to theUNDER 216.5 (-110).

The Pelicans are 5-13 O/U as road underdogs with a minus-4.7 total margin. The Celtics are 8-11 O/U as home favorites with a minus-3.3 total margin.

Also, both teams rank 20th or lower in pace. Each has a bottom-10 adjusted offensive rating, per CTG. The Celtics are 24th in eFG% and the Pelicans are 26th in eFG%.

LEAN UNDER 216.5 (-110) for a one-third unit only because my prediction is only a few points off of the projected total.

Theyre entering as the far healthier side, which has them listed as home favorites a situation theyre 5-7 ATS in.

PASS on the money line.

The Warriors are without too many key players to assume theyll pull off the road upset. For the sake of value on the Timberwolves, Id prefer to bet the spread.

BET on the TIMBERWOLVES -4.5 (-112).

The Warriors are just too injured at the moment.

Theyre the significantly better team at full strength, but the Warriors will be down three-time All-Star and DPOY candidate Draymond Greenand MVP candidate Stephen Curry.Its just too much to overcome.

The Wolves, on the other hand, have won 4 of their last 6. With defensive-minded Patrick Beverleylikely going to be on Jordan Poole, one of the Warriors premier scorers, Ill take the Wolves and the points.

The Warriors are 3-5 without Green on the court this season.

LEAN to the OVER 215.5 (-115).

The Warriors key defensive-minded players will be sidelined.

Payton II will be playing limited minutes it appears if he does take the court. Without Payton II or Green, Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards should be able to have their way.

That said, the Dubs league-best defense wont be as dominant. The Wolves Over has also hit in 3 of their last 4. The Warriors Over has hit in 2 of their last 3 and in 5 of their last 10.

Charlotte had a four-game win and cover streak snapped after losing to the Orlando Magic 116-109 Friday as an 11.5-point home favorite. The Hornets are 26-17 against the spread (ATS) with a 23-19-1 Over/Under (O/U) record.

New York has won and covered five of its past six games, including three straight. The latest victory was a 117-108 win over the Hawks in Atlanta as a 1.5-point road underdog. The Knicks are 21-22 ATS and 18-25 O/U.

The Hornets beat the Knicks 104-96 as 2.5-point home underdogs Nov. 12 in their only meeting this season with the Under cashing on a 225-point total.

BETtheKNICKS (-135)for 1.25 units because SG RJ Barretts improved play heightens their offensive ceiling, and they have a couple of edges in this matchup. They also have been playing better recently.

Since Jan. 2, New York has a plus-4.3 adjusted net rating (ranked ninth) and a plus-6.7 ATS margin (ranked sixth), according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG). During this span, Barrett is averaging 24.6 points per game (PPG) on 47.0% shooting, including 48.7% from behind the arc.

On the other hand, Charlotte has a plus-0.2 adjusted net rating (ranked 16th) and a minus-0.6 ATS margin (ranked 18th), per CTG.

New York has two strength-on-weaknessedges in its favor on the offensive glass and behind the arc.

The Knicks are seventh in offensive-rebounding rate and ninth in second-chance PPG. The Hornets are 25th in defensive-rebounding rate and allow the most second-chance PPG.

Furthermore, New York is top 10 in both 3-point attempts per game and 3-point shooting percentage, and is shooting better from deep this month. Charlotte ranks 29th in defensive effective field-goal shooting.

BETtheKNICKS (-135)for 1.25 units.

PASSbecause New Yorks money line isnt much more expensive than Knicks -2.5 (-107).

LEANto the OVER 216.5 (-115) for a half-unit unit. The Hornets like to push the tempo they rank second in pace and the Knicks will get into a back-and-forth game since they are shooting well from the field.

Also, theres been too big of an adjustment in the Hornets-Knicks total by the oddsmakers and/or market based on their first meeting.

The first Hornets-Knicks game this season went Under the 225-point total by 25 points. I agree an adjustment should be made, but 7.5 points is too many.

Its only aLEANto theOVER 216.5 (-115) because I prefer the New York money line more than the total and the Knicks have the slowest pace in the NBA.

The Philadelphia Eagles will enter as eight-point underdogs heading into their Wild Card road matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, but there are plenty of additional betting opportunities on DraftKings Sportsbook. Below is a look at some of my best bets for Eagles player props on Sunday.

Eagles running back Miles Sanders underwent surgery on his hand after Week 16 and is set to make his return to the field. The Buccaneers have a strong rushing defense, and Sanders not being 100% is a combination for this under rushing yardage total to cash.
