Several PGA Sportsbook Partners Accept Bets On Saudi-Backed LIV Tour – Sports Handle

Posted: June 11, 2022 at 1:00 am

The launch of the LIV Golf Invitational Series has unleashed a maelstrom in global professional golf unlike any during Phil Mickelsons three decades playing on the PGA Tour.

On Monday, Mickelson ended his four-month sabbatical from the sport when he signed a lucrative deal with the Saudi Arabian-backed tour for a reported sum of around $200 million. Mickelson said he used the time off for a period of reflection, during whichan unauthorized biography about the six-time major winner was published chronicling his lengthy history of heavy gambling both on the course through high-stakes practice rounds and at the window through large wagers on the NFL.

With Mickelson as the face of the breakaway tour, several major U.S. sportsbooks have begun to accept wagers on this weeks LIV series debut taking place Thursday-Saturday at the Centurion Club in London. Bettors can wager on the event at DraftKings and PointsBet, each of which ironically enough maintains an official sports betting partnership with the PGA Tour. FanDuel Sportsbook, another PGA sportsbook partner, is not accepting wagers on the event in the U.S., a spokesman told Sports Handle.

BetMGM, an official sports betting partner of the PGA Tour, did not accept wagers on the Centurion tournament on Thursday, but did offer live odds on the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed, a DP World Tour (formerly the European Tour) event in Sweden. Another prominent sportsbook operator, BetRivers, accepted wagers on the LIV golf event in Connecticut and Ontario.

When PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan met with several player agents last week at Muirfield Village Golf Club, he reportedly drew a red line concerning the eligibility of tour players who participate in LIV series events. Current PGA Tour players have the option of remaining on the tour or jumping to the Saudi-backed series, ESPN.com reported, but they cannot participate in both.

Launched in October 2021, the LIV series is backed by the Public Investment Fund, the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia. It ranks among the worlds largest funds, with total assets under management of about $600 billion. Greg Norman, a two-time major champion and a golf course designer, serves as the CEO of LIV Golf Investments, which is providing more than $400 million in seed money to launch the series.

It is unclear if the PGA Tour sought to have its official sportsbook partners refrain from offering betting on the inaugural LIV event. While U.S. books have posted odds on international, non-PGA Tour events in the past, it does not appear that there is contractual language in the agreements that preclude the PGAs sportsbook partners from booking action on rival leagues.

Representatives from two U.S. sportsbook operators told Sports Handle last week that they had not been advised by the PGA Tour on any betting matters related to the event at the Centurion Club.

When reached by Sports Handle on Tuesday, a PGA Tour spokesman declined comment.

Enticed by massive appearance fees and record purses, the LIV series also lured major champions Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia, Louis Oosthuizen, and Martin Kaymer, as well as Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter, and Kevin Na.

Still, Norman was unable to land a 20-something star such as Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm, or Jordan Spieth, all of whom have captured majors since 2016. The series reportedly targeted the biggest names in golf, as Mickelson noted that practically every player in the Top 100 of the world had been contacted at some point. More pointedly, Micklelson told author Alan Shipnuck that he enlisted three top players to join the series, although he did not name them.

In February, SuperBook Sports took betting action on the PIF Saudi Invitational, an Asian Tour event sponsored by the sovereign wealth fund. Despite a talented field that included Xander Schauffele, Cameron Smith, Tommy Fleetwood, Mickelson, and Johnson, the handle for the event paled in comparison to a typical PGA Tour tournament, said Jeff Sherman, vice president of risk management at SuperBook Sports.

For us, its like booking the NFL versus the USFL, Sherman said. Its just a minimal handle on all these other events.

Ahead of the Centurion event, the LIV series has yet to name an official betting partner. LIV Golf could also generate millions by outsourcing its in-game data feed to a third-party provider, as the PGA Tour has done with IMG Arena.

An LIV spokesperson did not respond to a request from Sports Handle for comment.

Although the series debut will be available with free livestreaming on LIVGolf.com, YouTube, and Facebook, the absence of a network broadcast partner could also affect handle, said Sherman, who serves as head golf oddsmaker at the SuperBook. For majors, the SuperBook offers a wide menu of offerings including Top 5, Top 10, and Top 20 finishers, head-to-head matchups, and in-house live odds. The SuperBook may limit LIV offerings this week to the outright winner only, Sherman indicated, due to lack of interest among bettors.

BetRivers, meanwhile, is offering a full menu of betting offerings on the London, event including:

There is some sentiment that large global corporations should not conduct business with LIV Golf, considering that Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman serves as the chairman of the Public Investment Fund. In March, Saudi Arabia authorized the execution of 81 men, according to Human Rights Watch, a New York-based non-governmental organization, in the kingdoms largest mass execution in years. Saudi Arabia also ranked 155th out of 165 jurisdictions in the Cato Institutes 2021 Human Freedom Index, which weighs factors such as the rule of law, security and safety, freedom of expression, the right to properly assemble, and property rights.

The CIA previously concluded that the prince ordered the assassination of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in October 2018, charges that Bin Salman has vehemently denied. The golf series is part of Bin Salmans Vision 2030 plan, one he believes has modernized Saudi Arabia with changes such as the legalization of cinemas and the abolition of a longstanding ban on women from driving.

Mickelson signed with LIV Golf despite his inflammatory comments concerning the Saudi regime months ago.

Theyre scary motherf***ers to get involved with, Shipnuck reported Mickelson told him in November 2021. We know they killed Khashoggi and have a horrible record on human rights. They execute people over there for being gay. Im not sure I even want [LIV Golf] to succeed.

From a commercial perspective, some parallels can be drawn between the reported human rights violations in Saudi Arabia and Russias invasion of Ukraine. U.S. sportsbooks generally stopped taking action on Russian sports events after Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion in late February.

Sports bettors who are appalled by the Saudi kingdoms record on human rights may respond by boycotting the new golf series. Following the London opener, there are seven other events on the 2022 schedule, including five in the U.S.

Its not being played in [the Saudi] regime, its being played in London that could be a differentiator, a spokesperson for a major U.S. sportsbook operator said of the opener.

While participating golfers were mostly reticent to tackle questions on the Saudi regime this week, one tried to separate the athletic endeavors from the moral issues surrounding the kingdom.

If we tried to cure geopolitical situations in every country we play golf in, we wouldnt play a lot of golf, said Graeme McDowell, of Northern Ireland, at a Tuesday press conference.

Mickelson still intends to participate in golfs majors, beginning with this months U.S. Open in Brookline, Massachusetts, on June 16. Johnson, the 2016 U.S. Open winner, receives an exemption for the national championship through at least 2025. On Tuesday, the USGA added a wrinkle to the ongoing narrative when it allowed qualified players who were participating in the London event to remain in the U.S. Open field.

Mickelson, who skipped The Masters and the PGA Championship, last played on the PGA Tour in January when he missed the cut at the Farmers Insurance Open. At SuperBook Sports, Mickelson has odds of 30/1 to win this weeks event in London.

Mickelson has steeper odds than Sam Horsfield, Justin Harding, and Matt Jones, none of whom has notched a Top 10 finish in a major. The trio have five European Tour wins combined, along with only two victories on the PGA Tour. Mickelson is tied for eighth all-time in PGA Tour career victories with 45.

When youre away from the game that long, youre not going to step in and be that competitive, Sherman told Sports Handle.

The SuperBook has installed Johnson as the favorite at 5/1, followed by Talor Gooch and Oosthuizen, at 9/1 and 10/1, respectively. Johnson is also favored to win the event at DraftKings.

DraftKings is taking action on the event in a handful of jurisdictions, including Arizona, Ontario, Connecticut, and Wyoming. As of Wednesday morning, a decision on whether to allow bets on LIV Golf had yet to be made public by the Colorado Division of Gaming.

Each of the first seven events has a purse of $25 million, with the season finale in Miami doubling the amount to $50 million. On Wednesday, SI.com reported that major winners Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Reed are set to join LIV Golf for the first U.S. event at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in Portland on June 30. LIV Golf has events scheduled in three states with legalized sports betting: Illinois, New Jersey, and Oregon.

IGT and SuperBook expand sportsbook platform partnership to a fourth state with Tennessee – Yogonet International

Posted: at 1:00 am

International Game Technology (IGT) announced Wednesday it has extended its partnership with operator SuperBook Sports to Tennessee, where the IGT PlaySports platform is powering the SuperBook Sports mobile betting app.

This is the fourth state where IGT and SuperBook Sports have teamed up to deliver a performance-driving sports betting solution. SuperBook Sports is currently leveraging IGT PlaySports technology to power retail and mobile betting in Colorado, and mobile betting in New Jersey and Arizona.

The Tennessee Sports Wagering Advisory Council (TSWAC) cleared SuperBook, affiliated with the Las Vegas Hilton and Westgate resorts, to run online sports betting operations in March.

In an official press release, Jay Kornegay, SuperBook Executive Vice President, spoke about this expanded alliance and said: "Over the last two years, IGT PlaySports has played a strategic role in helping SuperBook Sports engage sports fans across the U.S. and achieve our growth goals. We're excited to bring the SuperBook Sports mobile betting app to Tennessee and to introduce players throughout the State to our signature promotions and highly competitive, localized sports betting offering."

Joe Asher, IGT President of Sports Betting, added: "Given SuperBook Sports' roots and legacy in Nevada, we've had an opportunity to watch the enterprise grow from a single, iconic location in Las Vegas, to a growing multi-state sportsbook operator. The IGT PlaySports-powered sportsbook that SuperBook created for Tennessee can scale for any market opportunity and evolve in parallel with player preferences and behaviors."

IGT was recently named Sports Betting Platform Provider of the Year in the 2021 SBC North America Awards, with a sports betting footprint spanning 20+ U.S. states and into Canada. It also became the first US supplier to receive G4 responsible gaming accreditation for sports betting in April this year.

How to Make a 2022 NFL Futures Bet at a Sportsbook: Team Win Totals – BettingPros

Posted: at 1:00 am

The summer is here, and the start of the NFL season will be here before we know it. Now is the time to start digging into NFL futures, both for team futures and player futures. NFL futures can be great ways to profit during the upcoming season. Well have you covered throughout the offseason with updated news and odds for all futures and Week 1 odds. Lets take a look at how to make a 2022 NFL futures bet at a sportsbook.

Check out our NFL Futures Betting Guide >>

What are Team Futures?

Futures refers to any team-based wager for a future event or a result. These bets often do not pay out until weeks or even months from when they are originally placed. Bets for Win Totals and the Super Bowl winner are good examples of team futures bets.

What are Player Futures?

Player futures refer to any player-based wager for a future event or a result. These bets often do not pay out until weeks or even months from when they are originally placed. Most player futures are built around a specific statistic, where bettors determine whether that player will come in above or below the oddsmakers total. They often open with odds at -110 but are adjusted based on where the majority of bets are placed.

Types of futures bets

Futures markets offer a wide variety of betting opportunities. They differ between sportsbooks but many sportsbooks offer at least a few of the same type of futures bets. The most common are championship winner, division/conference winner, and end-of-season awards. Sportsbooks also offer season-long win totals and specials such as who will be the first coach fired or who will be the first overall pick. The most popular NFL futures markets are Super Bowl Winner and Most Valuable Player. These odds are released early in the NFL offseason and fluctuate constantly up until the start of the NFL season and after each week of games. The NFL draft has seen a growing futures market that can be very profitable. Sportsbooks give odds on a ton of NFL draft-related events such as over/under pick number, how many cornerbacks will be drafted in the first round, what position will the Patriots select, etc. Another market dripping with value is season-long player props.

Futures odds

Oddsmakers have to assign a probability to every event in the futures market. They use a lot of strategies to do this and the process can be technical and objective or for a market such as Will Kirk Cousins be the Vikings quarterback next year, the process can be subjective and include a lot of guesswork. This provides opportunities to find value for bettors. If the Buccaneers have implied odds of 15% to win the Super Bowl, but you give them a 20% chance, then there is value on betting the Buccaneers in the futures market.

Sports betting in Texas: When it will be legalized, how to bet online, where to find picks, optimal promos – CBS Sports

Posted: at 1:00 am

Online sports betting is sweeping the country, and sports fans in Texas are eagerly waiting to see if their state will be the next to legalize it. Efforts to legalize online sports betting in the Lone Star State were squashed in 2021, but some experts believe Texas online sports betting could become a reality in 2023, and one of the most successful spots for online sportsbooks in the country. There is even one candidate for governor who said he will back online sports betting in Texas if he is elected. Texans love their sports teams, so there is no doubt Texas online sportsbooks would be very successful. With so many sports to watch and wager on, online sportsbook sign-up offers and online sportsbook promotion codes are bound to be very popular.

Before Texas online sportsbooks get the go-ahead, new bettors should be familiar with common online sportsbook terminology. Here is a guide to sports betting terms from our friends at SportsLine that will help you get ready in case Texas online sportsbooks become a reality.

There are several ways you can make sports wagers both online and in retail sportsbooks and plenty of bet types you'll want to familiarize yourself with.

Proposition bet: Want to bet on something other than the score of a game? A prop bet is a wager on a given outcome within a game or match other than the final score. For example, a prop bet in pro baseball could be on whether a player for Texas hits a home run, or whether a starting pitcher for Houston can make it through seven innings in a big game.

Live-betting: Texas online sportsbooks of the future will let you wager on your favorite sports in real-time thanks to live in-game odds updates. During the baseball season, online sportsbooks in Texas will let you wager on live-updated totals or even the outcome of the next at-bat. With both Houston and Texas playing competitive baseball, there will always be an opportunity for Texas sports fans to place exciting live bets on the home teams.

Over-under: This betting method is perfect for when you think a game or match will have a very high or very low score, like in pro basketball. Sportsbooks will set a total number of points expected for a game and then bettors decide which side of that number the combined scores will land on. So, if the over-under for a pro basketball playoff game between Boston and Golden State is 200, you can bet on whether the total of the two scores will be more or less than 200.

If you're looking for the best values on the board in Texas or elsewhere, be sure to check out SportsLine, which specializes in Vegas picks, DFS advice and season-long fantasy sports projections.

Toronto Blue Jays at Detroit Tigers odds, picks and predictions – USA TODAY Sportsbook Wire

Posted: at 1:00 am

The Toronto Blue Jays (33-23) head to Comerica Park Friday to start a 3-game set with the Detroit Tigers (23-33). First pitch for the series opener set for a 7:10 p.m. ET. Lets analyze Tipico Sportsbooks lines around the Blue Jaysvs. Tigers odds with MLB picks and predictions.

Toronto is 7-3 straight up (SU) over the last 10 games, which includes a 3-game sweep of the Chicago White Sox, a 2-1 series loss to the Minnesota Twins and a 2-1 series win over the Kansas City Royals.

Detroit is 6-4 SU in the last 10, winning an interleague set at the Pittsburgh Pirates Tuesday-Wednesday after being swept by the New York Yankees, which followed the Tigers taking 4 of 5 games from the Twins.

Fridays Blue Jays-Tigers meeting will be their 1st of the year.

RHP Jose Berrios vs. RHP Elvin Rodriguez

Berrios is 4-2 with a 5.24 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, 2.5 BB/9 and 7.8 K/9 in 56 2/3 IP over 11 starts.

Rodriguez is 0-1 with a 10.13 ERA (16 IP, 18 ER), 1.69 WHIP, 3.9 BB/9 and 7.9 K/9 across 3 starts vs. the Twins (road), Cleveland Guardians (home) and the Yankees (road) and 1 bullpen appearance.

Tigers 6, Blue Jays 5

SPRINKLEon theTIGERS (+180)with the plan of hitting their RL harder since the Blue Jays (-230) are overpriced because Berrios is on the hill.

Berrios inked a fat, new extension this offseason but has underperformed thus far. He ranks 346th out of 356 tracked pitchers in barrel rate (per Statcast) and grades in the 5th percentile or worse in expected ERA, expected batting average, wOBA and slugging percentage slash line.

Detroits RL is the sharper wager but theres some value in theTIGERS (+180).

BET1 unit on theTIGERS +1.5 (+110).

The Blue Jays are just 6-10 RL as road favorites while being 10-6 SU.

Not only is Berrios getting too much love but Torontos bullpen is mediocre. The Blue Jays relievers have a 4.00 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and the 5th most blown saves (10).

Detroits bullpen has the 2nd-best ERA (2.78) and WHIP (1.09) and should be rested since Thursday was an off-day. The Tigers are 4-2 RL when playing after 1 day off.

Even if Rodriguez gets raked by Torontos lineup or Detroits lineup doesnt hit Berrios, theTIGERS +1.5 (+110) could still sneak through the backdoor vs. Torontos suspect bullpen.

PASS.

Lean to the Over 8.5 (-135) because neither starter has looked sharp this year and the Blue Jays are 8-3 O/U in Berrios 11 starts.

But, there are a bunch of Under-friendly trends including Detroits 15-26 O/U record as an underdogand the Blue Jays-Tigers going Under in their last 4 meetings in Detroit.

How a Bettor Turned $25 Into $6,200 With a Same Game Parlay on DraftKings Sportsbook – DraftKings Nation

Posted: at 1:00 am

A DraftKings Sportsbook bettor had a massive night on Monday, nailing all five picks for a big payout. Focusing on the New York Mets at San Diego Padres game, the bettor turned $25 into $6,200 with a Same Game Parlay on DraftKings Sportsbook.

The bettor made the following picks at +24700 odds:

The bettor got off to a fiery start, as Eduardo Escobar not only recorded a hit, he ended up hitting for the cycle. It was only the 11th time a Mets player hit for the cycle in Mets history and only the second time this season a player hit for the cycle in MLB. Milwaukee Brewers OF Christian Yelich is the only other player to hit for the cycle in 2022.

The bettor also chose to attack a Blake Snell/Jorge Alfaro stolen base combination. This was not the most ideal duo to attack on paper, as both Snell and Alfaro have been slightly above average at preventing stolen bases for their careers. Snells career caught stealing percentage is 30%, and Alfaros is 29%. The league average is about 27%. However, the bettor banked on Marte and Lindors speed along with the Mets aggressiveness on the bases. Marte and Lindor are tied for 12th in MLB in stolen bases with eight each, and the Mets have been more aggressive on the bases this season under a new coaching staff led by Buck Showalter.

Marte chose to run on an 87 mph Snell change up, which gave him a little extra time to secure the stolen base in the first inning. Snells fastball averages about 95 mph. Snells change up also had 28 inches of vertical drop and 16 inches of horizontal fade, compared to about 10 inches of vertical drop and eight inches of horizontal movement on his fastball. The slower velocity and added movement gave Marte more margin for error in getting a good jump on Alfaros throw.

The Mets ended up teeing off on the Padres for 11 runs on 16 hits, with Escobar, Lindor and Canha combining for seven hits.

Colorado Rockies at San Diego Padres odds, picks and predictions – USA TODAY Sportsbook Wire

Posted: at 1:00 am

The Colorado Rockies (25-32) open a 4-game road series against the San Diego Padres (35-22) Friday. First pitch is scheduled for 9:40 p.m. ET at Petco Park. Lets analyze Tipico Sportsbooks lines around the Rockies vs. Padres odds with MLB picks and predictions.

This will be the first matchup between the two teams this season. The Rockies won the season series 11-8 last year but were 4-6 in San Diego.

The Rockies finished the first leg of their 7-game, 6-day road trip by taking 2 of 3 games from the San Francisco Giants. They lost 4 straight games heading into that series.

The Padres won the final 2 games of their 3-game series against the New York Mets to pick up a series win and have won 5 of their last 6 contests.

RHP Chad Kuhl vs. RHP Joe Musgrove

Kuhl (4-2, 3.17 ERA) makes his 11th start. He has a 1.26 WHIP, 3.3 BB/9 and 6.8 K/9 through 54 IP.

Musgrove (6-0, 1.64 ERA) makes his 11th start. He has a 0.92 WHIP, 1.9 BB/9 and 8.7 K/9 through 66 IP.

Padres 5, Rockies 2

PASSon the money line.

The Padres have been dominant with Musgrove and he is rolling, having allowed only 1 run in his last 3 starts.

San Diego is only 15-11 at home but Colorado is 9-16 on the road. Only 3 teams have fewer road wins in all of baseball, so a Padres win seems almost certain, but it isnt worth the action at -250.

Win your fantasy baseball league with BaseballHQ.com. For decades, BHQ has been helping players just like you win! Use the couple codeSBW22 for 20% OFF full-season subscription. New customer offer; expires 6/30/2022. Subscribe today and start winning!

The Rockies are 27-30 ATS and the Padres are 32-25 ATS overall. The Rockies are 12-13 ATS on the road and the Padres are 9-17 ATS at home. Only 2 teams have fewer covers at home.

The Padres have won 7 of Musgroves 10 starts by at least 2 runs and their last 5 wins have been by at least 2 runs.

The Rockies last 2 losses were only by 1 run but their previous 4 defeats were by multiple runs.

Both pitchers are playing well, but the Rockies have the second-worst bullpen ERA in the majors at 4.95.

Take the PADRES -1.5 (-110).

Five of Musgroves last 6 starts have had fewer than 8 runs.

Six of Kuhls last 7 starts and 8 of 10 overall have had totals of fewer than 8 runs.

Half of the Padres last 10 games have had 7 or fewer runs.

Take UNDER 7.5 (-115).

Are NJ Sportsbooks Ready For New Two-Factor Authentication Rules? – Legal Sports Report

Posted: at 1:00 am

New Jersey sportsbooks must beef up their security by the end of June under incoming regulations from the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE.)

The regulator issued guidelines (N.J.A.C. 13:69O-1.1) in March, ordering NJ sportsbooks to implement Two-Factor or Multi-Factor Authentication (2FA or MFA.)

The regulation is primarily designed to stop hackers seizing control of sportsbook accounts and trying to bet or withdraw the funds.

The vast majority of the publics login information is out there for the right price, said Tom Hill, head of sports betting and iGaming at identity firm Prove.

Or you can pull it together if you know where to look. This is about keeping existing accounts secured.

Bettors could be faced with several options upon login, including:

The challenge for operators is to find the perfect balance, Hill said. How do they provide security without added friction?

Bettors will then have to authenticate every two weeks under the NJ regulations.

So are sportsbooks ready for the change? Leading operators like FanDuel and DraftKingsalready implemented 2FA. Remaining NJ sportsbooks will have followed suit by the end of June, Hill said.

I think theyre pretty ready, Hill added. That said, it is a constant process of iteration in the fraud/risk space, so there will always be evolution.

No operators have indicated to DGE they will not be able to comply with the required action, LSR understands.

Indeed, Hill said operators had shown themselves to be extremely forward-thinking and innovative in their approach to MFA.

Id give them and the ecosystem a lot of credit in solving this, Hill said. Other industries have legacy systems and blockades to the right solutions. But the sports betting and gaming space, its refreshing to see them moving the ball forward and providing the best experience for the players. It is a juxtaposition to other sectors we work with like banks, healthcare, retail.

No other states have yet implemented similar MFA requirements, but Hill suggested many states will likely follow suit.

On that front, a national solution might be more technologically straightforward than a state-by-state approach.

MFA could also help reduce incidences of proxy betting, Hill said, though not all systems stop it.

US sports betting has seen two proxy betting scandals this year: Calvin Ridley betting in Florida from out-of-state, and a Florida VIP betting via DraftKings in New Jersey.

French Open Odds: Picks and Predictions to Consider on DraftKings Sportsbook for the Mens and Womens Finals – DraftKings Nation

Posted: June 5, 2022 at 2:19 am

Were down to two in both singles brackets at Roland Garros! The womens and mens French Open finals take place on Saturday and Sunday respectively, and Im back with more picks to finish the tournament. This time around, Im highlighting one bet I see the most value in on DraftKings Sportsbook for each of the championship matches.

DraftKings users can get in on the action by betting on DraftKings Sportsbook or by downloading the DK Sportsbook app.

Im picking against Casper Ruud in this matchup, but its necessary to acknowledge how impressive this run to his first Grand Slam final has been. Ruud dealt with adversity on a multitude of occasions and always rose to meet the challenge.

Unfortunately for Ruud, the king of clay awaits him in the final. That is one obstacle he likely cannot overcome.

There are so many reasons to like Nadal in this matchup. The 13-time French Open champion will be entering the title match well-rested after a scary ankle injury to Alexander Zverev forced him to concede. Looking at the last three opponents that Rafa has faced, Ruud might actually be the least difficult to defeat.

Entering Roland Garros, there were significant concerns about Nadals chronic foot injury. However, Rafa has seemed to gain strength with every round he advances. He should have no problem handling Ruud and claiming his 22nd Grand Slam title on Sunday.

Place your bets at DraftKings Sportsbook or by downloading the DK Sportsbook app.

Coco Gauffs journey to the French Open final has been extremely impressive. The 18-year-old will become the youngest woman to reach a Grand Slam final since Maria Sharapova in 2004 the moment she steps on the court Saturday.

Unfortunately for Gauff, shes about run into the buzzsaw that is Iga Swiatek. Iga enters the womens final on an incredible 34-match win streak, looking to claim her second Grand Slam title.

While we would all love to see a competitive final, its likely that Swiatek gets this done in straight sets. The 21-year-old has dropped just one set throughout this entire tournament, and is coming off dominant victories over Jessica Pegula and Daria Kasatkina.

As long as Swiatek avoids a tiebreak with Gauff, her game total should remain under 12 games en route to the French Open title.
