Millions of football fans know and love Terry Bradshaw from his pregame antics on Sunday mornings, and he carries that same infectious spirit into his show on the Strip, The Terry Bradshaw Show. Its a combination of songs and storytelling, with an audience Q&A.

Over 70 incredibly entertaining minutes, Bradshaw, with the help of a live band and backup singers Anne Martinez and Lorena Peril (who both also perform in Fantasy on the same stage), makes it clear that football is only one of his loves. At his heart, he wants to entertain people. So yes, youll get lots of football stories, and yes, youll hear a lot about how football was better in the good old days. But youll also hear a singing voice that has delivered a Billboard hit in 1976 with Lonesome. Bradshaw clearly loves country, but he also belts out some great blues and Everly Brothers classics.

The Q&A is reason enough to buy a ticket; Bradshaw is very quick on his feet, and ready to take any question that comes his way. He may shock you with his candor, but thats who Bradshaw is.

So much for the whole talking point about the gap between the worst teams and the best teams in the NFL having never been wider.

That was a narrative over the last few weeks as the season neared its midway point without a single big upset. But for the first time in nearly 11 months since the winless Jets shocked the Rams in Week 16 last year an underdog of more than two touchdowns prevailed in Week 9.

The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Buffalo Bills 9-6 as 14.5-point underdogs to resurrect the any given Sunday mantra. As if that wasnt enough, the Broncos clobbered the Cowboys 30-16 while getting 10 points on the spread for a pair of double-digit underdogs winning outright on the same day.

It was quite the change from just two weeks prior, as before the Jets Week 8 upset of the Bengals, there hadnt been an underdog of more than 7 points emerge victorious all season.

Will the craziness continue in Week 10? Lets try to find out while building on the last weeks success of the plays (3-1) and trying to bounce back from a poor overall performance (6-8) to bring the season record picking every game against the spread to 69-66-1.

Read below for picks on every Week 9 game. Picks are separated into three confidence categories and listed in rough order of confidence. Lines are the best currently available in Las Vegas on the chosen side.

Plays (27-19)

Seattle Seahawks +3.5 at Green Bay Packers The rest of the Seahawks team has improved in the absence of quarterback Russell Wilson, whos now expected to return, while theres still uncertainty regarding the status of Packers counterpart Aaron Rodgers. Best-case scenario, Rodgers gets cleared Saturday and returns with no practice. That made Seahawks +6 earlier in the week one of the best bets of the year, and though that number is long gone, theyre still playable to +3.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -9.5 at Washington Football Team Last years playoff game between these two teams featured a closing number of Tampa Bay -10, which felt fair considering the 30-22 final score. The Buccaneers have been better this year than they were entering the playoffs last year, and the Football Team has been worse, so theres no reason the line should be even a half-point lower.

New Orleans Saints +3 at Tennessee Titans The Saints continue to have a statistical profile they rank in the NFLs top 10 by both Football Outsiders DVOA and net EPA (expected points added) per play that's much better than conventionalwisdom dictates. The Titans continue to have a statistical profile ranking just outside the top 10 in both aforementioned measures that's much worse than conventional wisdom dictates.

San Francisco 49ers +4 vs. Los Angeles Rams Making one last attempt to buy low on the 49ers, which have deserved better results than the 3-5 record theyve compiled this season. San Francisco is at 5.2 expected wins based on Football Outsiders efficiency metrics despite facing one of the toughest schedules in the league so far.

Leans (22-25)

Buffalo Bills -11.5 at New York Jets The Bills offense is innately a high-variance unit, largely given quarterback Josh Allens intermittent accuracy issues, so resist the urge to put too much into the loss to the Jaguars. It would be no surprise if Allen bounces back a week later by being on point with his deep ball and the Bills light up the scoreboard against a Jets defense ranked dead-last in the league by DVOA.

Dallas Cowboys -9 vs. Atlanta Falcons Atlanta is 4-2 in games decided by a touchdown or less, including 3-1 in games decided by less than six points, meaning a lot of good fortune has gone its way to stay in the wild-card race. The Falcons are still one of the weaker teams in the league, and despite the Cowboys ugly 30-16 loss to the Broncos as 10-point favorites, theyre one of the best.

Las Vegas Raiders +3 vs. Kansas City Chiefs Anything below 3 and Kansas City -2.5 is the more widely available price would relegate this to a guess. The Chiefs, specifically their offense, may yet wake up and rediscover their greatness, but over the last month, theres no disputing that the Raiders have been the more efficient and even more explosive team.

Guesses (20-22-1)

Denver Broncos -2.5 vs. Philadelphia Eagles This spread makes perfect sense based solely on both teams efficiencies so far, but Denver may still deserve a little extra boost for home-field advantage at elevation. The pick is much trickier at -3, so it would be wise to grab one of the couple remaining -2.5s while theyre available.

Baltimore Ravens -7.5 at Miami Dolphins The number looks exactly right, but its hard not to give the Ravens the benefit of the doubt in a plus matchup. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson threw for 324 yards and five touchdowns in a 59-10 win in his only career meeting against the Dolphins two years ago, and the home teams defense, particularly in the secondary, isnt all that different now.

Jacksonville Jaguars +10.5 at Indianapolis Colts The lookahead line on this game was an identical Indianapolis -10.5, meaning Jacksonville got no positive adjustment for its upset of the Bills. The victory may have merited at least a half-point.

Carolina Panthers +10.5 at Arizona Cardinals Last weeks line moved as much as 8.5 points away from the Cardinals as it became apparent that Colt McCoy would start at quarterback for the injured Kyler Murray. A lot went Arizonas way to ensure a 31-17 victory over San Francisco including recovering all three of the games fumbles. The fact that theres still little clarity on Murray's status and the line is moving in Arizonas favor this week might be an overreaction to a one-game sample.

New England Patriots -1.5 vs. Cleveland Browns This line opened at New England -2.5, and though a one-point move to -1.5 is usually insignificant, the initial price was more accurate in this situation. Clevelands offense has struggled against the top defenses its faced namely Arizona and Pittsburgh and New England might have the best one its seen so far this season.

Pittsburgh Steelers -8.5 vs. Detroit Lions Pittsburgh had an awful performance on Monday Night Football, getting outgained by 3 yards per play in a controversial 29-27 win over Chicago as 7-point favorites, but thats making for a value price this week. If the Steelers maintained their 10-point fourth quarter and cruised to a victory, this number would likely be at 10.

Los Angeles Chargers -3 vs. Minnesota Vikings Theres not a single team-strength advanced metric that would paint the Chargers as a better team than the Vikings, but theres also no quantifying the extent of the coaching edge between Brandon Staley and Mike Zimmer. The Vikings are also traveling to the west coast as part of back-to-back road games, a situation where NFL teams traditionally struggle.

Vegas pick'em: NFL Week 10 winners against the spread - Las Vegas Sun

Over the past 20 years, the Las Vegas skyline has advanced from kinda weird to kinda gorgeous. The Wynns glass towers, CityCenter and the High Roller changed what was fundamentally a city of trifurcated rectangles and one observation tower into a varied assortment of shapes, textures and colors as fanciful as anything built with Lego.

Try the Twilight ($25), a silken mix of No. 3 London Dry Gin, Crme de Violette, Chambord, lemon, egg white and simple syrup. Or, if this observation lounge has you feeling extra-observational, get an Old Fashioned mixed at tableside. They also offer a wide-ranging wine list and a selection of champagnes.

The small-plates menu offers plenty of savory points of entry, from garlicky brown butter lobster rolls ($25) served in toasted brioche; Wagyu beef sliders ($21) with baby gem lettuce, caramelized onions, aged cheddar, tomato and remoulade; or blackened watermelon with goat cheese cream, cucumber relish and a red wine reduction.

Whether you end your visit with yuzu cheesecake ($13) or simply by admiring the Andy Warhol portrait of Lady Diana Spencer that adorns the entryway, be sure to step out to the patio and admire how far weve come. Starlight on 66 puts two decades of Valley growth into a stunning frame.

Ramsey Hardy would go to both of his sons basketball games when they played the same night. Amauris at UNLVs Thomas &Mack Center. Jadens at Coronado. Two gyms. One night. Didnt matter. He wouldnt miss either one.

But on Wednesday night, he could finally watch both of them play at one venue: Mandalay Bays Michelob Ultra Arena.

As teammates. As professionals.

As a parent, you dream of it. Its a blessing, the eldest Hardy said. There couldnt have been a better spot.

The Hardy brothers came home. Now as guards for G League Ignite, a second-year program based in Walnut Creek, California, designed as a developmental alternative for top pro prospects like Jaden. He committed to G League Ignite in May, bypassing the conventional college path as one of the top prospects in the 2022 NBA draft.

Amauri in September became the first college player to sign with Ignite after concluding his amateur career at Oregon.

The team is playing eight de facto home games in Las Vegas this season because of the Hardys. Ignite fell 115-101 to the Agua Caliente Clippers Tuesday night in its local debut.

Jaden had 24 points, seven rebounds and four steals, Amauri 13 points and six rebounds. Ramsey watched with pride.

They have each other to talk to. To look back and talk about different situations and different things, Ramsey said. And to build with each other and to be able to train with each other.

Amauri and Jaden were four grades apart, thereby limiting their opportunities to play organized basketball together. Amauri emerged in their native Detroit as a Division I prospect. Jaden hoped to follow suit and emulate his older brother along the way.

They played on the same summer league team before Amauris senior year of high school. But they wouldnt have the opportunity to be teammates again, save for informal settings like pickup games.

All the while, Amauri played at UNLV from 2017 until 2020, blossoming into an All-Mountain West guard before concluding college with one final year at Oregon. Jaden played at Coronado, emerging as the top guard prospect in the graduating class of 2021 before signing with Ignite.

Amauri learned within a few weeks of Jadens commitment that he, too, would have the opportunity to play with Ignite, should he so desire. The developmental aspect appealed to the elder Hardy, but so too did the opportunity to finally play alongside his younger brother.

Its really like a two for one, especially for my family, Amauri said. I can help him, being that Ive played and have had experience playing basketball especially in college. Being a brother, its different from hearing from a coach or a teammate. I can talk to him and give him a different perspective. He trusts my expertisehelping him see the game from a different lens.

The youngest Hardy said playing with his older brother isnt necessarily different, per se. Sure, theyre teammates now. But theyve always bonded over basketball and sought to push and challenge one another.

That said, Jaden realizes there is finality to the experience.

I want to cherish this time with him. In a couple months, Im probably not going to be with him, Jaden said. So (Im) just enjoying this time, taking it day by day. Its time were not going to be able to get back.

Las Vegas woman arrested after man found dead in tunnel in July 2020 - FOX5 Las Vegas

When Vegas started to open up again, nightclubs couldnt. Locals looking for some semblance of that experience found it in an unlikely location near Hendersons Seven Hills neighborhood.

We were the biggest club in town over quarantine, says Daniel Hackett, owner of Blume Kitchen & Cocktails (3415 St. Rose Parkway #120, 702-444-7820).

He started at the restaurant as general manager and took over when its original owners decided to sell in the summer of 2019. A year later, Hackett shifted gears to create a vibe dining hot spot and turned the banquet room into a late-night lounge offering cocktails and bottle service, hookah, DJs and live entertainment. Then the celebs started showing up.

I did an event for Alexis Skyy, an Instagram model [and reality TV personality], and she posted it everywhere, Hackett says. Two weeks later, I got a call that Cardi B wanted to do her birthday party, then we did one for T-Pains wife. Bow Wow, Lil Baby, everybody was coming in, because it was the only place outside of Miami doing anything. Every time youd come in youd be sitting next to Shaq or Mike Tyson.

There have always been Las Vegas night spots away from the Strip and Downtown, neighborhood bars, restaurants and lounges serving up music and drinks to industry folks and locals who want to party without driving to a casino megaclub. But its tough to build consistency. Blume is doing it by evolving its dining experience to match its clientele and by keeping its programming interactive.

I hate nightclubs. I love going out to have a drink and smoke hookah and see a great DJ, Hackett says. Obviously, having local pricing goes a long way, not paying a thousand dollars for a bottle of Casamigos. Weve changed to more of an urban ultra lounge, the food changes and we listen to guests to see what theyre looking for.

Since so many customers work in the industry, service has to be a priority when it comes to neighborhood nightlife. Thats the guiding philosophy at Jing at Downtown Summerlin (10975 Oval Park Drive, 702-333-1512), the Las Vegas version of a popular upscale steak and seafood restaurant from Colorado that opened in January 2020.

We put the emphasis on training our staff, so they can educate guests on all our programming, says general manager Rob Velez, formerly of Bardot Brasserie and Sage at Aria. It doesnt matter what youre into; we have a little something for everybody.

Jing is a restaurant first, with an eclectic menu engineered by veteran chef Thomas Griese (Le Cirque, Andres, Mina Group). The elevated designand literally elevated boothsmight give you some STK vibes, and every week is stacked with events.

We do something almost every day, Velez says. Monday is our industry night, and at 9 p.m. this secret industry menu kicks in with 50% off steak and sushi. We do some bottles and cocktail specials and get a lot of club kids and industry folks from the Strip coming to join us.

Tuesday is wine night, with some old-school music for an older audience, and Wednesday is ladies night, with bottomless bubbles beginning at 9 p.m. Jing has been attracting some celebrities and entertainers, too, especially during Octobers promotional partnership with Dan Bilzerians Ignite spirits.

Both suburban venues are providing nightlife experiences that could take place on the Strip but are clearly conceptualized for locals.

Six months ago I broke up our team into groups and ... started spitballing ideas. Thats how some of our programming really came about, Velez says. Thats why its been successful, because were all invested. They book tables and tell their friends and family.

Neighborhood nightlife thrives at Summerlin's Jing and Henderson's Blume - Las Vegas Weekly

WARSAW, Poland Thousands marched in Warsaw on Thursday to mark Polands Independence Day, led by far-right groups calling for strong borders, while its troops blocked hundreds of new attempts by migrants to enter the country illegally from neighboring Belarus in a tense political standoff.

Security forces patrolled the capital and other cities for the holiday rallies, which in recent years have seen some violent attacks by nationalist extremists.

This year's march was overshadowed by events unfolding along Poland's border with Belarus, where thousands of riot police and troops are turning back migrants, many from the Middle East,who are trying to enter the European Union.Makeshift camps have sprung up in forests on the Belarusian side near a crossing at the Polish town of Kuznica, and with temperatures falling and access to the frontier restricted, there are fears of a humanitarian crisis.

EU officials have accusedBelarus President Alexander Lukashenko of using the migrants as pawns in a hybrid attackto retaliate for sanctions imposed on his authoritarian regime for a harsh internal crackdown on dissent.

We Thank the Defenders of Polands Borders, said one banner seen in Warsaw, which is 250 kilometers (155 miles) west of Kuznica. Traditional patriotic music, some of which was banned while Poland was part of the Soviet bloc, also was played.

Warsaws liberal mayor and courts had banned the march, but right-wing authorities in the national government overrode the order and gave the gathering the status of a state ceremony.

The government's support for the far-right leaders of the march underlined how Polands right-wing ruling party wants their support. It also is engaged in a political fight with the EU over Polish changes to the country's judiciary, viewed in Brussels as an erosion of democratic norms, along with rhetoric seen as discriminatory to LGBT groups.

In 2017, the Independence march drew tens of thousands and included white nationalist and anti-Semitic slogans. Yet the following year, which was the centennial of Poland regaining its statehood, the president and prime minister and other leaders marched along the same route as the nationalists.

In seeking to ban the march, Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski, an opposition figure, argued that Warsaw, which was razed by Nazi Germany during World War II, is no place to propagate slogans that have all the hallmarks of fascist slogans.

State television TVP, a ruling party mouthpiece, called it a great march of Polish patriots.

As Thursday's march began, groups carried Poland's white-and-red national flags, but some also waved the green flags of the National Radical Camp displaying a stylized hand with a sword, a far-right symbol dating to the 1930s.

Deputy Interior Minister Maciej Wasik tweeted that many of the security forces will go directly from Warsaw to defend our border with Belarus. When marching, remember this!

Robert Bakiewicz, the leader of the march, said in a speech that all Poles should stand behind the troops and officials who are protecting the eastern border.

You know, dear ones, that we meet in an exceptional situation. This march is unique, unlike any other. Today there are not only internal disputes, today there are also external disputes, he said. Today there is an attack on the Polish border.

About 15,000 Polish troops have joined riot police and border guards at the border. The Belarusian Defense Ministry accused Poland of an unprecedented military buildup there, saying that migration control did not warrant such a force.

The Defense Ministry said Thursday that the migrants made a number of attempts to cross the border since Wednesday, as they have all week.

Near the village of Bialowieza, where a group of a few hundred migrants threw debris across the razor-wire fence at Polish troops and then tried to destroy it, shots were fired in the air to deter them.

Shots also were fired in the air near the village of Szudzialowo after migrants attacked a soldier, the ministry said. He was hit with a branch on the chest. He fired two warning shots into the air, the ministry said. The soldier was unhurt and the attackers fled into Belarus.

Since the start of the year, there have been 33,000 attempts to cross the border illegally, with 17,000 in October alone, the border guard service said.

The border crisis has been brewing since summer, with migrants trying to cross from Belarus to Poland, Lithuania and Latvia. Many want to head for Germany, but Finland also is a destination.

The EU is looking at the role some airlines have played in carrying migrants and asylum-seekers to the bloc's doorstep, and there are reports that it is mulling sanctions against them.

Russias national flag carrier, Aeroflot, strongly rejected allegations that it was involved, saying it isn't conducting any regular or charter flights to Iraq or Syria and didnt have any flights between Istanbul and Minsk.

The Polish government has pointed the finger at what it believes is a Turkish role something Ankara denies.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, in a phone call Wednesday with his Polish counterpart, Zbigniew Rau, rejected baseless allegations that flag carrier Turkish Airlines was involved, Turkish officials said.

Meanwhile, Iraqi Deputy Migration Minister Karim al-Nuri told the Russian state news agency Sputnik that his country will aid in returning its citizens from Belarus if they wish.

We will transport those who want to return. We will facilitate this through the Iraqi embassy in Russia, since Iraq does not have an embassy in Belarus, the official said.

I was a bit skeptical beforehand. I had just assumed there would be long lines and too few cars and that it would be faster and easier to just walk from the all-new West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center to the far-distant South Hall, a distance of o.8 mile.

So as I rode an escalator down into the underground tunnels beneath the LVCC, I was a bit surprised to find there was only about a minutes waiting. I just walked up to a Tesla Model X, said hello to the human driver, and right after the door closed itself, we were off. Two other SEMA attendees had climbed under the Falcon Wing doors and into the Model Xs middle seats.

The tunnel we entered had a flat asphalt surface with no curbs. The driver steered through the slightly winding tunnel, which was lit up with colorful blue, green, and red lights. Top speed was limited to 40 mph.

I hit 41 earlier and got nicked, my driver said.

Later, on another ride, we hit 42 mph. I took a few rides during my time at SEMA. They were all serene, certainly less terrifying than a ride I had taken a few years ago in The Boring Companys Hawthorne project tunnel. In that scarefest the Model X was driven autonomously, with spring-loaded side wheels at the car's corners bumping off curbs in the tunnel at exponentially higher rates. Finally, at about 45 mph, an engineer in the drivers seat had to grab the wheel to keep us from obliteration. (I must say I prefer the new approach I experienced in Vegas.)

In Las Vegas, there were two tunnels, one tunnel hosting Tesla electric cars in one direction and the other tunnel funneling traffic in the opposite direction. There were three stops in the Las Vegas system, one in the middle and a stop at either end. If you entered at the middle station facing one way and wanted to go the other way, there was an easy and simple turnaround the driver would take and then whisk you to your destination.

In previous SEMA and CES shows, there had been cheerful retirees stationed around the Convention Center in electric golf carts up on the surface. They also drove guests around the LVCC. They got you nearer to where you wanted to go without walking. But the tunnels are faster and more efficient. You could go farther and in less time and there was never anything getting in your way.

Plans released Oct. 20 by The Boring Company say the Vegas Loop will eventually be 29 miles long with 51 stations and a capacity of 57,000 passengers per hour. It will also be financed without any taxpayer money, being funded instead by The Boring Company for the tunnel portions and by the individual resorts for the stations.

Is this the future of transportation? It will fill a specific need in dense urban areas like Las Vegas. Whether it can expand beyond that to areas with longer distances to coverlike Los Angeles, for instanceis another question. No reason it couldnt, in theory. Las Vegas Clark County Commissioners-approved their Vegas Loop System of tunnels to connect hotels, the convention center and even the airport, some day. With those 51 stations planned on that Loop, it, too will be as efficient as you want it to be.

You dont have to stop at every station along the way, assured Steve Hill, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. You can get in the car here and you can go straight to where you want to go without stopping. There arent traffic lights, there arent stop signs, there are not stations you have to stop at along the way. So it makes the trip really convenient and really quick and will allow our guests and our visitors to experience everything Vegas has in a really fun and efficient way.

Wouldnt a subway do the same thing in a more efficient way? Heres how I would answer that after my quick handful of rides: By just getting into a car and going wherever I wanted, this was more convenient and faster than a subway, where you have to wait for a train. It was like riding in a taxi but with no traffic or stop lights to slow me down. With enough Model Xs in enough tunnels, there'd be no waiting. For relatively short distances like those in Las Vegas, it works. And being way underground means you dont need massive air conditioning in the summer, right?
