Freedom ended a five-game losing streak in emphatic fashion with a dominant road win at Wiregrass.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Patriots jumped on the Bulls for three touchdowns in the second.
Freedom back-up quarterback DJ Grant found Johnny Rodicio on a 59-yard TD to open the scoring. A minute later, Nate Godwin picked off a pass and returned it 23 yards for a TD. Anthony Hendry added a 1-yard rushing touchdown before the half.
It was more of the same in the third quarter, as Grant and starting quarterback Taylor King alternated touchdowns passes against an overmatched Bulls (0-9) defense.
First, King hit Alunte Fleshman on a 20-yard pass over the middle and Fleshman sprinted the remaining 50 yards. Three minutes later, Grant hit Andre Folkes on a 23-yard touchdown, and Freedom (3-7) finished the scoring when King hit Tyruence Creary for 6 yards.
Grant finished 6-for-10 for 125 yards and the two scores, and Fleshman finished with 95 yards on two catches .

New Song: Nicki Minaj, 'Freedom'

Nicki Minaj reflects on her success in "Freedom."
Nicki Minaj'sPink Friday: Roman Reloaded -- The Re-Up(try saying that three times fast) includes seven brand-new songs, and guess what: we've got one for you to check out right now! Don't thank us -- it's our pleasure. We've already seen Nicki's unicorn-laden (!!) "Va Va Voom" video, and now we're officially obsessed with her latest single, "Freedom."
Listen to Nicki Minaj's "Freedom" after the jump.
Although "Freedom" is a bit more subdued than your average Nicki track, it still packs quite a lyrical punch as the professional eye-roller spits about her success and rightfully claims her spot atop the female rapper hierarchy: "My careers been a pinkprint/ Man Im birthing theseartistsand its starting to show/ Who I wantto workwith, nobody/ 99 percent of them is nobody." In a lovely turn of events, Nicki also sings the hook on "Freedom," making it a little more intimate than some of her other records. In sum, we dig! And also, we're thinking this record might workas a potential theme song for her new reality series!

Freedom blows out Franklin thanks to six opening-half TDs

Freedom's D.C. Corpening sheds tackles on a run to the outside against first-round 3A state playoff foe Franklin on Friday.
Freedoms 18th home state playoff contest resulted in many records shattered in the Patriot history books.
Freedom (10-2) hit paydirt on its first six possessions en route to a 42-14 triumph Friday against visiting Franklin (8-4) in both teams state 3A West football playoff opener. The Patriots won their playoff opener for the second time in three seasons, as the offense erupted for 499 total yards (368 rushing).
Tonight Im not sure if we could have played any better in the first half, said FHS coach Mike Helms. We gave Franklin a little too much defensively, but we knew coming in that they were a good quality team.
Were very proud of how we played to advance especially coming off last year. Im still sad for those guys from last season, because I thought they got a raw deal. But at the same time, this is some vindication for them knowing that they had a part to do with being the first team in the 40-year school history to win 10 games in three consecutive years.
Senior running back David Burgess (17 carries, 253 yards) set a new school single-season rushing record (2,386 yards) that was previously held by 99 graduate Terry Sheffield (2,158).
Burgess scored touchdowns on runs of 68, 46 and 20 yards in the opening 17 minutes.
Its just a blessing. Ive got to give thanks to God, Burgess said. Without him giving me the ability, I could not have done this, and second to my teammates for blocking. This was a huge win to advance to the second round but also a record night for the team.
Freedom senior quarterback Shawn Fairchild was a perfect 7 of 7 passing for 131 yards, all in the opening half. Junior Khris Gardin caught four passes for 83 yards and two TDs the Patriots first on a 33-yard catch in the back of the end zone, with the second coming on an over the shoulder 42-yard catch to put the Pats up 21-7 with just more than four minutes remaining in the opening quarter.

Economic Freedom: Why the USA is Now the Land of the (Less) Free
Posted: at 8:48 am
It's Election Day! Woohoo!
Today, we Americans will enter voting booths all across the nation to pull the levers that will shape our destiny. Either we embrace the big, expensive promises of the Left or we embrace the big, expensive promises of the Right.
Our fate hangs in the balance.
The only thing we know for certain about our looming fate is that we cannot afford it...which means that our destiny rests not in the hands of a Barack Obama or a Mitt Romney; it rests in the hands of our creditors guys like Zhou Xiaochuan, Governor of the People's Bank of China, Masaaki Shirakawa, Governor of the Bank of Japan and Abdullah bin Fahd al-Mubarak, Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority.
We might not be able to pronounce their names, but they are among the most powerful folks "in America." In the real world, debtors don't call the shots; creditors do. So if Xiaochuan, Shirakawa, al- Mubarek, et al. should decide to stop writing checks, "powerful" politicians like President Obama will become a lot less powerful.
During just the last four years, America's national debt has skyrocketed from roughly $10 trillion to about $15 trillion. That's not power, Dear Reader, that's epic weakness.
By ceding control of her finances to foreigners, America is forfeiting much of her economic flexibility and freedom. But rather than addressing this lamentable fiscal trend by reducing the role of government, the American political machinery, in aggregate, has been expanding its role.
This well-greased machinery usually cites some sort of theoretical national emergency or vague national priority to validate each new intrusion into the private sector. As a result, government grows like a cancer, while the muscle of economic freedom atrophies. Before you know it, you've got a USSR-in-the-making.
According to the latest "Economic Freedom of the World" report, America's economic freedom ranking has tumbled from second place in 2000 to 18th place in 2010. This report, co-published by the Cato Institute, the Fraser Institute in Canada and more than 70 think tanks around the world, attempts to 'measure the consistency of the institutions and policies of various countries with voluntary exchange and the other dimensions of economic freedom.'
'[T]he United States has fallen precipitously from second in 2000 to...18th in 2010,' the Frasier Institute reports. 'By 2009, the United States had fallen behind Switzerland, Canada, Australia, Chile, and Mauritius, countries that chose not to follow the path of massive growth in government financed by borrowing that is now the most prominent characteristic of US fiscal policy.

Uber Offers ‘Freedom Rides’ to Voters on Election Day
Posted: at 8:48 am
The on-demand private driving service Uber is hoping to make Election Day easier for voters by offering "Freedom Rides" to and from polling stations.
The Uber app teamed up with Rock the Vote to give all first time users of the service a free ride to the polls, as long as they download the app and enter the promotion code VOTEUBER during sign-up. Then a town car will take you to cast a ballot.
"It's important for all Americans to exercise their right to vote, and with a free Uber ride, everyone has an equal opportunity to get to the polls," Uber spokesman Max Crowley tells Mashable.
There are a few small print considerations about Uber's offer. Only the first $20.12 of the trip will be free, then they turn on the meter. The ride must take place during voting hours in your area, and previous Uber members can't get a free ride. But Uber does say that they will be offering special rates for all members on Election Day. SEE ALSO: Need to Preview Your Ballot Before Voting? Use This App But we mostly question Uber's choice of their service name Freedom Rides. In the 1960s, freedom rides were comprised of civil rights activists who rode buses to the south in an effort to question Supreme Court decisions, like the Jim Crow transportation laws.
Crowley said they didn't base their promotion on the historical events, but more so, "celebrating democracy and the fact that we have the freedom to vote."
The app is available for both iOS and Android, and the service can be accessed in any of the 14 cities Uber operates in.
Do you think you'll use this tomorrow? Tell us in the comments below. This story originally appeared on Mashable.com.

Barrilleaux for Congress, Interview 10-22-12 Part 8 Socialism and Compromise
Candidate Barrilleaux describes how good intentions in socialism turn into threats to liberty and freedom. Barrilleaux describes the limits of compromise and the line that must not be crossed. Obamacare is used as an example. http://www.BryanBarrilleauxforCongress.weebly.com Barrilleaux, a Pro-Life Conservative is running on a reform platform and takes no campaign contributions and spends none of his own money in the campaign. The campaign in effect requires no money because it spends no money. He will serve in Congress with no conflict of interest. From:Bryan BarrilleauxViews:0 0ratingsTime:02:26More inNews Politics
