One-Fourth Of Cyberpunk 2077 Players Have Reached Max Street Cred Level – GameSpot

Posted: May 11, 2021 at 10:55 pm

Roughly a quarter of Cyberpunk 2077 players have maxed out their street cred level, according to developer CD Projekt Red, meaning they had to play the game for a very long time. While the figure may seem low in itself, it actually shows a notably high level of engagement with the game's array of content when compared to how many players typically finish games, and considering the vast amount of content in Cyberpunk 2077.

CDPR announced the stat through a tweet, giving the exact figure of 23.5%. While you can gain street cred by playing the main story, the bulk of street cred is gained by taking on sidequests like gigs and taking down Wanted enemies.

By comparison, most people who start a game never finish it. Public sharing of stats like Trophies and Achievements have consistently shown very low levels of game completion. As noted in a Reddit thread, some very popular games only reach 20-50% completion rates on Steam, so 1/4 of Cyberpunk players maxing their street cred suggests those who do play the game are plumbing it thoroughly. Keep in mind this stat is being provided directly from CDPR, so it may have weeded out players who only dipped a toe in Cyberpunk and then bounced off--a group that tends to drive down completion stats for many games.

Cyberpunk 2077 had a troubled launch, with complaints of bugs that led the developer to offer refunds and the game ultimately being pulled from the PlayStation Store. CDPR hasn't given up on the game, saying it hopes that continued support will help it sell for years to come. The studio posted a massive profit in 2020, and a comparatively tiny number of players requested refunds.

Going forward, the studio's plans for multiplayer are unclear. CDPR has been continuing to issue patches and a dataminer recently uncovered evidence of new quests.

Tattoo Punk will bring cyberpunk tattooing to Switch and PC – Nintendo Enthusiast

Posted: at 10:55 pm

Its Mothers Day, but if you dont want to pull the trigger on getting a MOM tattoo, maybe you can wishlist Tattoo Punk from developer Cyber Rain Games and publishers No Gravity Games and VARSAV Game Studios instead. Tattoo Punk is a cyberpunk tattoo artist experience headed to Nintendo Switch and PC, and its release date will be announced soon. Other platforms are still being considered, and the game will support English and Polish languages at launch.

The premise is that it is the year 2100, and Henry is living in the latest stage of capitalism where corporations are ruining everything and body modification is all the rage for some reason. Henrys wife died, and he is tattooing to pay the bills and keep his son fed. So in Tattoo Punk, you will customize your studio, design various cool tattoos, haggle over prices, build loyal clinetele, and even take charge of advertising your parlor. This is very much a simulator game, albeit with a futuristic slant, much like SuchArt: Genius Artist Simulator.

If for some reason you played Cyberpunk 2077 and your favorite aspect was the character design, then Tattoo Punk might be up your alley when it launches on Switch and PC presumably later this year.

Review: Reelin’ In The Years In TIME BEFORE TIME #1 – Monkeys Fighting Robots

Posted: at 10:55 pm

- Advertisement -GET YOUR COPY OF MFR: THE MAGAZINE #3

Written by Declan Shalvey (Bog Bodies, Injection) and Rory McConville, with art from Joe Palmer, Time Before Time #1 is an engaging and wholly entertaining opening chapter to this ruined future time travel comic series. With colors by Chris OHalloran and letters from Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou, this comic displys its influences openly to the point where it starts to feel pretty unoriginal, but its held together by sharp writing and pacing and fitting visual work.

The year is 2140, and to escape a world with no future, many turn to the Syndicate, a criminal organization who, for the right price, will smuggle you back in time to a better life. After working for the Syndicate for years, Tatsuo and Oscar decide to steal one of their bosss time machinesbut soon find that the one thing you cant run from is your past.

Every story you read in our time is going to have its influences, whether they be subtle or blatantly obvious. What matters is how these influences are used in the creation of a new tale. Declan Shalvey and Rory McConville succeed in opening up a science fiction world with a great premise sending people back in time to escape the calamity that we have made our planet and creating a simple yet effective motivation for the protagonist to also get the hell out of Dodge. However, if you know what this story pulls much of its influence from, it can be a little distracting. See, this comics plot borrows, whether accidentally or unintentionally, alot of its concepts from Rian Johnsons 2012 sci-fi filmLooper(which is brilliant on its own). Granted, Shalvey and McConville have given the idea of time travel as this crime syndicate-led underground act and spun it in a slightly different direction than Johnsons movie, but theres still so much similarity that I couldnt help but see it with every turn of the page. Again, this could be totally unintentional as there are so many very similar genre stories that accidentally borrow from one another all the time (I mean the lead characters name is Tatsuo, soLooper wasnt the only story on my mind). If youve seen Looperthough, be warned that theres a good chance that it going to dominate your thoughts while reading this comic. Everything else about this script is honestly solid. While we dont get to spend a *ton* of time with a couple more important supporting cast members, theres still enough detail from the story to paint a picture of the interpersonal relationships amongst these people and the protagonist, which created an emotionally effective twist early on in the issue. The dialogue is sharp, with some clever twinges of humor sprinkled throughout. Despite its overbearing similarity with one other piece of recent science fiction, this is a thoroughly well-written comic.

The bleak ruined future of Time Before Time #1 is brought to life by the pencils of Joe Palmer, with colors by Chris OHalloran, and its a look that well suits this story. Palmers thick lines and heavy inks darken a bleak Earth with the exact sort of atmospheric aesthetic youd expect from a cyberpunk-esque comic. The architecture of the run down apartment structures and syndicate-owned warehouses is excellently well constructed in its dilapidation, with crumbling concrete and cracked sidewalks marking much of the scenery. The character animations and details are outstanding, with thin lines marking stress and age in characters as well as making obvious emotional reactions. Every character has a different design making them easy to tell apart. The colors from OHalloran are spot-on for this comic as well, with dreary ashen greys marking the outside world on the future, dotted by faded neon in nightclubs and via streetlights to make this comic feel like a true cyberpunk experience. Otsmane-Elhaous letters use a familiar and safe font that is highly dynamic, changing effortlessly based on characters tone and delivery. From the visual end, this is a tightly put together package that sticks the landing in regards to creating the world this story takes place in.

Time Before Time #1 is the kind of sci-fi story youve probably seen before, but is still delivered in a way that should be refreshing to most readers. Declan Shalvey and Rory McConvilles script is focused and tightly paced, offering considerable amounts of plot and characterization within this issues page length without ever feeling bogged down. The visuals from Joe Palmer and Chris OHalloran are perfectly bleak, rife with detail and appropriate tone for this kind of ruined cyberpunk future. Be sure to pick up this debut issue when it hits shelves on 5/12!

The Ascent drops you into a living, breathing cyberpunk world that is "completely seamless from beginning to end" – Gamesradar

Posted: May 1, 2021 at 5:46 am

The Ascent may leave its camera hanging in the clouds, but theres something about its world thatll pull you right into the thick of it: the crime, the corruption, and the gangs and corporations vying for control in an atmospheric metropolis. Neon Giant has built a wondrous space for its Xbox Series X debut. Watching The Ascent in action, I can't help but be drawn to just how alive this cyberpunk setting seems and to its civilians just trying their best to survive in a world of unending chaos, much of it created by whoever is holding the controller. Alien locals have conversations beside neon-tinted signage, muttering about the violence that you have engineered, as others attend to completing the daily grind of life around them. The Ascent might be an action-shooter RPG at heart, but it's one set in a living, breathing world.

Graphically, it looks incredible too, with realistic light reflections on the ground and impressive architecture and environments. But what is perhaps more noticeable is the absence of any kind of loading screen as we're taken through each area and transition between cutscenes and gameplay. "It's completely seamless, in that we don't have loading screens," says Tor Frick, co-founder of Neon Giant and creative director of The Ascent. "We have, of course, fast travel with the train and the taxi, but the game is completely seamless from beginning to end."

"We wanted to take some of the tropes in cyberpunk and apply a little bit [of] a different flair to it."

This seamless experience takes place in a world where a mega-corporation known as The Ascent Group owns everyone and everything. When something happens that causes the corporation to suddenly go under, you set out to find answers. With a story-driven main campaign, side missions with their own little stories, and boss fights to experience, there's also plenty of room for you to explore at your own pace and discover everything the cyberpunk setting has to offer.

The Ascent plays out across an isometric layout, letting you tactically read the environment and use architecture around you as cover, should you happen to run into some enemies and find yourself in a gunfight. Taking into consideration the height of your foes, you can adjust your aim to go high or low, and shoot over cover. How (and if) you engage in combat is entirely left up to you, though. Neon Giant is building The Ascent with flexibility in mind, with a host of handcrafted weapons to try out, along with a range of gear and cyberware that can be switched up at any time.

As co-founder and creative director Arcade Berg explains, when you start the game you can create a character, but you're "not locked in" to any options you choose. Instead of having set classes, it's left up to you to determine how you want to customize your character to suit your preferred playstyle. From cyberware modifications such as augmentations and modules which determine your passive and active abilities in combat, to hairstyles and tattoos, you can change up your style and skill set at any time by visiting the Grafter an NPC that will let you customise just about any part of your character. "[It's] purely on how you choose to do things, we're completely classless," Berg says. "We also let you adjust that as you play because we feel it's more interesting and more fun to be allowed to experiment and play around with it, instead of locking yourself into something before you've even played the game"

Playable as both a single-player experience and in co-op, it's clear from what I've seen so far that Neon Giant has put a lot of care and effort into delivering on isometric RPG action and creating a fully realized world with their own take on cyberpunk. "We draw inspiration from many, many different works. From movies, books, comics. There's a whole influx of inspiration," says Frick. "But we wanted to take some of the tropes in cyberpunk and apply a little bit [of] a different flair to it. We have aliens and a lot more of a sci-fi feel to our game than the traditional cyberpunk does."

The Ascent is set to release on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S sometime in 2021.

Cyberpunk 2077 System requirements, size and time to finish the action role playing game – Republic TV

Posted: at 5:46 am

Cyberpunk 20727 was one of the most talked about action role playing games but it was a real let down after the number of bugs spotted in the game. The makers have released a number of new updates that have fixed all of these issues and the players seem to love the game. But to run it seamlessly, the players are trying to search about the Cyberpunk 2077 requirements. Here is the minimum and recommended system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077. Read

Cyberpunk 2077 size is approximately 70 Gb and the players need to keep that much free space on their system. It is also said that a gamer is required to invest around 40-50 hours of their time to complete the game completely. This time can also be extended if the players wish to complete all the 6 endings that are there in the game. Because of the high graphics and the huge amount of space it takes up, the game certainly requires a powerful system to run without any problems. To help the viewers, here are the minimum and recommended system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077. There is also a picture that was posted on Cyberpunk 2077 official website that can help get the PC requirements of the same.

This Cyberpunk 2077 Vehicle Mod Introduces The Beastly Lamborghini Terzo Millennio Electric Hypercar – Wccftech

Posted: at 5:46 am

This brand-new Cyberpunk 2077 vehicle mod allows players to drive the Terzo Millennio Electric Hypercar by Lamborghini.

Plenty of cars to drive in Cyberpunk 2077 with the fastest one being the Rayfield Caliburn hypercar. Still, fans might be looking for something even more extreme, more batlike even. Well, created by modder Kingso, this beastly new car mod does just that.

Check Out How Stunning a Heavily-Modded The Witcher 3 Can Look in 4K Running on an NVIDIA RTX 3090

The Lamborghini Terzo Millennio Electric Hypercar modification replaces the Rayfield Caliburn with Lamborghinis futuristic concept car. The Terzo Millennio Electric comes with a carbon fiber body, center seat driving positions, and a full interior makeover. It might be a matter of taste, but I think this car looks almost as stunning in-game as it does on the concept renders Ive seen from Lamborghini. A couple of screenshots and a video showing off this mod have been included below.

The name may point a long way into the future - Terzo Millennio meansthird millennium-but Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali started theTerzo project on his arrival atSantAgata. The idea was to explore howto make an EV hypercar dramatic and engaging enough to deliver both thekerb appeal and performance that makes it worthy of the brand, as wellas engage Lambos future audience. The Terzo is basically a rollingtechnical test bed designed to challenge current EV thinking andjump-start a more radicalapproach.

Interested in checking this mod out? You can download it for PC from Nexusmods. Getting the mod to work shouldnt be too hard, but be sure to read up on the installation instructions first.

Quite the looker don't you think? Please share your impressions or thoughts about this impressive-looking mod for CDPR's title down below.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now for PC and consoles. A proper next-gen version of the game is slated for a release later this year.

"If Only Cyberpunk Looked Like This" – Former Game Dev Reacts To Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart’s New Gameplay Trailer – PlayStation…

Posted: at 5:45 am

Like Ratchet & Clank: Rift Aparts gameplay trailer blew us all away yesterday, a former EA game developer (The Cherno) has reacted to Insomniacs latest showcase of the game and gave us a developer perspective on just how impressive the game looks.

The most striking reaction Cherno offers comes when we transport to the city, where they say If only Cyberpunk looked like this highlighting how bustling atmosphere and beautiful lighting, compared to Cyberpunks underwhelming graphics. A tad bit earlier, Cherno also touches on just how detailed and sharp the game looks.

As the trailer progresses, Cherno remarks that the environments are incredibly detailed, which is also what stood out most to us yesterday when the trailer released. Before the trailer ends, they conclude by touching on how beautiful everything looks and the amount of detail in every inch of the environment.

Overall, it reiterates a lot of what has us excited about the game, but it is nice to get a developer perspective on how the game looks. The Cherno is now working on his own game engine called Hazel. You can see Chernos full reaction below:

Intel’s new driver 27.20.100.9466 fixes Cyberpunk 2077 glitches but it is still unplayable – Neowin

Posted: April 17, 2021 at 11:37 am

Intel today has released its latest DCH display driver bringing the version up to 27.20.100.9466. The driver fixes glitches related to graphics rendering in a few titles like Cyberpunk 2077, although the company has noted the game is still not playable as according to its internal testing, Intel's Iris Xe graphics only gets around 20fps. So it is safe to assume that the slower UHD Graphics will struggle even more.

It also resolves some display problems on 8K monitors and issues related to Multi-Stream Transport (MST) or Daisy Chaining. There are also a few fixes for video playback issues. The list of bugs fixed in this release are:

Below is a list of the issues that are yet to be resolved:

Curiously, it seems that the majority of the unresolved issues are on Intel's Iris Xe graphics.

In terms of compatibility, there are no major changes here. You'll need a 6th-generation Intel Core processor or newer, or related Celeron and Pentium processors with Intel HD Graphics 500 and higher. The driver is also compatible with Iris Xe-based graphics, be it integrated or dedicated. Software-wise, the driver will work with any version of Windows 10 starting with version 1709.

To download the 27.20.100.9466 driver, head over to Intel's official website here. As usual, the display driver package contains the graphics driver, the Intel Graphics Command Center, audio drivers, and more.

Cyberpunk 2077 Broke CDPRs Profit Record, Triple The Witcher 3s Launch Year – Forbes

Posted: at 11:37 am

Cyberpunk 2077

While the legacy of Cyberpunk 2077 is mostly that of an unfinished game that has had so many problems it remains banned from the PlayStation store, one narrative that is sliding under the radar is justhow many copies this thing sold.

CDPR has released some preliminary numbers ahead of its full annual earnings report, and they are deeply impressive, especially considering the issues surrounding the game at launch.

The 2020 release of Cyberpunk allowed CDPR to break its all times sales record with $562 million in consolidated sales revenues.

This is about 2.5 times, nearly triple, the previous record when The Witcher 3 launched in 2015, which had $210 million in revenue that year. The profit record was also broken, and that one was triple 2015, $303 million versus $89.8 million.

Think thats crazy? Its even more significant when you remember that The Witcher 3 launched in May of that year, while Cyberpunk 2077 launched in December, with just a few weeks to sell all those copies. The last numbers we heard from CDPR were back in December with 8 million pre-orders leading to 13 million copies sold. And yes, that was after refunds at the time, which were likely less large in volume than you think.

The Witcher 3

The Witcher 3 was more of a long tail success, going on to snowball in popularity over time. Cyberpunk 2077 absolutely has had some sharp sales drop-off, given both the problems with the game and the fact that Sony, owner of the largest console gaming platform on earth, is refusing to sell a digital copy of it in its store. But its already a huge sales hit regardless.

This is where CDPR feels like theyre in limbo now, and the plans for Cyberpunk 2077 remain somewhat nebulous. They have said they are committed to fixing the game so it can sell for years to come. They are still doing free DLC this year and the next-gen release of the game probably this fall. They still say theyre doing paid DLC expansions, but theyre not talking about them yet. They have, however, cancelled a huge multiplayer game tied to Night City.

Cyberpunk is a really, really complicated situation almost unlike anything else in the industry. Massive sales at launch, but a game so broken it was pulled from a major store. But if you could get past the bugs or played on a hyper optimal system like a high-end PC, there were many elements of the game that were actually quite great. As much as I write about Cyberpunks problems, I myself quite enjoyed it, and Im not alone. But the legacy of the game is clouded by its issues and CDPRs reaction to those issues.

This is going to be a long saga, mark my words. But in the end, its unclear if CDPR will alter the current legacy of the game and change the narrative surrounding it. If not, hey, at least it sold well.
