Which Type of Players Are Eligible to ‘Exclusive’ Casino Bonuses? – Amico Hoops
Posted: at 8:24 am
Online gambling has become an increasingly popular pursuit over recent years, especially in relation to the global pandemic which forced people away from public entertainment spaces and into their homes. Online gaming provided a social connection to people in a time of social isolation. As a result of this, weve also experienced a growth in the number of online casinos. Operating in a highly saturated market has meant that online casinos have to work hard to set themselves apart from the competition. One way of doing so is by offering potential customers exclusive casino bonuses as a way of attracting them to a particular online casino.
Whether you are new to the world of online gambling or an old hand at the slots, it is essential to be aware of the type of player that is eligible for these types of bonuses before jumping in.
Apart from the mandatory T&Cs and wagering requirements every player should look into, there is also the question of eligibility when it comes to certain bonuses on offer. Remember, just because theres a promotion available, this doesnt automatically mean you can benefit from it. Even if youre a loyal player at an online casino, exclusivity comes with certain conditions, and you should also keep in mind that it varies from one operator to the next.
Here are a few things worth noting when determining whether you are the type of player eligible for an exclusive casino bonus:
When you start getting into online gambling, youll realize there are all sorts of bonuses intended to attract potential players to a particular online casino. Exclusive bonuses differ markedly from standard bonuses in that they arent offered by the casino directly but by an affiliate program. Exclusive bonuses are intended to motivate players to promote the casino more efficiently, so they receive an additional boost on their winnings.
It is important to note that exclusive bonuses can only be claimed once a player has fulfilled the requirements set by the affiliate program. Exclusive bonuses usually come in the form of a code made up of a sequence of letters or numbers that need to be entered when creating an account with a particular casino. The nature of a specific exclusive bonus will depend on the agreement between the casino and the affiliate program but could involve free spins, cash, access to VIP rooms for a limited time period or cashback.
Exclusive bonuses arent all that common, so players really need to read the terms and conditions to ensure they are eligible. Firstly, youll need to find out about the wagering requirements. In the case of many exclusive bonuses, these are pretty high and difficult to get, so youll need to decide if you are the type of player that is able to meet these.
Another point to take note of when reading the terms and conditions on an exclusive bonus is how long the offer is valid. Youll find that many of these exclusive bonuses are only available for a limited time period, and youll need to check that you will be able to achieve the wagering requirements with this period in order to take advantage of the offer.
While the growth of online casinos has removed the obstacles usually associated with geographic boundaries by allowing people to play their favorite games from almost anywhere in the world, the terms of specific exclusive bonuses are limited to people based in a certain location. This may be related to laws in a particular territory or limits set by the affiliate program; in any case, it is worth noting whether the players eligible to benefit from the bonus need to be based in a particular country.
In short, exclusive bonuses that certain casinos offer are markedly different from most standard bonuses or welcome offers, which are available almost everywhere. The terms and conditions on exclusive bonuses are set by an affiliate program rather than the online casino portal itself.
The requirements on some of these exclusive bonuses can also be somewhat restrictive to limit the number of players that can benefit from them. That said, the opportunities to win big using these bonuses are great, so it is certainly worth investing some time learning about the requirements to see if you are eligible.
By the same token, ensuring that you understand exactly who is the type of player eligible to benefit from exclusive bonus at each individual online casino will be vital as it will save you time, effort and disappointment in the long run and ensure you know exactly what to expect when it comes to claiming your winnings.

Hard Rock Casino attracts big bucks in short month – The Times of Northwest Indiana
Posted: at 8:24 am
Even a shorter than usual month can't stop the Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana from extending its dominance of the Region's gaming market.
Data released Friday by the Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) show Hard Rock in February was the highest earning casino in the Hoosier State for a fifth consecutive month once again surpassing the perennial earnings leader, Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, for "win," or revenue after paying successful bettors.
Hard Rock's win from slot machines and table games totaled $31.6 million for the month. That was a 4.7% increase compared to its January win over 31 days and 12.8% more than Horseshoe's February win of $28.7 million, which was up 2.5% compared to January, according to the IGC.
Matt Schuffert, president of Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana, which last year replaced Gary's former Majestic Star casinos, said "despite only having 28 days February produced one of our strongest months since we opened last May."
"This was the first month we led the northern half of the state in both slot volume and slot win, and we continue to grow our table games business, posting our largest table games drop month with only 28 days," he said.
People are also reading
"Although we continue to dominate the baccarat business, we posted very strong growth in many other game types, particularly in blackjack and craps."
Schuffert expects the momentum to continue when the Hard Rock sports book opens in the weeks ahead. In addition, he said Hard Rock is ramping up its live entertainment in March and April, both in the 1,950-seat Hard Rock Live venue, and on Friday and Saturday nights in the "legendary" Hard Rock Caf and Council Oaks bar.
According to the IGC, Hard Rock attracted $52.5 million in table game wagers in February compared to $30.2 million at Horseshoe.
Baccarat was the biggest table game at both the Gary and Hammond casinos. But Hard Rock ($29.8 million) nearly tripled Horseshoe ($10.4 million) in baccarat play, and led in baccarat win with $4.1 million for Hard Rock and $1.4 million for Horseshoe.
Hard Rock also led the state in slot machine play for the second time since opening. Its $223.5 million in slot machine coin-in edged Horseshoe, which posted $221.4 million in slot play last month.
On a per machine basis, Hard Rock outpaced Horseshoe by tallying $13,768 in monthly win from each slot machine compared to $11,380 each at Horseshoe, records show.
According to the IGC, Ameristar Casino in East Chicago saw slot machine and table games win of $18.1 million in February, up 11.1% compared to January, while February's win of $10.7 million at Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City also was up 11% on a monthly basis.
Statewide casino win for February totaled $201.3 million, a 5.9% increase compared to the $190.1 million in statewide win recorded in January, and up an astounding 48.5% compared to pandemic dampened February 2021, according to the IGC.
At the same time, data show enthusiasm for betting on sports waned a bit in February with Hoosiers risking just $409.1 million on sporting events.
That was a 22.3% drop compared to the state's record sports wagering handle of $500.1 million set in January.
"As big as the Super Bowl is, there is no substitute for five full weekends of football games, as there were in January. For that reason, February is always a slower month than January," said Jake Garza, lead analyst for PlayIndiana.com.
"Still, Indianas sports betting industry remains in excellent shape. The largest sports betting holiday in the U.S. the NCAA Tournament is just ahead. With Purdue, Notre Dame, and Indiana in the mix, and Indianapolis among the hosts, it would not be surprising to see more records fall in March."
As usual, Ameristar Casino led the state for sports wagering handle in February with $121.5 million, primarily through its DraftKings mobile sports wagering affiliate.
Blue Chip once again ranked second with $107.7 million in sports bets last month thanks in part to its affiliation with FanDuel.
Records show Indiana in February collected $59.5 million in tax revenue from slot machine and table game play, and another $1.6 million from settled sports wagers.

Churchill Downs bets on new location for Terre Haute casino – Shelbynews
Posted: March 8, 2022 at 10:15 pm
The Indiana Gaming Commission has given a Churchill Downs affiliate the go-ahead to relocate its planned Terre Haute casino from a potentially unappealing site on the west side of the city to a highway-adjacent location on the east.
The $240 million Queen of Terre Haute is slated to open in late 2023 with 1,000 slot machines, 50 table games, a 125-room luxury hotel, a TwinSpires sports book, a steak house, and a rooftop bar, among other amenities.
It originally was going to be located near the Illinois state line on 20.9 acres of undeveloped land between the Wabash River and the Haute City Center mall, adjacent to a sewage treatment plant and within sight of the execution chamber at the nearby federal prison.
However, Churchill Downs officials said further communication with Terre Haute leaders and citizens prompted them to reconsider the west side location in favor of a 50-acre east side tract just north of Interstate 70 and west of Ind. 46.
In addition to extra space for potential future expansion, the new location is more accessible, part of a growing commercial core, fits in the city's existing road and infrastructure plans, and has overwhelming public support, said Jason Sauer, Churchill senior vice president for corporate development, and Ryan Jordan, senior vice president for real estate development.
Terre Haute was assigned a state gaming license by the 2019 General Assembly as part of a plan to consolidate Gary's two gaming licenses into one, and to allow the Gary casino to relocate from Lake Michigan to a land-based site adjacent to Interstate 80-94 at Burr Street.
The $300 million Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana opened in Gary on May 14, 2021. It's been the highest grossing casino in Indiana since October, topping the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond.
Things have moved much slower in Terre Haute. In June 2021, the gaming commission denied the original licensee's renewal request due to a variety of financial and ethical concerns, along with a lack of visible progress toward constructing a Terre Haute casino after more than a year.
That opened the door for other companies to apply for the license. Churchill Downs, the company that hosts the annual Kentucky Derby horse race and is majority owner of the Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, Illinois, was awarded the license in November.

Time2play joins forces with Gamban to increase responsible gambling support – Gambling Insider
Posted: at 10:15 pm
Affiliate Time2play and Gamban have joined forces during Problem Gambling Awareness Month in the US, helping to promote the benefits of responsible gambling and provide support for those in need.
To provide greater support for those suffering from gambling harm, the company has partnered with Gamban, a UK-based firm specialising in blocking online gambling websites on digital devices.
When an individual installs Gambans app on their device, it instantly protects them from betting sites, apps and services.
To prevent an individual from relapsing, Gamban never deactivates the service until the subscription ends and cannot be removed manually by the user.
As part of the new agreement, Gambans service, which normally costs $35 per year, can be accessed free of charge through Time2plays website. The service will be funded entirely by Time2play as part of its commitment to responsible gambling.
Tim Tepass, Time2play Co-Founder, commented: We wanted to do more to help any of our players that may be struggling with gambling addiction. Gamban was the obvious choice for us because of its reliable technology. Other tools are easily bypassed and don't offer the same level of protection.
We can't say that we are 'for the user' without considering the implications of our product on problem gamblers. While most of our visitors are casual players looking for information on a casino, some could be at higher risk of gambling addiction. We want to do everything we can to support those people, and this collaboration is just the beginning of our efforts.
The new initiative is part of Time2plays business plan for the years ahead, especially as the US gambling industry continues to grow rapidly.
Jack Symons, Co-Founder, Gamban, said: It is vital players understand there is support available if things get out of control. Affiliates are positioned to make people aware of these resources early on.

Las Vegas Cop Charged In Weekend Casino Robbery, Suspected In Two Others – Oxygen
Posted: at 10:15 pm
A Las Vegas police officer is being held on charges that he held up a casino over the weekend and prosecutors told the judge he is a suspect in two other, similar armed robberies.
Caleb Rogers, 33, is being held on two charges of robbery with a deadly weapon, one charge of burglary with a gun and one charge of attempted robbery with a deadly weapon, according to jail records, after a robbery at the Rio Casino Sportsbook early on Sunday morning, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
According to an arrest report reviewed by the newspaper, police allege that a man they've since identified as Rogers ran up to two casino employees at 6:56 a.m. on Sunday as they were attempting to stock the sportsbook's cash drawer with $119,000 in cash in a plastic bag.
"Get away from the money. Ive got a gun. I will shoot you!" Rogers allegedly told the two employees. He then allegedly shoved the female employee to the ground and said, "This isnt your money. Its not worth losing your life over it."
The robber then began shoving the cash into a bag concealed in his jacket and, while he was distracted, the employee who was shoved to the ground pulled alarms to alert security.
The robber noticed that the woman had pulled the alarms, jumped over the counter and began to flee the casino having securedjust over $78,000 in cash.
Casino security tackled the robber in a driveway leading to the property's parking garage, at which point he allegedly removed a silver revolver from the waistband of his pants and pointed it at the security guards.
"Are you willing to be shot over this? Im going to shoot you! Go ahead and shoot me now!" Rogers allegedly told the security guards who tackled him.
One of the guards allegedly grabbed the gun to stop Rogers from firing and, as other officers joined the struggle, they pried the gun from his hand.
When the police arrived, Rogers allegedly told them he was a fellow Las Vegas police officer. He eventually asked for an attorney.
Police say they removed a black drawstring bag from Rogers at the scene and returned $78,898 to the casino after photographing the cash. They also recovered a surveillance video allegedly showing Rogers driving an unregistered blue Chevrolet minivan onto the casino property.
At Monday's court hearing, prosecutors told the judge that Rogers is now a suspect in robberies at both the nearby Red Rock Resort and the Aliante Hotel, according to the Review-Journal.
Police said last year that the Red Rock Resort was robbed on Nov. 12, 2021 around 3:40 a.m. by a "white male adult between 30 and 40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, and with a medium build," the Review-Journal reported at the time.
Police released an image of a suspect in a Jan. 6 robbery "at Aliante Parkway and north 215" the location of the Aliante Hotel according to Las Vegas NBC affiliate KSNV. He was described as "white or Hispanic adult male of medium build, about 58 to 510 tall."
After Monday's hearing, the judge reaffirmed Rogers' previously-set $250,000 bail, and said that, if he did make bail, a hearing would be held to determine the source of the money, according to the Journal-Review.Las Vegas CBS affiliate KLAS reported that he will also have to wear an ankle monitor and be barred from the Las Vegas strip.
Rogers was suspended without pay after his arrest, according to a release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.Steve Grammas, the president of the Las Vegas Police Protective Association policeman's union, told KLAS that Rogers is not entitled to union legal representation in the incident.

"We’re not closed to the idea that the metaverse could be a huge betting avenue" – Yogonet International
Posted: February 28, 2022 at 8:37 pm
In an ever-growing technological market, Esports Technologies has been seeing an upward trend in their numbers and in expansion terms. After acquiring Aspire Globals B2C brands in December 2021, the company has seen great impact in its Q1 2022 numbers, amounting to $7 million in revenue.
In a video interview with Yogonet, Esports Technologies CEO, Aaron Speach spoke about the companys projects for 2022, new developments such as its e-sportsbook and new Chrome browser tool, which is expected to be launched next quarter, as it contemplates its potential entrance into the metaverse.
After Esports Technologies announced the acquisition of Aspire Globals B2C business, the company stated it intended to cross-sell esports wagering opportunities to increase esports revenue, player transactions and customers. So far, Aaron Speach considers they have seen significant progress in building their regulated esports product on the Aspire platform.
70% of the Aspire customers that we acquired are between 18 and 40 years old, which is exactly the target demographic we look for in an esports customer, the companys CEO explained, and further detailed that these customers are mostly located in Germany and the UK. We expect to launch in Q2 of this calendar year.
The acquisition also brought about improvement in the financial area, resulting in a FY22 Q1 report of $7 million released earlier this month, which Speach qualified as a massive improvement on the overall business.
He also underscored that what Esports Technologies can bring to the table that was not being accomplished by Aspire, is a focus on the B2C side business: Aspire was focused both on the B2B and B2C, and they agreed that this product in the hands of somebody dedicated to the consumer side of the business would benefit it greatly, and were seeing that today.
The deal also gave the company access to gaming licensing in regulated markets as well, including the UK, Germany, Ireland, Denmark and Malta. When talking about Esports Technologies approach and competitive advantages in each of these jurisdictions, and the investments planned for them, Speach explained: We actually brought over 14 employees that are extremely familiar with the Germany and UK market. So were going to be able to use their marketing acumen. But in Q2 of this calendar year, we expect to leverage esports in those regions. Were excited to also expand throughout more of Western Europe, including the Netherlands''.
When it comes to Aspire Globals B2B brands, Speach confirmed the company already has several synergies that they are using. GOGAWI, which is our unregulated esports product, is already fully moved over to the Aspire brands, and were actively marketing our launch throughout Southeast Asia and Latin America.
Were extremely excited that we were able to partner with Aspire on additional brands, and were excited to offer esports - and really one of the first esports products on Aspires BTO back-end provider, he explained. One of the key reasons why we did this acquisition was because we would be able to leverage Aspires B2B ability and operational ability on the casino and sportsbook side, and have a really tight relationship.
While the company harvests the benefits of the acquisition, Aaron Speach also referred to new products under development. One of them is the companys Electronic Sports Betting Exchange System, which is awaiting its patent approval.
Thats our hedgehog product, like Betfair, but focused on esports, so it will allow any customer to go on and set their own odds and their own prices on esports matches that they feel they can beat any provider thats out there. And this is huge for us from an odds and modeling perspective, which is one of our main products.
But it's also great for the consumer because if they feel like they have a beat on a match that maybe a sportsbook isn't providing, they're able to offer that market. From a B2B perspective, it also allows an exchange of knowledge and markets, and also the ability to lay off if youre a bigger provider where really there isnt an option right now, he explained.
Once approved, the system will be available in every regulated market where the company is allowed to do business, plus 140 unregulated markets as well, Speach added.
Esports Technologies does not stand still when it comes to expansion strategies, not only in territorial terms but in vertical diversification. The companys new affiliate platform has been contributing to such expansion. Its really allowed us to capture some of the major affiliates in esports, and considered if youre a serious B2C company, you should have your own affiliate platform. That way, you can manage everything without worrying about the dedicated software messing up or somebody not liking that certain software. You can keep everything managed in-house.
Global trends such as investments in immersive technologies and metaverse expansion are also on the companys radar. However, Speach stated that they are looking at different ideas and playing with the idea of different ways to use the metaverse for gambling. But we dont have any immediate action that were taking on the new idea of metaverse betting or what it could mean to have, like, a virtual casino.
Nevertheless, Esports Technologies CEO stated that the company is definitely not closed off to the idea that this could be a huge future betting avenue.
Even though there is no clear pathway for the company to enter the metaverse in the short term, the company has already confirmed its presence at real-life events this year, such as Sigma Dubai and ICE London. 2022 started off with the brand working on a new project that will launch in Q2.
I think our biggest product that were working on now, other than an e-sportsbook, would be our browser-based product. It is a Chrome extension that you download from our site and, just like you would any other Chrome extension that sits in your toolbar, and any time that youre on a web page with a video, we read the video. And if weve determined that that video is a sporting event going on, we take our data on feeds and we actually put an overlay on the video stream that youre watching so you can bet directly in stream.
This product will become available in all of the companys Esports products including unregulated market GOGAWI, which is about 140 jurisdictions, plus the regulated markets where the company operates in Western Europe.
