The winners of the Global Gaming Awards London 2021 have been revealed.

After a lengthy voting process, including a self-nomination window and input from our Nominations Panel and the Gambling Insider team, our esteemed judges voted to crown this years winners.

Votes were made online by leading CEOs and executives from across the industry, before being adjudicated by KPMG.

We break down 2021s winners, with a full list of the top threes in each category available at the bottom of this article.

This years big winners include bet365 and Kambi, who secured two Awards each. bet365 clinched the Online Sports Betting Operator Award, with bet365 Partners winning the Affiliate Program Award. Kambi, meanwhile, picked up the Retail Supplier and Online Sports Betting Supplier awards.

Evolution was another big winner at GGA London 2021. While Evolution itself won the Online Casino Supplier Award, Evolution-owned brands won three Awards in total, with NetEnt Divine Fortune MegaWays scooping the Product Launch Award, and Red Tiger Gonzos Quest MegaWays winning the Casino Product Award. Its the second time in a row that Red Tiger has won the Award.

Another company that has defended its title is LeoVegas, with the Swedish-based group winning the Online Casino category for the fourth time in a row.And after a number of near-misses over the years, IGT has finally returned to winning ways, clinching success in the Casino Supplier category.

Industry titans Paddy Power won the Betting Shop Operator Award, with Trustly taking top spot in the Payment Solution category.Sportradar secured victory in the Services Provider category, while Kindred Group won the Social Responsibility Award.

And in a hugely competitive Chief Executive category, it was Casino Cosmopols Per Jaldung who came out on top.

The outgoing chairperson will be replaced by Bevan Gibson, who has worked as a non-executive director at RaceTech since 2016 and is currently chief technology officer at EuroMediaGroup, in addition to amassing considerable experience of outside and remote broadcasting.

Playzido, Churchill Downs and 247Partners: recruitment round-up - Casino Beats

IRVINE, Calif. (AP) The Big West Conference is moving its mens and womens basketball tournaments to a new arena outside Las Vegas beginning next March.

The league said Thursday that the 6,000-seat Dollar Loan Center in Henderson will host the event for the next three years. The $84 million arena will be completed in February.

The Big West Tournament will run March 8-12, featuring 10 mens and womens teams vying for the leagues automatic berths to the NCAA Tournaments.

UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center hosted the event in 1994 and 95 before it moved to Reno from 1996 to 2000. This year's tournament was played at the arena inside the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino. It wasn't played in 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The tournament was played at two different locations in Anaheim, California, from 2001 to 2019.

The Dollar Loan Center will be home to the AHL's Henderson Silver Knights, a minor league affiliate of the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights; the Vegas Indoor Football League franchise; and the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame.

First Look Games, a platform which connects gaming suppliers directly with affiliates, has launched a new Sentiment Analysis tool aimed at helping developers understand how their games are being received by affiliates.

The tool uses natural language processing and artificial intelligence to read and understand the sentiment behind reviews written by all of the affiliates that have signed up to and used the First Look platform.

Each affiliate review is then given a sentiment score from one, the lowest score, to the highest score of five, with the average score for each game measured and shared with the studio. Studios can also receive an average score for the sentiment across all of their games.

First Look will use the sentiment scores as part of its Game Index, which ranks all of the games listed in its library. The Index is currently based on the number of game reviews made by affiliates, games audience reach and the number of free-to-play demo sessions played.

The tool is an extension of First Looks Accuracy Management Service, a tool designed to identify inaccurate reviews of games and automatically communicate corrections on behalf of the developer.

Tom Galanis, managing director of First Look Games, said that since the platforms launch, its game studio partners have been looking for ways to improve the reviews they receive from affiliates.

Ohio lawmakers have not taken any formal votes yet on an updated online and retail sports betting bill that could bring legal wagering to one of the nations largest markets. Elected officials on the states Select Committee on Gaming have targeted legislative approval for sports betting by the end of the month, but took no further action at a Wednesday meeting, the committees 13th of the calendar year.

The current bill allows 20 online licenses and 20 retail licenses, as well as $20 betting pools run by the Ohio Lottery. Which entities will earn these licenses or even be eligible to do so remain unknown.

Lawmakers have opened up sportsbook licensing eligibility to virtually any business in Ohio. Officials said during an earlier gaming committee hearing even the Ford Motor Company could be eligible.

If individual teams are licensed, they likely wouldnt necessarily have to affiliate with their respective leagues partners, but it could hint at likely market entrants:

Thats on top of other leagues and organizations. Dan Marks of Esports Entertainment Group, a Cleveland Cavaliers NBA 2K competition affiliate, testified Wednesday to permit licenses specifically for online eSports organizations and brick-and-mortar gaming venues. Officials from the WTA, which will host a tournament in Cleveland later this summer, have also testified before the committee.

Other gaming entities including lottery organizations, iGaming platforms and their affiliate tech providers have also asked to be included in sports betting legislation. Additionally, representatives from multiple restaurants, bar and other hospitality interests have also testified during several gaming committee hearings over the past few months.

Wednesdays gaming committee hearing leaves less time for action on the bill ahead of lawmakers self-imposed Jun. 30 deadline. Ohio is among a handful of states with legislatures that meet year-round, but without quick action, sportsbooks may miss most or all of the upcoming football season, perennially operators most lucrative time of the year.

With Republican Gov. Mike DeWine and leaders of the GOP-controlled legislature largely supportive of the concept of legal sports betting, some of the biggest questions for policymakers remain over taxes and regulation. Months of would-be stakeholder testimony show license allocation (and eligibility) are also major issues.

Some states that have passed 2021 sports betting bills such as Maryland (60 online licenses) and Louisiana (40) have responded by drastically expanding licensing eligibility. This would appease many of the disparate, competing applicants, but could alienate the established gaming industry, which has pushed lawmakers to limit non-gaming market entrants.

With Ohios sports bettings fate uncertain, market access remains a clear issue. It remains to be seen which operators (or types of operators) can enter the state, but lawmakers clearly have tough decisions ahead of them and are unlikely to appease all the myriad interests pursuing Ohio sports betting.
