Sitka successfully completed four drill holes for a total of 1242.8 m during the winter portion of the Project.

Sitka is excited to resume drilling on the most recent discovery of potentially economic intrusion-related gold mineralization within the Yukon portion of the TGB. The widths and grades encountered in drilling at our Blackjack zone are very significant when compared to our peers Victoria Gold and Banyan Gold who are mining and/or exploring their deposits within the TGB. Victoria Gold is currently mining the Eagle Gold deposit which had Measured and Indicated Resources prior to mining of 214 million tonnes grade of 0.63 g/t gold (Au) estimated at a 0.15 g/t cut-off (4.397 million ounces; Goodwin et al. 2019)(2). Banyan Gold recently announced an combined Inferred Mineral Resource at the Airstrip, Powerline and Aurex Hill deposits on their AurMac Project of 207.0 million tonnes grading 0.60 gram per tonne Au at an estimated cut-off grade of 0.2 to 0.3 g/t (3.99 millon ounces; Jutras 2022)(5), stated Cor Coe, P.Geo., CEO and Director of Sitka.

The company plans on expanding the Blackjack zone which was discovered with the final hole of the 2021 drill season (DDRCCC-21-021 or Hole 21) and was the focus of the 2022 winter drilling campaign (Holes 22 to 25).

Recent Blackjack Zone Drilling Highlights:

220 metres (m) of 1.17 g/t Au from surface including,

50.5 m of 2.08 g/t gold

273 m of 0.52 g/t Au from 46 m to 319 m including,

62 m of 1.21g/t Au

205.8 m of 1.01 g/t Au from surface including,

91.0 m of 1.61 g/t Au

107.5 m of 1.44 g/t Au from 4.5 m to 112.0 m including,

66.0 m of 2.11 g/t Au.

Hole 25, which is still pending, stepped out approximately 80 m to the east of Hole 21 and was drilled at the same orientation and dip. This drill hole encountered similar geology to the previous drill holes with visible gold observed in the drill core. A pattern of step-out holes as shown in Figure 1 is planned to expand the zone which is open in all directions and further define the extent of gold mineralization present in the Blackjack Zone. The goal of this phase of drilling is to gather sufficient data to estimate an initial gold resource. Sitka has employed two drill rigs that are currently on site to complete the planned 10,000 m diamond drill program.

About the RC Gold Project

The RC Gold Project consists of a 376 square kilometre contiguous district-scale land package located in the newly road accessible Clear Creek, Big Creek, and Sprague Creek districts in the heart of Yukon's Tombstone Gold Belt. It is the largest consolidated land package strategically positioned mid-way between Victoria Gold's Eagle Gold Mine - Yukons newest gold mine which reached commercial production in the summer of 2020 - and Sabre Gold Mines Brewery Creek Gold Mine. The RC Gold Project land package comprises five underlying properties, namely, the RC, Bee Bop, Mahtin, Clear Creek, and Barney Ridge properties*. The Company recently identified a large 500 m by 2000 m intrusion related gold system on the Property at the Saddle Eiger zone and to date has drilled 23 diamond drill holes into this system. This has been the main focus of the Companys drill programs at RC Gold in 2020, 2021 and 2022 which have returned several significant gold intercepts. including the last drill hole from the 2021 drill program, DDRCCC-21-021 (Hole 21) that intersected 220.1 m of 1.17 g/t gold from surface that included 50.5 m of 2.08 g/t gold. Hole 21, located in the Saddle West Zone, was drilled under a greater than 500 ppb gold-in-soil anomaly that was previously identified on surface and is part of the larger 2 kilometre by 500 m gold-in-soil anomaly that stretches from the Saddle West Zone to the Eiger Zone and is open in all directions. This drill hole was collared 200 m south of any previous drilling conducted and intersected a newly recognized controlling structure to mineralization known as the Blackjack Fault (see news release dated December 13, 2021).

Sitka Gold inherited a wealth of historical and current data from these properties from work spanning the last 40 years. Recent exploration work and the compilation of historical data have defined several mineralized zones with both bulk tonnage, intrusion-related gold deposit targets and high-grade, vein- and breccia-hosted gold targets. The RC Gold Project also has a common border with Victoria Golds Clear Creek property at its western boundary and Florin Resources Florin Gold property at its northern boundary.

Deposit Model

Exploration on the Property has mainly focused on identifying an intrusion-related gold system (IRGS). The property is part of the Tombstone Gold Belt which is the prominent host to IRGS deposits within the Tintina Gold Province in Yukon and Alaska. Appointment of Dr. Craig Hart to Board of Advisors

Sitka is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Craig Hart as a Technical Advisor to the company. Craig is an internationally recognized geoscientist who played a pivotal role in the development of intrusion-related gold systems, such as those that form gold at Sitka's RC Gold Project. He was most recently the Director and an Associate Professor at the MDRU-Mineral Deposit Research Geologist at The University of British Columbia. Four diamond drill holes, 22, 23, 24 and 25, were completed during the 2022 winter program for a total of 1,243 metres. Hole 24 was collared from the same setups as Holes 21 & 23 but was drilled to the west to a depth of 204 metres. The hole collared and remained in multiphase intrusive rock associated with the most consistent mineralization encountered to date at the BlackJack zone, to a depth of 52.4 metres where it crossed the BlackJack Fault. Below the fault, a mixed sequence of well mineralized metasedimentary country rocks and multiphase intrusive sills was encountered to a depth of 114.6 metres before transitioning into weakly mineralized metasedimentary country rock. Visible gold was also observed throughout the drill hole.

Today, we are going to take a look at a couple of those classic real money games as we compare blackjack vs baccarat in what is essentially a heavyweight title fight when it comes to the battle for the title of the best casino game of all time.

Lets take a look at each game individually, and then we will pit the two gaming juggernauts against each other to decide once and for all which game is better? Baccarat vs blackjack! Lets get started!

Blackjack is a card game where players square off against the dealer, trying to get closer to 21 without going over. The game starts with the player getting two cards face-up, and the dealer getting two cards, one face-up, and the other face-down. They can bet on the player, the banker, or the tie. After making their wagers, the dealer then deals two cards to both the player and the house or banker.

While you might think that the player is rooting for the player hand and that the house is rooting for the banker hand, that isnt always the case, as players are allowed to bet on either hand.

We have all heard the term the house always wins, and while that is certainly true, in baccarat, you can bet on the banker hand, and if it wins, you win too!

There are several different variations of baccarat available, but on a traditional bac table, a bet on the player hand pays even money, and a bet on the banker hand pays even money minus a 5% commission. That slight difference in payouts is based on the card drawing rules that favor the banker hand.

Visually, baccarat and blackjack appear to be very similar games as they both involve a player and a dealer getting two cards to start and then potentially drawing additional cards to help improve their holdings.

But when you dig a little deeper to truly compare blackjack vs baccarat, that is about it when it comes to similarities. I guess you could also say that both games are played with cards and chips and a dealer, but we could say the same thing about just every table game in a casino, so I wont get to that level of superficial comparison.

At the end of the day, these games may appear to be similar, but they are very different.

There are lots of differences between baccarat and blackjack, but to me, the biggest difference is that in baccarat, players dont make any decisions whatsoever that could affect the outcome of the hand.

The only decision a player can make is whether they want to play the player hand, the banker hand, or the tie. After that, they are just watching the outcome to see how it unfolds. In blackjack, the player can choose to hit, stand, or maybe even surrender based on their hand, the dealers hand, and the other exposed cards on the table.

Decisions like splitting pairs, doubling down, or surrendering are major decisions that can greatly change how the hand plays out. That makes these games completely opposite, as in one game, you just watch, and in the other, you are in complete control of what happens with your hand.

Now that we have established that being able to make decisions is what truly separates these games when comparing baccarat vs blackjack, the real question is, does that make blackjack the better game?

For the informed and skilled blackjack player?

Absolutely it does. But for a player that doesnt understand or use basic strategy, being able to decide what they do with their hand can actually work against them! We have all seen the player that splits tens against an ace on a blackjack table or hits their 14 when the dealer is showing a bust card like a six, and those poor decisions significantly increase the house advantage on the game.

Being able to choose your own destiny makes players feel like they have a bigger edge, but for the vast majority of casual players, it actually hurts them in the long run.

As with most things, the answer here falls somewhere in the middle. When you look at the theoretical hold for these games, both games are very good gambles with small house advantages. But there is always going to be a delta between the theo hold and the actual hold, and with blackjack, depending on the skill of the player, that delta can be massive!

Not all blackjack games are the same. Some pay 3-2 on blackjack, whereas others pay 6-5. Some tables allow you to double down on any two cards and others only allow you to double down on only ten or eleven. Can you split aces just once or up to four times?

There are lots of different rules that make a difference on what the house advantage of a blackjack game might be. Casual players usually dont fully understand how these minor changes can make a big difference in the hold, and that is where the casino tricks you into playing a bad game.

Nobody is sitting at a blackjack table and trying to mess things up, but that is absolutely what happens more times than not. Blackjack might be more fun, but that doesnt mean it is the better game. When you are playing baccarat, the house essentially protects you from yourself, as they dont allow you to jump in and change the house advantage by playing poorly. That inability to play baccarat better or worse keeps the actual hold very close to the theo hold on a baccarat table.

A standard baccarat game is going to hold less than 2% and when you compare that to a BJ game that will easily hold double digits, these games arent close in terms of giving players a chance to win money.
