Most know The Linq Promenade leads to the High Roller observation wheel, but what is often missed are a bevy of beer options, many spotlighting Las Vegas local breweries, making the Promenade one-stop shopping for homegrown suds from 11 of Vegas breweries.

Its best to fortify your stomach first, and what goes better with beer than pizza? Flour & Barley, an ideal name for a restaurant specializing in pizza and beer, serves 14 unique brick-oven pizzas along with 40 beers, including locals like CraftHaus Belgard Coffee Stout, Lovelady 9th Island Pineapple Sour and FB Cerveza, a Mexican-style lager made by Tenaya Creek. People see almost 50 beers and can be overwhelmed, so we educate them, ask what kind of beer they like and suggest craft beers to fit their taste, said bartender/manager Keith Ebling.

Virgils Real Barbecues cuisine pairs well with its 35 beers, including locals such as 7Five Dawn Breaker Lager, Able Baker Calutron Girl Mango Hefeweizen and Big Dogs Dirty Dog IPA.

The aptly named ameriCAN features 75 U.S. beers. A patriotic theme is prevalent, with several U.S. flags (one made out of license plates). There are a dozen Vegas brews, including Astronomy Golden Ale and Bad Beat Bluffing Isnt Weise. Bar manager Robert Wilk said, Local beer is always a go-to; I tell customers, Youre in Vegas, try something new.

The award for the largest selection goes to Yard House; its 180-tap selection qualifies as the largest on the Strip. Ask for the local beer menu, which lists 20 from eight breweries, including Banger Morning Joe Coffee Kolsch, Hop Nuts Golden Knight Strong Ale and HUDL Super Mini Pale Lager. Good luck making a choice!

This roundup of beer venues within the Linq Promenade is by no means comprehensive. If you have time, theres also OSheas Irish pub with 50 beers and the Scottish-themed Tilted Kilt with 45 taps.
