Chandler Hoffman made his first professional start in over a year, as he laced up for the LA Galaxy in CONCACAF Champions' League action. Hoffman went the full 90 minutes as his team defeated Isidro Metapan by a score of 1-0 in Carson.

Former Union wingers Justin Mapp and Shea Salinas went head-to-head in CCL play last week (sort of). Mapp was subbed out in the 74th minute, just as Salinas came in. He would go on to score a goal ten minutes later as the Earthquakes trampled the Impact 3-0. In MLS play, Mapp's team was defeated 3-0 once again, this time by the Whitecaps. Salinas assisted on Lenhart's winner in the 21st minute, before he was subbed out in the 74th minute. As I'm writing this article, Shea Salinas' Twitter follower count is up to 3047. Take out the three and the zero, rearrange the remaining numbers and SEVENTY-FOUR. The field at Buck Shaw is 74 yards wide. Illuminati.

Jordan Harvey helped his Vancouver side shut out the Montreal Impact in Saputo Stadium. The 'Caps are currently four points out of a playoff spot with a game in hand.

Andrew Jacobson and FC Dallas had one job. It's really no surprise; however, that a stumbling FCD lost to the Supporters' Shield-leading New York Red Bulls in Harrison. New York made it harder than it needed to be, of course, and their sloppy play was excused by an Erick own goal. The Sounders have two games in hand on the Red Bulls, so the odds that they remain cupless are still pretty good.

Gabriel Farfan couldn't even make the bench for a Chivas squad that lost to Houston by a tally of 5-1. It's safe to assume that Farfan isn't loving his new squad.

Toni Sthl's Ft. Lauderdale Strikers were defeated by the Cosmos 2-0 in the Sunshine State. The loss bumps the Strikers down to 5th place.

Michael Orozco and Puebla have two draws in Liga MX play under their new manager, Rubn Omar Romano. Orozco appears to be in Romano's plans, as he has started both league matches under his new gaffer. Rubn Omar Romano let someone take a casual picture of him once.
