Step 1: Go to Settings > About Phone > Build Number and tap it 7 times, in order to enable Developer Options. From this menu, select USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking.

Step 2: Download Galaxy S8/S8+ CF Auto Root file From above, then extract the file.

Step 3: Download the Odin tool Download and extract the .zip file.

Step 4: Run the Odin.exe file on your PC.

Step 5: Connect the phone to a PC, using a data cable, and reboot it into Download/Odin mode. In order to do this, turn off the phone, then hold the Bixby and volume down buttons. Then, press the Power button, until you see the Download mode screen.

Step 6: After entering Download mode, you will see the ID:COM port turning blue, then the Added message in Odin. This means that the phone was recognized and youre ready to root it.

Step 7: Locate the CF_Auto_root_xxx.tar file and put it in the AP/PDA tab.

Step 8: Make sure the Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time options are checked.

Step 9: Tap the Start button, which starts flashing the file. Wait for about 10 minutes, until you see the Pass message in Odin.
