The hotel is very nice. Beautiful area in the Smoky Mountains. The Museum of the Cherokee Indian is a must see if visiting the area, especially if losing too much money gambling! Also go to one of the bonfires during the week. The room was updated and very clean. View was terrible, but what do you expect for a comp. the casino is very large and was quite crowded. Masks are required but very little social distancing. No smoking in the casino is definitely a breath of fresh air! Having dinner was challenging. I was unable to find an available reservation online using Open Table. I went to Brio and the expected wait time was 20 minutes. Unfortunately, a power failure hosed up Brios computers and they were unable to seat anyone. Waited over an hour and gave up. Went to Wicked Weed for early dinner. Plank Salmon with brocolini was fabulous! Cous cous was a bit undercooked, but when your hungry, everything tastes good. Pam my server was attentive and friendly. They have a wonderful selection of brews. IPA ale was very good and reasonably priced. Other meals I had at the food court. Not a lot of choices, just a place to satisfy hunger. I will definitely be back.
