The film sets up a much bigger role for Will Turner in the franchise's future, with Will Turner's Flying Dutchman curse being broken at the end of the film. Because of this, he is able to reunite with his son Henry and partner Elizabeth, meaning that he can make his true return as the protagonist of the franchise in Pirates of the Caribbean 6.

Davy Jones is by far the most popular villain in the franchise, meaning that his grand return in Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is pretty likely.
