The property opened asHarrah'sat Trump Plazaon May 14, 1984.

Donald Trump himselfwas no longer an owner at the time of its closure.

Billionaire CarlIcahn assumed ownership of Trumps former casino company from bankruptcy courtin 2016.

The 10.5-acreproperty where the Plaza sits is owned by Icahn.

The property sits atthe center of the Atlantic City Boardwalk, at the foot of the Atlantic City Expressway.

Once cleanup iscomplete, city officials hope the property can be sold or leased and thendeveloped.

City officials hopeanother casino wont be built, and are pushing for more family entertainment.

ThePlaza sits at Boardwalk and Mississippi Avenue.

ThePlaza stands at 321 feet tall, with 32 floors overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Thelast game ever played in the casino was a game of Blackjack on September 26,2014.

The East Tower opened in twophases, in October 1995 and February 1996.The expansion continued withthe May 1996 opening of Trump World's Fair. The renovation cost is $48 million.
