CAJUN COUNTRY QUILTERS: RAIL FENCE QUILT BLOCKS CLASS: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Ascension Parish Library, Dutchtown branch.Cajun Country Quilters of Gonzales will be on hand to lead a course in creating rail fence quilt blocks that can be used to make a variety of items such as table runners or pillow covers. Attendees need basic sewing skills and need to bring the following: a sewing machine with a manual, attachments, thread, scissors, a seam ripper, and straight pins.
