In one such series Mr. Akram Hoque, Founder-Editor of The Policy Times interviewed Dr. N Balakrishnan, Founder, Integrated International Holistic Cure Centre, India, one of Indias renowned alternative care or more precisely Ayurveda doctor.

Ayurveda has emerged as one of the most sought-after alternative medical care in India and getting rapidly popular in the world. The market value of Ayurveda in India was INR 300 billion in 2018 Billion and is expanding 16% annually and the market is predicted to expand INR 710.87 billion by 2024. In 2018, around 75% of Indian households used Ayurvedic products against only 67% in 2015. It is a promising field and Dr. Balakrishnan is one of the renowned figures in the field.

As an engineer, I used to think human beings are super computers, and if we could go about devising human treatment like servicing computers by aligning opposite elements and making them work in tandem. From a medical point of view, humans have bilateral organs and in Ayurvedic Panchmahabhoot philosophy human body is made up of five basic elements viz. Space, Air, Fire, Water & Earth akin to nucleotides of DNA. At the onset of a disease, the proportion of these five elements could change, and if we could align the elements of both bilateral organs and balance those by making them work in tandem. Thus, I came up with Finger Tip Revolution(FTR) which is a unique method of keeping your fingers of both hands in a particular sequence suited to your constitution and it is different than Reiki or other palm or fingertip treatment. By a comprehensive understanding of nature, divine creator, and human system matrix I could design treatment through mathematical calculation and align the elements of bilateral organs.

I would go with the thousands of-year-old Ayurvedic Panchmahabhoot philosophy human structure and try to find a treatment by realigning macrocosm and microcosm of the human system matrix.

Recently, I have brought first-of-its-kind water-based bio-film spray Aquanative, with treated herbal water and nano-particles and it is super effective in case of pain, inflammation and provides protection against virus transmission if used within 30 minutes post-vaccination for covid-19 and also effective for other viruses and bacteria for people of any age. The product is ready and our primary market in India but we would also like to have global outreach for this product. We plan to raise 2 crores for initial funding of this product and we aim to capture 1% of the global market(total 50BN) in the next 5 years.

In his concluding remark Dr. Sekhar brought out an apt comprehensive summary of the current scenario, even today in India Ayurveda is considered alternative medical care but Ayurveda is gaining a steady foothold in the world from Europe to now Middle-East. It is remarkable for Dr. Balakrishnan to venture into the field of engineering to healthcare and medicine. Although Ayurveda time-tested healthcare system it would need a comprehensive and time-appropriate scientific outlook and documentation for it to gain the desired traction. Every claim needs to be validated scientifically for it to gain trust and global acceptance.
