A Mississauga Acupuncturist Has Been Charged For Sexually Assaulting A Woman During Her Treatment And Police Believe More Victims Are Out There -…

The Special Victims Unit of the Peel Regional Police have arrested a 51-year-old man in relation to a sexual assault at an acupuncture clinic last month.

In September this year, police allege that a 37-year-old woman attended the Hanbit Alternative Medicine Clinic in Mississauga for an acupuncture treatment. While there, the woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by the acupuncturist.

Jong Chul Kim, of Oakville, has been charged with one count of sexual assault.

He appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on September 29, 2021.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation, as Kim is known to practice acupuncture at another location of the Hanbit Alternative Medicine Clinic in Oakville. Investigators believe that there may be more victims.

Jong Chul Kims picture has been released in hopes that he is recognized and additional victims will come forward.
