Insom The Raving Religion Promo Mix December 2012
Insom aka Gabriel Mentis was born in 1987 and raised in Athens, Greece. From an early age he got a taste for music learning to play the piano and violin, until 2002 when he discovered Cubase. After a while of learning how to lay down beats he started producing drum bass, mostly neurofunk releasing his first free EP #39;Fire #39; in 2009. In 2011 Insom had his first official release with the track #39;Times of Terror #39;, which came out on Germany #39;s biggest drum bass label Trust In Music on their Last Second Chance EP. Since then he has gone on to have releases on Ammunition, Close to Death, Genome, VIM, Dephunked, In Da Jungle, Melting Pot and Extent Recordings. Insom is also part of Urban Danja and Dub Riots and is also known to produce dubstep, breaks, hip hop beats for mc #39;s and experimental sounds.
