Nelson Torres

ELYRIA A city man who tried to convince two teenage girls to have sexual relations with him in order to receive points they could convert to cash from the Illuminati has pleaded guilty to felony gross sexual imposition and misdemeanor sexual imposition charges.

As part of the plea agreement reached Tuesday, Lorain County Common Pleas Judge Mark Betleski told Nelson Torres, 36, that he will likely impose a sentence of probation with a maximum of 90 days in the Lorain County Jail.

But county Prosecutor Dennis Will said hed like to see a longer sentence because of Torres past conviction on misdemeanor charges for using the same lines on a woman who had sought a job at a Lorain pizzeria he managed a decade ago.

In light of his previous method thats consistent with what he used here, the Illuminati and all that, were going to argue strongly for incarceration, Will said.

A teenage girl who Torres knew told police that he propositioned her in December by telling her about a secret group they could join and earn points by performing tasks, according to court documents filed by prosecutors in the case.

Torres told the girl that it wasnt illegal, but that she would have to go out of her comfort zone in order to get points, which would lead to them getting more money.

When the girl agreed later in the day, he took her into a bedroom and pretended to be on the phone with the Illuminati, whom he said were watching through hidden cameras, Assistant County Prosecutor Chris Pierre wrote in court documents.

After asking the girl a few questions, Torres told her to remove her clothes, Pierre wrote. Torres then began to touch her and the girl asked if he was going to rape her. She then told him that she didnt want to continue and left.

As she was leaving, Torres told her that they wouldnt get any money and asked if she planned to report what happened.
