Sharon Osbourne Talks About her Double Mastectomy Sharon Osbourne has appeared on US TV to talk about the reasons behind her decision to have a double mastectomy. Speaking on her daytime chat show #39;The Talk #39;, Sharon revealed she found out she had the breast cancer gene after having a genome test, which identifies changes in chromosomes, genes or proteins, with her husband, Ozzy. "I went in and I had my breast implants removed because of one of them had burst and all of it had gone into the wall of my stomach," she said. "But before that I #39;d had a genome test with my husband, which is a very sophisticated test which costs a fortune but we had it done for free because they wanted to know why my husband had lived so long! "It came back and he has nothing... the only thing they found out is he #39;s allergic to coffee. I come back with a whole shopping list.
