Shaquille O’Neal stops to help driver stranded on the side of the road – Yahoo Sports

Shaquille ONeal did a good thing for a family that needed help. After witnessing a car stranded on the side of the road, ONeal pulled over, made sure the family was OK and stayed with them until sheriffs arrived.

No, really. That happened. Theres video of ONeal at the scene.

The footage which was captured via a Alachua County Sheriff dashcam shows an officer briefly chatting with ONeal. The officer thanks ONeal for stopping to make sure everyone was OK. The officer asks if everyone was alright, and a woman responds that a tire blew out. The video ends with ONeal still standing near the car as officers speak with the woman. The incident happened on I-75 in Florida. ONeal lives near Orlando.

ONeal, 48, isnt the first athlete to help a stranded motorist. In 2019, Indianapolis Colts linebacker Darius Leonard pulled over to help a woman change her tire on Easter.

It appears everyone involved in the I-75 incident is OK, which is great. On top of that, they now have an entertaining Shaq story to share with their friends.
