After two major replacement that led to some adequate controversy, it seems like the Doctor Strange sequel is ready to take off. The filming had to face some considerable delaying, and now we have some significant details about the film.
Doctor Strange in The Multiverse Of Madness is all set to be a part of the fourth film of Marvels fourth phase. The sequel is scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 7, 2021. The film is going to be out after two big projects Black Widow and The Eternals.
Although Scott Derrickson is no longer going to be behind the cameras for this film, he earlier hinted towards the fact that this film is the first scary MCU movie and that it will embrace both the Gothic and the horror. This is the unusual feature that made Scott fall in love with the sequel.

As far as the antagonist of the sequel is concerned, fans are speculating that the unleashing evil of the sequel might be the Nightmare. He can appear as the main villain in Doctor Strange 2. Scott Derrickson will continue to be the executive producer of the film; however, he had to step down from the role of the director due to some creative differences. There are no hard feelings between him and the studios, and he still continues to hype the upcoming new Marvel films as well. The studio has also replaced the writer as per the latest rumors go.
