Travel Agent is making the most of Caribbean Week New York by hosting a series of Facebook Live discussions with many of the major Caribbean tourism figures who will be in the Big Apple for the week-long celebration.

Taking place at our offices in midtown Manhattan, Joe Pike, senior editor for Travel Agent, will be sitting down with Caribbean tourism ministers, directors, CEOs and other important figures in Caribbean tourism. You can watch the interviews here:

Also, be sure to follow http://www.travelagentcentral.com for our coverage of Caribbean Weeks closing press conference hosted by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO). Taking place on June 8, CTO Secretary General Hugh Riley will introduce new CTO Chairman Dionisio James DAguilar, minister of tourism, aviation and Bahamasair for the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism.

Also, the CTO is signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Travel Foundation, which provides a framework of cooperation and collaboration in areas contributing to the sustainable tourism development of the Caribbean.

Taking place June 4-10, as a celebration of the sights, sounds, color and culture of the Caribbean, the week combines business sessions and consumer-oriented events with Caribbean-inspired food, lively entertainment and networking opportunities.
