There are many advantages to taking casino playing online rather than keeping to land-based casinos. For a start, the games that are on offer are available 24/7 regardless of your location or what you are doing, and with the ever-improving graphics and the availability to play live or video games such as video poker and live roulette games, the thrill can be just as good as attending a casino in the flesh.

Of course, it is not just the everyday regular person that takes enjoyment from these online sites. Indeed there are plenty of stars that are taking part and enjoying the thrill without the constant hounding of camera crews, media, or indeed paparazzi. Just a few stars that are rumored to take part in these fun pastime antics are mentioned below.

Matt Damon is famous for the role he played in the billion-dollar Jason Bourne franchise as well as The Talented Mr. Ripley, and it is rumored that he has an enjoyment for a game or two of Texas Holdem and accompanying his close friend Ben Afflick to games.

Tiger Woods is well-known for his talents on the Golf course after 107 worldwide wins and is known to take his competitiveness into his private life and enjoy an evening at the casino, so it stands to reason that the rumors about him enjoying online gambling sites are probably true.

Pamela Anderson, famous for her role as the busty blonde in Baywatch, was a well-known face at the table games in land-based casinos and her love of playing at the poker tables is a given as this is where she met her husband. It is ventured that she now enjoys playing casino games online as well s in person.

James Woods, the American actor who starred in such films as Vampires (1998), and Videodrome (1983), is a self-professed gambler. Not only does he enjoy a visit to a land-based casino, but he was one of the first actors to endorse celebrity poker for online casinos. It is, therefore, not hard to believe that he also enjoys an evening, or any time of the day, playing games at one or other online casino venues.

Ben Affleck is not only a very prominent actor but also a screenwriter and filmmaker who played Batman in the DCEU and the Lost Kingdom, amongst others. There have been rumors about the star having gambling issues which he has had to control. It is no secret, especially as certain land-based casinos have banned him, that he likes to play table games, and it is highly likely that he now spends time visiting online casinos to continue playing the card games that he enjoys so much.

So, as you see, online casino sites can be enjoyed by many. It is important, though, that you are aware of the laws and regulations of the state or country that you are visiting before you proceed with the pastime that you have in mind, as there are, in some places, penalties for getting involved.
