How do you fancy jacking in the nine-to-five and starting a new life on an exotic island? Well now you can with the slight catch that you will still have to work.

A wealthy family is recruiting a couple to take over the domestic management of their household on their private island in the Bahamas.

They are looking for a couple who are experienced in domestic duties and household management, so, if that sounds like you, you could be in for an epic change of scenery.

As well as the private island, they also own a vast estate in Naples, Florida, just in case those sparkling blue waters and sandy beaches start to get a little monotonous.

Naturally, hopping between the two residences will all be via the familys private jet.

And the salary for the right couple is around 90,000. Which isnt to be sniffed at.

If that wasnt enough, the employment package also includes accommodation, health care and dental benefits.

And with weekends off, there is plenty of time for rest and relaxation whether thats swimming with pigs in the nearby Exumas, enjoying some of the best diving and watersports in the world, or simply basking in the sun and gazing at palm-fringed beaches.

Of course, you will be spending your time during weekdays, cleaning, organising and managing the familys vast estates both in the Bahamas and Florida. And with the Bahamas estate consisting of four homes with four bedrooms in each, that is no small undertaking.

They are looking for an experienced couple to become long-term team members to help manage and care for their homes, and travel with them.

Lucy Challenger, founder of domestic recruiter Polo & Tweed, said: This really is a once-in-a-lifetime position. So much so that the client laughingly told me that he was tempted to apply for the job himself.

Needless to say, we have been inundated with replies since the job went live on our website over the weekend. But weve yet to compile a short list so we would urge interested couples to send through their CVs without delay.
