How Immortalboost.com Connects Gamers and Cryptocurrency – TheXboxHub

Posted: at 11:30 am

Nearly 300 million people use crypto as their first payment method for anything. That number is getting bigger and bigger every coming year. The crypto market is increasing daily, as of writing this it has hit an all-time high of 2.54 trillion dollars. The most famous cryptocurrency Bitcoin has almost hit the 70,000 dollars mark. While the whole world is now beginning to accept the whole blockchain thing.

Cryptocurrencies are now blending into our everyday lives yet still some people are left wondering about what crypto is. One day bitcoin might be the worlds currency but its a long shot, to say the least as of now.

The gaming industry is growing at a 15% CAGR and is currently worth over 200 billion dollars. Which is more than the music, and film industries combined. And it is expected to take over the world sports industry by 2030. The gaming industry is also getting more and more mainstream as time is passing on.

So in this blog, Ill be talking about a startup that is eight years old and how it is connecting the gaming world to cryptocurrency. In this blog, we will get to know how gamers can get connected with cryptocurrency and how they can take advantage of this new-age technology.

The start-ups name is Immortalboost and they are an online gaming marketplace. While multiple startups are doing these types of work in other sectors. in online gaming places Immortal Boost is one of the first few. So in the blog, Ill talk about what Immortal Boost is and what they do. Finally we will talk about how they are connecting gamers and Cryptocurrencies.

Immortal Boost is an online gaming marketplace. Immortal Boost focuses on providing boosting for several popular multiplayer games like Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, Dota, and Rocket League. Immortal Boost also sells gaming accounts for them which most of the other websites dont do. In short Immortal Boost is a one-stop shop for boosting and account buying. Their catalog is also bigger than most of the other websites.

Immortal Boost has been doing this since the early 2016s and they catered to several thousand customers in these years. Boosting up several hundred positive reviews for their services. The reason for their success is that Immortal Boost provides boosting at very affordable prices while giving a top-notch service. This is the reason that they have such a high retention rate.

Now that you know what immortal boosts do and how long they have been doing it. Lets talk about how they are connecting gamers to cryptocurrency.

The way that Immortal Boost is connecting gamers to cryptocurrencies is by enabling them to pay for their services in crypto. What these represent is that a very niche marketplace is using crypto as their payment method and if youre not a gamer you might not even know what boosting is and thats how niche they really are!

And if niche marketplaces can do that then this can change the way we perceive cryptocurrencies. If we can pay for things with crypto then why would anyone need cash or traditional payment instruments?

Not only does Immortal Boost allow their customers to pay with crypto but they also pay out their boosters in cryptocurrency. So let me explain what boosters are. Boosters are the players who play on the accounts of the customers to increase their in-game rank. So if a booster prefers to get paid for its services he can get paid in crypto by immortal boost.

As I said earlier they are one of the few websites that sells gaming accounts while also being able to provide boosting for more than a dozen games. On top of that people prefer them because they are doing this for so long and seamlessly.

In addition to that gamers who are into crypto prefer them because they are again one of the few companies that take crypto as a payment gateway and it makes life easier for these gamers to just pay for their services with crypto.

Immortal Boost has an experienced team of professional customer care agents with 24/7 uptime. So even if someone gets caught in a scam or just gets confused with the process they can just simply dial up the customer care number and can get sorted out of their problem pretty quickly and seamlessly.

Solana volume leapfrogs Ethereum as memecoin frenzy seen sending price to $415 – DLNews

Posted: at 11:30 am

One analyst predicts Solana will reach a record $1,000 price after another memecoin frenzy pushed its weekend trading volumes higher than those of rival cryptocurrency Ethereum.

Solana generated over $6.3 billion in total trading volume on March 16 and 17 compared to Ethereums $4.4 billion, according to DefiLlama.

Solana has effectively become the peoples coin, with the potential to reach $415, and even as high as $1,000, Pav Hundal, lead market analyst at crypto exchange Swyftx, told DL News.

A similar rally on March 3 saw higher trading volume on Solana than on Ethereum.

Stay ahead of the game with our weekly newsletters

The cryptocurrency achieved an all-time high of $260 in November 2021.

Memecoins are cryptocurrencies inspired by internet jokes or memes.

They often become popular quickly due to social media and celebrity endorsements.

The expectations around Solana is another sign the bull market is gathering momentum.

Join the community to get our latest stories and updates

Even so, the Solana network is still haunted by repeated outages while Ethereums recent Dencun upgrade is expected to make the rival digital asset much cheaper to use.

This development could become a drag on Solana and prevent it from overtaking Ethereum.

Solana-based memecoins like dogwifhat, and Ethereums very high gas fees have catapulted activity to higher levels, Hundal said.

The market is raining down liquidity on Solana at the moment, Hundal said. Ethereum has been brought to heel by its own gas fees and that this, in turn, [is] pushing users into the Solana ecosystem.

Dex Screener, an analytics platform monitoring trading on decentralised exchanges, showed that the top five memecoins by volume in the last 24 hours on Solana were SLERF, SNAP, BOOK OF MEME, NOSTALGIA, and dogwifhat.

Solana is up 103% from January 1 and is trading at $208 on Monday morning, London time.

The surge has driven Solana past Binances BNB token to becoming the fourth biggest cryptocurrency by total value, CoinGecko data shows.

However, its total market value of $89 billion still trails the total values of Tether, Ethereum and Bitcoin, which clock are $103 billion, $430 billion and $1.3 trillion respectively.

Inside facility storing hundreds of corpses with the hope of using technology to restore them to full health – UNILAD

Posted: at 11:30 am

Ever thought about being resurrected in the future?

Apparently, a lot of people have thought about that theyd like to do long after the rest of us have passed to the other side and its pretty weird.

If youve not heard about the popular cryogenic freezing trend, then youre in luck.

No, its not just something Star Wars made up, its actually happening right now.

The Alcor Life Extension Foundation based in Arizona is a facility which freezes corpses and places them inside of a cryonic chamber, filled with liquid nitrogen in the hopes that one day they will have the technology available to resurrect those inside.

If you think thats strangeyoure in for a treat.

At the facility, there are more than 200 corpses already, with over 100 individual heads chosen to be preserved on their own.

On their website, the Alcor foundation states: Cryonics is the practice of preserving life by pausing the dying process using subfreezing temperatures with the intent of restoring good health with medical technology in the future.

The definitions of death change over time as medical understanding and technology improve. Someone who wouldve been declared dead decades ago may still have a chance today.

"Death used to be when a persons heart stopped, then when their heart couldnt be restarted, and is now being extended further.

The organisation claims to be pausing the dying process by preserving bodies and heads.

Having spent 52 years preserving people, Alcor was first incorporated in 1972 by Fred and Linda Chamberlain.

But the crazy thing? Fred is now cryopreserved, and Linda still works there.

So, what do you get if you think this sounds like something youre into?

According to the website, youll receive:

There's even the chance to get your treasured pets also cryogenically frozen as well - if you are a member of course.

According to the website, the price for a straight freeze of the whole body is estimated at $29,600 at a low temperature, whereas it's $129,300 for a higher freeze.

Hmm, Ill pass on this but if anyone else wants to take a gamble, feel free!

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Cognition Emerges From Stealth to Launch AI Software Engineer Devin Shubham Sharma | VentureBeat The human user simply types a natural language prompt into Devins chatbot style interface, and the AI software engineer takes it from there, developing a detailed, step-by-step plan to tackle the problem. It then begins the project using its developer tools, just like how a human would use them, writing its own code, fixing issues, testing and reporting on its progress in real-time, allowing the user to keep an eye on everything as it works.

Covariant Announces a Universal AI Platform for Robots Evan Ackerman | IEEE Spectrum [On Monday, Covariant announced] RFM-1, which the company describes as a robotics foundation model that gives robots the human-like ability to reason. Thats from the press release, and while I wouldnt necessarily read too much into human-like or reason, what Covariant has going on here is pretty cool. Our existing system is already good enough to do very fast, very variable pick and place, says Covariant co-founder Pieter Abbeel. But were now taking it quite a bit further. Any task, any embodimentthats the long-term vision. Robotics foundation models powering billions of robots across the world.'

Cerebras Unveils Its Next Waferscale AI Chip Samuel K. Moore | IEEE Spectrum Cerebras says its next generation of waferscale AI chips can do double the performance of the previous generation while consuming the same amount of power. The Wafer Scale Engine 3 (WSE-3) contains 4 trillion transistors, a more than 50 percent increase over the previous generation thanks to the use of newer chipmaking technology. The company says it will use the WSE-3 in a new generation of AI computers, which are now being installed in a datacenter in Dallas to form a supercomputer capable of 8 exaflops (8 billion billion floating point operations per second).

SpaceX Celebrates Major Progress on the Third Flight of Starship Stephen Clarke | Ars Technica SpaceXs new-generation Starship rocket, the most powerful and largest launcher ever built, flew halfway around the world following liftoff from South Texas on Thursday, accomplishing a key demonstration of its ability to carry heavyweight payloads into low-Earth orbit. The successful launch builds on two Starship test flights last year that achieved some, but not all, of their objectives and appears to put the privately funded rocket program on course to begin launching satellites, allowing SpaceX to ramp up the already-blistering pace of Starlink deployments.

This Self-Driving Startup Is Using Generative AI to Predict Traffic James ODonnell | MIT Technology Review The new system, called Copilot4D, was trained on troves of data from lidar sensors, which use light to sense how far away objects are. If you prompt the model with a situation, like a driver recklessly merging onto a highway at high speed, it predicts how the surrounding vehicles will move, then generates a lidar representation of 5 to 10 seconds into the future (showing a pileup, perhaps).

Electric Cars Are Still Not Good Enough Andrew Moseman | The Atlantic The next phase, when electric cars leap from early adoption to mass adoption, depends on the people [David] Rapson calls the pragmatists: Americans who will buy whichever car they deem best and who are waiting for their worries about price, range, and charging to be allayed before they go electric. Palia reaches over 3m players in six months thanks to "invaluable" Switch partnership – GamesIndustry.biz

Posted: at 11:30 am

Singularity 6's cosy MMO Palia has reached over 3 million players in six months ahead of its launch on Steam on March 25.

The studio's debut title a fantasy mix of life simulation and MMORPG launched last August with a PC open beta via its own website and launcher, followed by a release on the Epic Games Store in October. The game then launched on Nintendo Switch in December.

As for how Palia achieved this feat, Singularity 6 director of business strategy Yu Sian Tan tells GamesIndustry.biz it was a combination of captivating players and the game's release on Nintendo Switch.

"We believe that we struck a chord with players when we wanted to expand the community sim experience by making it more social, creating an environment that encourages players to be kind to one another and having an overarching narrative that players can dive into," she says, adding that Nintendo's involvement and supporting in development and marketing aided an increase in player numbers.

"[Their support] is invaluable to us as a new game studio," Tan adds. "After our launch on the Nintendo Switch, our partnership with Nintendo has only grown stronger."

Tan says Palia's launch on Nintendo provided a "big boost" to the title compared to the PC open beta due to the "flexibility" of the portable console.

"It also meant we were launching on a new platform and now supported cross-platform play so things definitely got a lot more interesting for the team," she says.

Despite this boost in player numbers, Tan notes that maintaining player engagement is one of the biggest challenges of overseeing the success of a free-to-play MMO.

"The free-to-play approach can be challenging because it involves a bit of a balancing act between offering engaging gameplay for free, but also introducing effective monetisation strategies that do not alienate players or cause unnecessary pressure that would run antithetical to the cosy community sim gameplay we are trying to encourage in Palia," she explains.

Tan highlights that the main obstacle with free-to-play is the ability to engage players over a long period of time when they haven't paid an upfront cost for the game, as well as keeping the game fresh as a live service product.

"I'd love to be able to say it's easy to predict what our players love to play and how they would engage with our content, but every time we release something new to our players, we constantly learn and evolve our understanding of our playerbase," she says.

"Every time we release something new to our players, we constantly learn and evolve our understanding of our playerbase"

"It's a mix of offering up content with our own unique spin on it that appeals to the player archetypes we expect to be attracted to Palia, but also throwing in new experiences to help players discover something that they might not have expected to like."

In terms of the live service aspect of the game, Tan describes adapting the title to this model as a "learning curve" for the studio, and that its live operations team has been instrumental in understanding concerns raised by its development team and ensuring their needs are met.

"We have definitely been working on improving our platform testing over time to understand what we need to test and where to test it to ensure we minimise our risk and maximise confidence," she notes.

"We have also been working on unifying the gameplay experience between platforms where it makes sense, without sacrificing the player experience. This has been a conscious effort for us as there are trade-offs we have to make, but this is key to ensure we can sustainably release content on multiple platforms in the future."

Among the lessons learned during development, Tan highlights that the game starting as an open beta on PC enabled the studio to comfortably launch the game on Switch, and helped lay the groundwork to bring the game to a bigger audience.

"There have been so many lessons we have learned along the way from building our own launcher/patcher on PC from scratch [to creating] robust monitoring systems and a scalable infrastructure that could handle the ebbs and flows in our playerbase," she says.

As for advice she has for developers working on similar free-to-play and live service products, Tan says it all comes down to the strength of the development team itself.

"The most important factor is to have a strong development team who trusts each other to band together and support each other throughout the ups and downs," she highlights. "Accept that you cannot plan for everything, so it's important to have established processes for how you deal with issues when they come up and how you take the lessons and apply them going forward."

Will AI save humanity? U.S. tech fest offers reality check – Japan Today

Posted: at 11:29 am

Artificial intelligence aficionados are betting that the technology will help solve humanity's biggest problems, from wars to global warming, but in practice, these may be unrealistic ambitions for now.

"It's not about asking AI 'Hey, this is a sticky problem. What would you do?' and AI is like, 'well, you need to completely restructure this part of the economy,'" said Michael Littman, a Brown University professor of computer science.

Littman was at the South By Southwest (or SXSW) arts and technology festival in Austin, Texas, where he had just spoken on one of the many panels on the potential benefits of AI.

"It's a pipe dream. It's a little bit science fiction. Mostly what people are doing is they're trying to bring AI to bear on specific problems that they're already solving, but just want to be more efficient.

"It's not just a matter of pushing this button and everything's fixed," he said.

With their promising titles ("How to Make AGI Beneficial and Avoid a Robot Apocalypse"), and the ever presence of tech giants, the panels attract big crowds, but they often hold more pragmatic objectives, like promoting a product.

At one meeting called "Inside the AI Revolution: How AI is Empowering the World to Achieve More," Simi Olabisi, a Microsoft executive, praised the tech's benefits on Azure, the company's cloud service.

When using Azure's AI language feature in call centers, "maybe when a customer called in, they were angry, and when they ended the call, they were really appreciative. Azure AI Language can really capture that sentiment, and tell a business how their customers are feeling," she explained.

The notion of artificial intelligence, with its algorithms capable of automating tasks and analyzing mountains of data, has been around for decades.

But it took on a whole new dimension last year with the success of ChatGPT, the generative AI interface launched by OpenAI, the now iconic AI start-up mainly funded by Microsoft.

OpenAI claims to want to build artificial "general" intelligence or AGI, which will be "smarter than humans in general" and will "elevate humanity," according to CEO Sam Altman.

That ethos was very present at SXSW, with talk about "when" AGI will become a reality, rather than "if."

Ben Goertzel, a scientist who heads the SingularityNET Foundation and the AGI Society, predicted the advent of general AI by 2029.

"Once you have a machine that can think as well as a smart human, you're at most a few years from a machine that can think a thousand or a million times better than a smart human, because this AI can modify its own source code," said Goertzel.

Wearing a leopard-print faux-fur cowboy hat, he advocated the development of AGI endowed with "compassion and empathy," and integrated into robots "that look like us," to ensure that these "super AIs" get on well with humanity.

David Hanson - founder of Hanson Robotics and who designed Desdemona, a humanoid robot that functions with generative AI - brainstromed about the plus and minuses of AI with superpowers.

AI's "positive disruptions...can help to solve global sustainability issues, although people are probably going to be just creating financial trading algorithms that are absolutely effective," he said.

Hanson fears the turbulence from AI, but pointed out that humans are doing a "fine job" already of playing "existential roulette" with nuclear weapons and by causing "the fastest mass extinction event in human history."

But "it may be that the AI could have seeds of wisdom that blossom and grow into new forms of wisdom that can help us be better," he said.

Initially, AI should accelerate the design of new, more sustainable drugs or materials, said believers in AI.

Even if "we're not there yet... in a dream world, AI could handle the complexity and the randomness of the real world, and... discover completely new materials that would enable us to do things that we never even thought were possible," said Roxanne Tully, an investor at Piva Capital.

Today, AI is already proving its worth in warning systems for tornadoes and forest fires, for example.

But we still need to evacuate populations, or get people to agree to vaccinate themselves in the event of a pandemic, stressed Rayid Ghani of Carnegie Mellon University during a panel titled "Can AI Solve the Extreme Weather Pandemic?"

"We created this problem. Inequities weren't caused by AI, they're caused by humans and I think AI can help a little bit. But only if humans decide they want to use it to deal with" the issue, Ghani said.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the advent of artificial general intelligence (AGI) is upon us. OpenAI includes in its mission that it aims to maximize the positive impact of AGI while minimizing harm. The research organization recognizes that AGI wont create a utopia, but they strive to ensure that its benefits are widespread and that it doesnt exacerbate existing inequalities.

Some say that elements of AGI will be seen in GPT-5 that OpenAI says is currently in prerelease testing. GPT-5 is anticipated to be available by the end of this year or in 2025.

Others suggest that Magic AI, the expanding artificial intelligence (AI) developer and coding assistant, may have already developed a version of AGI. With a staggering ability to process 3.5million words, Aman Anand writes in Medium, It is important to remember that Magics model is still under development, and its true capabilities and limitations remain to be seen. While the potential for AGI is undeniable, it is crucial to approach this future with caution and a focus on responsible development.

Meanwhile Google Gemini 1.5 Pro version is leaping ahead of OpenAI models with a massive context capability:

This means 1.5 Pro can process vast amounts of information in one goincluding 1 hour of video, 11 hours of audio, codebases with over 30,000 lines of code or over 700,000 words. In our research, weve also successfully tested up to 10million tokens.

Accelerated by the intense competition to be the first to achieve AGI, it is not unreasonable to expect that at least certain of the parameters commonly describing AGI will conceivably be achieved by the end of this year, or almost certainly by 2026. AI researchers anticipate that

an AGI system should have the following abilities and understanding:

AI researchers also anticipate that AGI systems will possess higher-level capabilities, such as being able to do the following:

Given those characteristics, lets imagine a time, perhaps in four or five years, in which AGI has been achieved and has been rolled out across society. In that circumstance, it would seem that many of the jobs now performed by individuals could be more efficiently and less expensively completed by agents of AGI. Perhaps half or more of all jobs worldwide might be better done by AGI agents. At less cost, more reliability and instant, automatic updating, these virtual employees would be a bargain. Coupled with sophisticated robotics, some of which we are seeing rolled out today, even many hands-on skilled jobs will be efficiently and effectively done by computer. All will be immediately and constantly updated with the very latest discoveries, techniques and contextual approaches.

AGI is expected to be followed by artificial superintelligence (ASI):

ASI refers to AI technology that will match and then surpass the human mind. To be classed as an ASI, the technology would have to be more capable than a human in every single way possible. Not only could these AI things carry out tasks, but they would even be capable of having emotions and relationships.

What, then, will individual humans need to learn in higher education that cannot be provided instantly and expertly through their own personal ASI lifelong learning assistant?

ASI may easily provide up-to-the-minute responses to our intellectual curiosity and related questions. It will be able to provide personalized learning experiences; sophisticated simulations; personalized counseling and advising; and assess our abilities and skills to validate and credential our learning. ASI could efficiently provide recordkeeping in a massive database. In that way, there would be no confusion of comparative rankings and currency of credentials such as we see today.

In cases where we cannot achieve tasks on our own, ASI will direct virtual agents to carry out tasks for us. However, that may not fully satisfy the human-to-human and emotional interactions that seems basic to our nature. The human engagement, human affirmation and interpersonal connections may not be fulfilled by ASI and nonhuman agents. For example, some tasks are not as much about the outcome as they are the journey, such as music, art and performance. In those cases, it is the process of refining those abilities that are at least equal to the final product.

Is there something in the interpersonal, human-to-human engagement in such endeavors that is worthy of continuing in higher education rather than solely through computer-assisted achievement? If so, does that require a university campus? Certainly, the number of disciplines and therefore the number of faculty and staff members will fall out of popularity due to suppressed job markets in those fields.

If this vision of the next decade is on target, higher education is best advised to begin considering today how it will morph into something that serves society in the fourth industrial revolution. We must begin to:

Have you and your colleagues begun to consider the question of what you provide that could not be more efficiently and less expensively provided by AI? Have you begun to research and formulate plans to compete or add value to services that are likely to be provided by AGI/ASI? One good place to begin such research is by asking a variety of the current generative AI apps to share insights and make recommendations!
