Elon Musk’s dad, 76, confirms secret child with stepdaughter
Posted: August 29, 2022 at 8:15 am
Elon Musks lusty dad, Errol, has finally revealed he sired a secret second love child with his glamorous stepdaughter, Jana Bezuidenhout.
TheMuskpatriarch,76,welcomedthebabygirlwithJana,35,backin2019butonlyconfirmed thenewsonWednesday, bragging to the Sun: The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce.
The two already share a 5-year-old boy, Elliot Rush, born in 2017.
Errol clearly shares his most famous sons hearty desire to procreate, with his admission coming just a week after it was revealed Elon fathered twochildren with an executive at his artificial intelligence company Neuralink, weeks before his second child with ex-girlfriend Grimes was born.
Errol admitted Janas pregnancy was unplanned and told the publication that they are no longer living together, citing their 41-year age gap.
Its not practical.Shes 35, Errol declared. Eventually if Im still around, she might wind up back with me.
He added: Any man who marries a [younger] woman, even if you feel very sprightly, its going to be nice for a while, but theres a big gap and that gap is going to show itself.
The Musk family tree is complicated and is growing more so by the day. Errol has seven children, while Elon has fathered 10 offspring.
Errol who is a wealthy South African engineer married model Maye Haldeman Musk in 1970, with whom he had three children: Elon, Kimbal and Tosca.
The couple split in 1979, before Errol went on to wed HeideBezuidenhout, a young widow who already had two children, including Jana.
Errol and Heide had two biological children together, but he also helped raise Jana, who was just 4 years old when he became her stepfather. Errol and Heide eventually divorced after an 18-year marriage.
But the Musk family was subsequently stunned when Jana became pregnant with Errols baby back in 2017. It led to a bitter falling out between Errol and Elon, with the Tesla CEO furious that his father had impregnated his stepsister.
Errols other children were also shocked and uncomfortable about the surprise pregnancy.
They still dont like it, Errol admitted in his new interview with the Sun. They still feel a bit creepy about it, because shes their sister. Their half-sister.
Elon has not publicly commented on his fathers latest baby admission. The pair are still estranged, with Elon describing his dad as a terrible human being in an interview with Rolling Stone.
The Post has reached out to the Tesla CEO for comment.
Errol and Janas son, born in 2017, is named Elliot Rush and is nicknamed Rushi. Errol has not disclosed the name of their daughter, who was born in 2019.
Despite the fact they are no longer a couple, Errol said Jana and their two young children have come to stay at his home in Pretoria, South Africa.
They spent a few days here about six months ago. And the kids were starting to get on my nerves, he candidly stated. Then I miss them as soon as they have gone.
Errol admitted that he hadnt asked Jana for a paternity test to make sure he was the father of their now-3-year-old, saying: I havent checked her DNA. But she looks just like my other daughters So its pretty obvious, you know.
However, the wealthy businessman stated that there are other women claiming that he has also fathered their children.
I have about six people, women who claim that their child is my child right now. Obviously they are opportunists, he stated. [But] there was a period in Johannesburg in the 80s that I was going out with a different woman every night. I had plenty of dates. So its quite conceivable that one of them could actually come back and say, This is your child. Its possible.
Meanwhile, the elderly patriarch says he hasnt ruled out the possibility of having more children in the future: If I could have another child, I would. I cant see any reason not to.
Indeed, Errol (officially) has fewer children than his most famous son, Elon, 51, who is now a father of 10.
The Tesla CEO confirmed last week that he fathered twins with Shivon Zilis, a 36-year-old executive at his brain chip company Neuralink.
Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis, Musk tweeted out last Thursday. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far.
The twins whose names have not been disclosed were born just weeks before Musk welcomed his second child, Exa Dark Siderl, with Canadian pop star Grimes.
Musk and Grimes also have 2-year-old son X A-Xii.
The worlds richest man first became a father back in 2002, welcoming a son named Nevada with then-wife Justine Wilson.
Tragically, the babyboy died just 10 weeks later fromsudden infant death syndrome, or SIDS.
Elon and Justine went on to have five more children, twins Vivian and Griffin and triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian, before their divorce in 2008.

Elon Musk’s kids: Meet his 10 children and their mothers – Page Six
Posted: at 8:15 am
Elon Musks brood just keeps growing.
The Tesla mogul and one of his top Neuralink executives, Shivon Zilis, reportedly welcomed twins in November 2021, just one month before the arrival of his second child with on-again, off-again partner Grimes via surrogate.
The three newborns join Musks six other living children: Griffin, Vivian, Kai, Saxon, Damian and X.
Meet the billionaire businessmans kids and their mothers below.
After marrying in January 2000, Musk and Canadian author Justine Wilson welcomed son Nevada Alexander Musk in 2002. Nevada died of sudden infant death syndrome, or SIDS, at only 10 weeks.
After losing their firstborn, Musk and Wilson turned to IVF to grow their family. She gave birth to twins Griffin and Vivian Musk in April 2004. Griffin and Vivian are now 18.
Vivian came out as transgender in June 2022 when she filed a request to change her first name and take the last name of her mom.
The filing listed the reason as gender identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.
The former couple also used IVF to welcome triplet sons Kai, Saxon and Damian in January 2006. The trio are now 16.
Musk and Wilson divorced in 2008.
After two marriages to Westworld star Talulah Riley and a brief relationship with actress Amber Heard, Musk started dating singer Grimes in May 2018. She gave birth to their son, X AE A-XII, in May 2020. X is now 2.
X was originally named X A-12, but and 12 violated California law for not being part of the English alphabet, forcing his parents to change his name.
Page Six exclusively reported in September 2021 that Musk and Grimes had broken up.
Grimes revealed in March 2022 that she and the SpaceX founder had welcomed his first daughter, the unusually named Exa Dark Siderl Musk, via surrogate in December 2021. Exa was given the nickname Y after their other child being named X.
Grimes referred to Musk as her boyfriend in the bombshell Vanity Fair interview, though she called their relationship fluid. Hours after the cover story was published, however, she tweeted that they had since split again.
Muskquietly welcomed twinswith Neuralink director of operations and special projects Shivon Zilis in November 2021, according to court documents obtained byBusiness Insider in July 2022.
Musk and Zilis reportedly filed a petition to change the twins names in order to have their fathers last name and contain their mothers last name as part of their middle name, which a judge in Austin, Texas, approved in May 2022.
The newborns names are not yet known.

Elon Musk says he ‘somewhat agonized’ over the font design for Tesla and SpaceX, revealing the hidden meaning behind the swooping X – Yahoo News
Posted: at 8:15 am
Elon Musk said Sunday he "somewhat agonized" over the font designs for his companies Tesla and SpaceX.
The billionaire businessman added he "loves fonts" and has tweaked the logos over the years.
He revealed the SpaceX logo also holds a hidden meaning, representing a rocket's arc to orbit.
In a series of Sunday tweets, Elon Musk said he "somewhat agonized" over his choice of fonts for his businesses and revealed a hidden meaning behind the SpaceX logo.
Responding to a tweet about serif and sans-serif fonts, the billionaire businessman took a break from posting cryptic memes and discussing politics to say he loves fonts and put significant consideration into how his companies are presented to consumers.
"I somewhat agonized over the Tesla & SpaceX font design (love fonts tbh)," Musk tweeted. "There are some similarities, particularly use of negative space. We've made many little tweaks over the years."
The Tesla logo a T-shaped design with a custom, sans-serif font spelling out the brand name is meant to resemble a cross-section of an electric motor. The SpaceX logo, written in a similar font with an extended X, references the reusable rockets made by the company.
"The swoop of the X is meant to represent the rocket's arc to orbit," Musk tweeted.
Other business logos have also held hidden messages:Baskin Robbins, a chain that sells 31 flavors of ice cream, has a secret '31' hidden in the letters of its logo. Likewise, Amazon's arrow logo is meant to represent a smile, while the circular 'B' logo for Beats by Dre represents a person wearing the popular headphones.

Why Elon Musk makes his mother sleep in garage when she visits him – India Today

Maye Musk, mother of billionaire Elon Musk, has revealed that she forgoes the comfort of a proper bedroom and sleeps in the garage when she visits her son.
In an interview with The Times, 71-year-old Maye Musk said that despite being the richest man in the world, Elon Musk does not have a grand, ultra-luxurious home.
So whenever she drops by the SpaceX CEOs pad in Boca Chica, the location of the company's Texas headquarters and Starbase launch site, she has no choice but to spend the night sleeping in the garage.
The reason behind the unusual sleeping arrangement? You cant have a fancy house near a rocket site, quipped Maye Musk.
A couple of weeks ago, Elon Musk had said during a podcast that he lives in a very small house in Boca Chica worth $45,000. Prior to that, he had claimed in 2020 that he was selling almost all of his physical belongings and will own no house.

Doubling down on the Tesla CEOs assertion, Maye said in the interview that her son has no interest in material possessions.
Elon is the son of former supermodel Maye Haldeman and South African businessman Errol Musk, whom Maye divorced in 1979. Following the divorce, she moved to Canada with Elon and his siblings, Kimbal and Tosca.
Looking back on that time, Maye Musk said it was horrifying as the family suffered from ongoing money issues, and she constantly feared she wouldnt be able to feed her children.
There were hard times, she said, recalling how the family lived in a one-bedroom apartment and couldnt afford to buy new clothes.

Elon Musk warns of bigger threat to civilization than climate change – TweakTown
Posted: at 8:15 am
Elon Musk has once again taken to his personal Twitter account to warn about a great threat to civilization that he believes isn't talked about enough.
Musk took to his Twitter account on Friday, August 26, to state that population collapse due to low birth rates is a bigger threat to humanity than global warming. This isn't the first time Musk has warned about declining birthrates, as the SpaceX and Tesla CEO shared data from The Wall Street Journal back in June that showcased birthrates across the US failing to hit "sustainable" levels for more than 50 years.
In the same post, Musk shared a video of him stating that population collapse will be the biggest problem the world will face in 20 years, with birthrates exponentially slowing down and the rate of death increasing. Musk emphasized his recent statement of declining birthrates being a bigger problem than global warming by writing, "mark these words", while also acknowledging that global warming is a significant issue that shouldn't be entirely ignored. "(And I do think global warming is a major risk)", wrote Musk.
In response to a question from Dave Lee, who asked, "Are people too pessimistic about the future, thus having less kids? Is part of the solution inspiring people to become more optimistic about the future?" - Musk wrote, "Yes". Tesla Owners Silicon Valley asked Musk if having more children was the only solution to this problem, Musk wrote, "Yes".
Musk has been criticized for his perspective on the "population problem", with many individuals saying they simply cannot afford to have children. In the past, Musk has replied to some of these comments by asking them why it is that with increased wealth, people have fewer children, citing a 1944 American Sociological Review report that discovered as a family's income grew, there was a reduction in the number of new children born into that family.
Furthermore, Musk has previously written on Twitter that there are far too many people around the world that are under the "illusion that Earth is overpopulated", despite the birthrate trends indicating that the planet is heading towards a population collapse. The Tesla CEO goes on to describe that population collapse is the biggest danger civilization faces by far.
In other Elon Musk news, a former girlfriend of Musk has decided to auction off old photos of them together while they were both attending the University of Pennsylvania in the 90s. The former partner of Musk has said that the money she gets from the images will be used to fund her stepson's college tuition. Musk's college sweetheart also described her relationship with Musk.

Elon Musk Has a Controversial Idea to Solve the Energy Crisis – TheStreet
Posted: at 8:15 am
Elon Musk is a global CEO with a keen interest in geopolitical affairs.
Since the invasion of Ukraine by Russia on Feb. 24, the co-founder and chief executive officer of Tesla (TSLA) has closely followed the evolution of the war, which has already caused many deaths and the displacement of millions.
The Russian bombings have also destroyed many Ukrainian cities. Currently, all eyes are on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, near the town of Enerhodar in the Ukraine. Energoatom, the Ukrainian operator of this site, claims that the Russians have bombed it on several occasions. Moscow, for its part, points the responsibility for the bombings back to Kyiv. Experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are expected on site in the coming days.
This ongoing Russian war, which has lasted for several months, has poisoned relations between the country and the NATO countries and has led to severe economic sanctions against Moscow. In addition to NATO, the European Union has also imposed sanctions on Russia, which in turn has retaliated.
In March, the EU pledged to cut its gas imports from Russia by two-thirds within a year. In retaliation, President Vladimir Putin decided to reduce gas deliveries from Russia by 40%, thus provoking a gas crisis.
Since July, Russia sends only one third of the volume of gas required by Europe, to pressure European countries to soften their sanctions on financial transactions and technologies. Experts say Putin is using energy as a weapon to weaken Europe's support for the Ukraine.
An energy crisis could cause a spiral of economic recession and social tensions in Europe, warn experts. The consequences of this energy crisis are not yet serious because of the summer, but we are now approaching autumn and the onset of cold weather. It is at this time that we will really measure the impact of the Russian threat as many European countries depend on Russian gas.
It is therefore no surprise that this gas war raises the question of the energy independence of Europe. Germany, Europe's largest economy, depends on Russia for nearly half of its gas supply.
Energy prices in Europe have soared in recent weeks. Wholesale electricity prices for 2023 in Germany and France, the two largest European economies, thus broke records on Aug. 26, at more than 1,000 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) and 850 euros per MWh respectively. A year ago, prices for these two countries were around 85 euros per megawatt hour.
Overall European gas prices reached 341 euros per MWh, near the all-time high of 345 euros it struck in March.
The European Union member states are in the process of setting up energy saving and sobriety plans, knowing that, with the approach of winter, the risk of shortages and power cuts increases. The EU could soon hold an emergency meeting to deal with this energy crisis.
Scroll to Continue
"@EU2022_CZ will convene an urgent meeting of Energy Ministers to discuss specific emergency measures to address the energy situation," tweeted on Aug. 26 Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, the country which currently holds the rotating presidency of the EU.
Elon Musk, the world's richest man is relaunching a controversial solution that he considers the most realistic to reduce Europe's dependence on Russia in terms of oil and gas supplies.
"Countries should be increasing nuclear power generation!," the billionaire just suggests on Twitter. "It is insane from a national security standpoint & bad for the environment to shut them down."
As expected, the tweet of the richest man in the world immediately caused thousands of comments and relaunched the ultra-sensitive debate on the atom. Environmental activists are against nuclear energy.
"Nuclear is clean, efficient, and could replace fossil fuels entirely if it was embraced. Its not, because so-called environmentalists arent pro clean energy, they are anti-human," commented journalist Scott Morefield.
"Some are indeed sadly anti-human," Musk replied.
Nuclear is one of the actions the International Energy Agency (IEA) recommends in its 10-Point Plan to the European Union for reducing reliance on Russian supplies by over a third while supporting the European Green Deal.
"The key actions recommended in the IEAs 10-Point Plan include not signing any new gas contracts with Russia; maximizing gas supplies from other sources; accelerating the deployment of solar and wind; making the most of existing low emissions energy sources, such as nuclear and renewables; and ramping up energy efficiency measures in homes and businesses," the organization said last March.
The EU has set itself a target of carbon neutrality for member states by 2050.
European ecologists and countries like Austria and Luxembourg are opposed to nuclear power, which they do not consider a green energy. Nuclear power makes it possible to produce carbon-free electricity, but the environmental impact of its radioactive waste and the risk of accidents are significant, underscore these critics. They also say that nuclear power is dangerous because its waste can potentially cause significant damage.
Proponents of nuclear energy believe that it emits very little CO2 and thus does not contribute to climate change.

Elon Musk Teases Tesla FSD to Uber Drivers, Chicago AreaWhen Is It Coming? – Tech Times
Posted: at 8:15 am
Earlier today, Elon Musk teased a new application for the Tesla FSD beta system for Uber drivers and the Chicago area, claiming that the feature is coming soon for EVs under the ride-hailing application. The tech CEO wants his autonomous driving system for the use of the public through ride-hailing services or his "robotaxi" venture he talked about before.
A Tesla fan shared his experiencewith the FSD beta feature that recently became available to the world via the public beta release. Despite still being under the beta release and testing phase, the user claimed that the FSD "changed" his life through its use and experience with the system.
The Tesla FSD Beta is currently on version 10.69, providing its users with the latest features and technology.
The fan said he would continue spreading the word about its features and advantages, making it his mission to tell the Chicago and Uber drivers in the area about the Full-Self Driving feature. He added that a "strike reset" is necessary to achieve their end goal of having the FSD for Uber drivers in the massive city.

Here, Elon Musk replied, claiming that the service may arrive in the coming week, giving the FSD to drivers that use Tesla EVs in the area. However, Musk's response was vague, as it did not discuss details regarding what was coming next week. It may be focusing on bringing the FSD beta to more EVs, also coming to Uber drivers that use Tesla as their service car.
It may also mean that the FSD is expanding more to the Chicago area for drivers who have already subscribed to the feature. Nevertheless, it may mean both are coming to Uber drivers and the Chicago area under its expansion plans.
Earlier this year, Elon Musk talked about a significant venture towards an autonomous driving system for the public via Tesla without needing to own the vehicle. It will come as a service and ride-hailing feature under an unknown name, only known as a "robotaxi" venture, bringing people from one place to another without any driver.
The company and its leader previously gave massive highlights to expanding the FSD for many enrollmentson different vehicles and drivers, known as its public beta applications.
Users only need to book their ride and enter their destination, which would pick them up from their pinned location, with the Tesla electric cars having no steering wheels. Musk highlighted this feature as part of the robotaxi project that the company is already working on, which will soon arrive to the public once it completes the FSD's development.
It is not news anymore that Musk and Tesla are already working on a robotaxi venture, alongside the FSD's expansion for the world, including those that use the EVs for the ride-hailing service. Uber drivers, who provide Teslas for the public's use, will soon get FSD, focusing on expanding it to the Chicago area next week.

The man who tracks Elon Musk’s private jet says he would stop if the billionaire took him on a flight and gave him an interview, report says – Yahoo…

Jack Sweeney runs Twitter accounts that tracks celebrities' private jets including Elon Musk.
The world's richest man previously offered Sweeney $5,000 to stop tracking his jet.
Sweeney says he may close the account if Musk takes him on a flight and gives him an interview.
A 20-year-old who attracted Elon Musk's ire for running a Twitter account that tracks his private jet has said he could shut it down if the Tesla chief meets his conditions.
Jack Sweeney previously declined Musk's offer of $5,000 and a free Tesla, saying he gets too much satisfaction from tracking the billionaire's jet to settle for anything less than $50,000.
He told the Daily Star he would consider taking the account down if Musk took him on a flight and gave him an interview mid-air.
"If he let me fly with him on his jet, record it and talk about it - and maybe not even pay me the $50,000 [previously asked for] I would take it down. That is still up for discussion," Sweeney told the newspaper.
Sweeney didn't immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.
The account,@ElonJet, uses a bot to tracks the billionaire's jet through public ADS-B data. Sweeney previously argued that taking down his account "won't fix the issue, my code is open-sourced [and] others said they would recreate it anyway."
Musk is not the only person whose jets he has tracked. Tom Cruise, the Kardashians, several Russian oligarchs and even Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates have all been in his sights. Mark Cuban is thought to be the only celebrity who has struck a deal with Sweeney to stop tracking his flights.
Sweeney told the Daily Star it was becoming harder to track Musk's jet: "His plane was in San Francisco for less than a day, but it was hard to figure out because this was one of the flights where he had PIA [Privacy ICAO Address, which masks the owner's identity]."
He added: "It's like having a license plate on your car that is registered to another name. It takes extra work to know where the jet is going."
Insider has contacted Musk for comment.

Why Aren’t We Using Batteries That Last 10 Times Longer? Elon Musk Responds – Benzinga
Posted: at 8:15 am
When id Software co-founder John Carmack discussed electric vehicle battery materials on Twitter, none other than Tesla, Inc. TSLA CEO Elon Musk chimed in with his view.
Carmack, a computer programmer and video-game developer, said when he looks at electronics with weakening batteries, he wonders about the potential of bulkier lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. These have 40% less energy density but 10 times the lifespan, he noted.
Energy density is the amount of energy in a given mass, and in a battery, it is the measure of the amount of energy that a battery contains in relation to its weight. LFP batteries are supposed to have about 15-25% less energy density than alternatives.
Carmack pointed out that there isnt much demand for 10-year lifespan consumer electronics. Of course, easily replaceable batteries can also address the problem! he added.

In reply, Musk said high cycle life is possible with nickel cathode if optimizing for that purpose. Adding silicon to the anode, primarily carbon anode, improves energy density, and reduces cycle life, due to large volumetric changes during charge/discharge, he added.
Lithium-ion is the commonly used chemistry in EV batteries, although most EV makers have started using LFP batteries, given their cost competitiveness and longer life.
