Experts Horrified by Facial Recognition Site That Digs Up "Potentially Explicit" Photos of Children – Futurism

Posted: July 21, 2022 at 12:53 pm

Protecting children online has never been easy. And with the advent of public-facing facial recognition search engines, that risk is growing.

According to reporting by The Intercept, a startup called PimEyes makes it disturbingly easy to find "potentially explicit" images of children, not to mention almost anybody else.

The face-searching site launched in 2017 and has been a nuisance ever since. It lets users free of charge track down online photos of anyone, and all it takes is uploading just one image of the target person. In other words, it's like a reverse image search except far more intrusive, since it can find photos that aren't anywhere near an exact match.

The tool actually used to be even more invasive. Before developers removed the feature in the wake of public backlash, PimEyes was able to search for photos on social media sites as well. Its owner, Giorgi Gobronidze, even facetiously admitted to The Intercept that the service was "tailor-designed for stalkers," though he rationalized that the company has subsequently cleaned up its act by no longer crawling social media.

While PimEyes claims that it's only meant to be used in self-searches and is "not intended for the surveillance of others," it nonetheless provides paid subscription tiers that allow users to search up to 25 times per day, which seems like a lot of searches per day just to check up on your own face.

"This is just another example of the large overarching problem within technology, surveillance-built or not," Electronic Frontier Foundation staff technologist Daly Barnett told The Intercept. "There isnt privacy built from the get-go with it, and users have to opt out of having their privacy compromised."

Readily providing anyone with an internet connection the ability to traceany person by their photo has troubling implications on its own, but when that also compromises the privacy of children, it dredges up even uglier ramifications.

Child advocacy groups have championed the use of facial recognition tech to combat child trafficking, but when that tech gets into the hands of creeps, it can also provide them with powerful new stalking tools.

The report details several test searches on PimEyes using AI-generated faces of children. Distressingly, the searches yielded photos of actual kids, with potentially identifying details on the websites the found photos were linked to. In The Intercepts testing, PimEyes was able to dig up childrens faces on everything from personal family blogs to school photos.

What was most disturbing in The Intercepts testing was that PimEyes returned images of children labeled as "potentially explicit" while still providing a link to the source website. We dont need to spell out just how easily stalkers and predators could use that function to exploit children.

"The fact that PimEyes doesnt have safeguards in place for children and apparently is not sure how to provide safeguards for children only underlines the risks of this kind of facial recognition service," Jeramie Scott, director of the Surveillance Oversight Project at the Electronic Privacy Information Center, told The Intercept. Participating in public, whether online or offline, should not mean subjecting yourself to privacy-invasive services like PimEyes."

"Congress needs to act to not only protect our children, but all of us from the dangers of facial recognition technology," Scott added. Services like this should be banned. Thats how you should regulate it.

Flexispot E7 Review: A Standing Desk That Goes Easy on Your Spine – Futurism

Posted: at 12:53 pm

It feels like a little magic every time I use the control panel on the right side of my Flexispot E7. The cat arches her back as if shes spotted a genie, while quietly, with minimal noise, the bamboo surface of my generously sized desk smoothly rises up from sit position to stand. The desks lift is so smooth in fact that the little stress ball I keep on my desk doesnt even start rolling.

The Flexispot Pro Plus E7 is a standing desk thats built around the idea that maybe sitting all day, all the time, might not be the best thing for health and productivity. In my estimation, the Flexispot is about the most ergonomic upgrade you can get for a home office. Switching from standing to sitting throughout the day will have you working more productively and feeling better than you ever would with a basic desk.

Standing desks are height-adjustable desks that allow you to go from sitting to standing while using the same piece of furniture. These desks have become very popular additions to home offices, and Flexispot has emerged as one of the leading brands among standing-desk providers. In addition to standing desks, the company is known for standing-desk converters, standard desks, and desk accessories.

The Flexispot E7 is an electric standing desk. Using two motors, the E7 is controlled by a small panel on the front that smoothly raises and lowers the desk-top to the height you want with the press of a button. You can easily program the panel to your taste, with customizable heights, and simple up-down control, which gives you more fluid height control than youd expect.

The Flexspot E7s setup is a significant undertaking for one person. It arrives in two cardboard boxes which are very heavy. In spite of the boxs notice that warns you its a two-person job, I carried both boxes up the flights of stairs to my apartment solo, and regretted that decision by the time I crossed the second-floor landing. The desks build-out would also be better with two people. The steel frame parts are very heavy, and attaching the hardware to the wood-topper is difficult and cumbersome. However, this is to be expected with such sturdy, high-grade motor-columns and heavy-duty supports.

Outside of its weight, the engineering that went into the desks assembly is about as straightforward and solid as one could ask for, with all applicable screws shipping in a convenient multi-pouch plastic-bag that includes the required allen wrench. Only one set of screws uses another tool, as these are meant to be compatible with a drill though I used a Phillips-head screwdriver myself.

The E7 ships with a few options for desktop material, including hardwoods like rubberwood and black walnut, as well as fiberboard, chipboard, and bamboo (I went with bamboo). The desks steel legs and support frame come in a couple of colorways, and are just as sturdy as one could hope for. The company claims a 355-pound load capacity, and I dont think that figure is too grossly inflated. I dont doubt my desk could hold my weight with a decent amount of capacity to spare. The desks fifteen-year warranty provides plenty of leeway should the desk not meet your expectations.

A wire management tray screws on as part of the foundation and keeps the devices numerous wires tucked out of site. You can also increase the functionality of the desk with a range of accessories (I might get this under-desk shelf). The desks standard control panel contains one USB-A charging slot, and the desk must remain plugged in for it to operate.

I recommend the chemical-free bamboo top for your E7, as it wont off-gas harmful chemicals into your home or office. I was also pleased to see that my desk did not feature a California Proposition-65 warning, meaning neither the frame nor desktop contain dangerous levels of carcinogenic chemicals.

I recommend this desk. I write all day most days, and even with a good chair (check out my review of the Branch Ergonomic Chair), I feel the strain of constant desk work in my body. Im 62 and this desk gets high enough for me to lean on as I stand, and easily descends to the right height for me to sit when I need a break.

All in all, the Flexispot E7 is a desk you can believe in. With its 15-year warranty, powerful weight capacity, and non-toxic build, you can feel secure in the quality of the product. Its a great desk for writers, clerical workers, or anyone else who spends their time at a desk. Its also an excellent choice for artists who might want a drafting or painting table thats easily raised and lowered to different heights, (think Chuck Closes famous motorized easel). Whatever you do, If you spend hours at a desk each day, Flexispot is a worthwhile investment to make, both for your work and your body.

We’re All Struggling Because Of Biden, Not The Other Way Around – The Federalist

Posted: at 12:52 pm

Perry Bacon Jr. which is the name of a Washington Post writer, not a sandwich at Arbys has managed to have the dumbest excuse to date for why Joe Bidens approval numbers are somewhere between bad and get this man out of the White House right now before he kills us all.

Bacon wrote on Monday, presumably with a straight face, that a major factor driving the presidents approval ratings to lower than Donald Trumps is that the news medias coverage has been anti-Biden. He actually said that.

In the first few months of 2021, many in the media focused on narratives that seemed like they could turn into big anti-Biden stories but didnt pan out, wrote Perry. By anti-Biden stories, he meant the few times reporters asked the president why vaccines were so slow to distribute and whether he planned to do anything to stem the tide of obscene numbers of migrants illegally crossing the southern border.

Its apparently anti-Biden to inquire whether he actually plans to do anything about our most urgent problems.

But, Perry said, it was the disastrous and fatal withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan that really did Biden in with the press. Afghanistan was an important turning point in media coverage for two reasons, he wrote. One, it provided journalists the big anti-Biden story that I think many of them were desperate to find. And it drove down Bidens popularity with the public, giving the media justification for even more coverage that cast the president as struggling.

Ah, yes! Remember the days of yore when the media were so obviously desperate to find a reason to kneecap Biden. The memories are fond.

Its preposterous. Even now, media coverage of the Biden administration is relegated to one-minute news briefs about the president and Kamala Harriss latest screw-ups, only between hour-long segments about the Jan. 6 House hearings.

Perry wrote that he would like for the press to cover Biden more positively.

Hey guys, could you put a positive spin on the historic inflation, the new war that Biden is marching us toward, and the record-high gas prices? That would be swell.

Biden isnt where he is by a stroke of bad luck. His approval rating isnt embarrassingly low because reporters arent giving him enough credit. And his own partys voters arent on their knees praying he doesnt run for a second term because journalists havent properly shown them the silver lining.

Biden isnt the victim of an awful press. Theyre the ones who sold him to America. Were the victims of the media and his presidency.

Post-Roe, The Pro-Abortion Crowd Must Defend The Indefensible – The Federalist

Posted: at 12:52 pm

Democrats are foolishly trying to win the abortion debate. Now that the Dobbs v. Jackson Womens Health Organization decision has overturned Roe v. Wade, abortion supporters have to make their case to the people and their representatives, rather than judges. But many of them have apparently forgotten that they win the argument by avoiding it.

This strategy was perfected by President Bill Clintons model of rhetorical moderation joined to legal extremism. Clinton said that abortion should be safe, legal, and rare and then he opposed any limits on it. And Roe, along with a compliant media, let him and his party get away with this, because they could let the courts do most of the dirty work. Now that they dont have that shield they are struggling.

It is normal to want to justify ones views, but it is often political malpractice. With regard to abortion, the majority position on abortion is inconsistent. The average American supports legal abortion early in pregnancy, wants it restricted or banned by the second trimester and really, really doesnt want to think about it. New York Times readers might like the idea of a comedy special about abortion, but most Americans are repulsed by it.

These voters in the middle see abortion as a sometimes necessary evil, or at least an expedient one. They find a consistent pro-life ethic uncomfortable and impractical, but they view a consistent pro-abortion ethic of late-term abortion on demand without apology as horrible. These voters tended to have a poor understanding of the Supreme Courts abortion rulings, which is why polls often showed majority support both for Roe and for abortion restrictions prohibited by Roe, such as a ban on elective abortion after 15 weeks.

Now, the pro-abortion side is trying to find a consistent, winning argument, not realizing that the attempt is a losing effort. Swing voters in the mushy middle on abortion usually vote on other issues, and the rhetoric being used to make the case for unrestricted abortion is alienating to them.

As momentous as the Dobbs decision was, most voters are more concerned with soaring inflation, a looming recession, and other economic woes. Nonetheless, Democratic leaders and activists are determined to push abortion to the fore. The New York Times alone has published multiple columns declaring that running on abortion will pave the way for Democratic victory.

This is nonsense, though in the face of impending midterm disaster, and saddled with a president who is about as popular as gonorrhea, Democrats might believe that their best chance to limit their losses is to rally their base by focusing on abortion and other social issues. This would explain House Dems voting repeatedly for radical pro-abortion bills that they know will fail in the Senate, and the attacks by Democrats such as Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren on pro-life pregnancy resource centers.

But even if this culture war strategy staunches the immediate electoral bleeding, it may set Democrats up for problems in the future. In particular, it will likely accelerate the realignment in which Dems gain educated whites at the loss of working class and minority voters, especially Hispanics. Even when Dems work hard to frame the issue in ways favorable to them, they are still focusing on something that these voters are not that concerned with right now.

Democrats also become ridiculous when their abortion absolutism combines with their woke pieties. Democrats are eager to insist that pregnant men have a right to taxpayer-funded abortion on demand until birth. But as Megan McArdle recently tries to warn them, most Americans think third-trimester unborn babies have value and that it is women who get pregnant.

Furthermore, the left justifies its pro-abortion extremism using rhetoric derived from a worldview that is alien to the lived experience of most moderate voters. Phrases such as forced birth and bodily autonomy are popular with the online left, but they reveal a perspective that sees nature as a prison and unchosen obligations as slavery. Consequently, they necessarily view female fertility, with its natural dependencies and vulnerabilities, as a burden to be suppressed, and they want the state to take over and professionalize the duties of providing care to dependents.

But the voters fleeing the Democratic coalition do not live with the presumptions that female embodiment is imprisoning, that dependence is despicable, and that we should be free from unchosen obligations. Though they may not have a coherent, developed theory of dependence and duty, their moral intuitions are not oriented toward radical individualism and personal autonomy. Likewise, though they may not have a consistent pro-life philosophy, they know that a life of love in family and community requires fulfilling duties of care toward dependents.

And they know that the future of families and communities depends upon those who are dependent. This is most obvious with children, but the realities of interdependence extend to all of us. All of us are dependent for much of our lives, and even our moments of apparent independence are less than they seem. And we are always dependent on others for what is best in this life, for the love and kindness and friendships that are necessary for human flourishing.

The lefts concern for solidarity has been swallowed up by its radicalism, especially on abortion. Its electoral prospects might suffer the same fate, as pro-abortion extremism pushes Democrats to ignore voters concerns in favor of pushing unpopular positions justified by alienating rhetoric.

AP Spreads Disinformation With J6 Committee’s Fake Timeline – The Federalist

Posted: at 12:52 pm

The Associated Press spread disinformation on Tuesday in its blind adoption of the Jan. 6 Committees made-up timeline of the Capitol riot.

In a preview of Thursdays hearing, which is set to feature two former White House aides during prime time, the AP reported that the pair will offer new details about President Donald Trumps conduct as a mob of supporters overwhelmed Capitol Police.

Previous hearings have detailed chaos in the White House and aides and outsiders were begging the president to tell the rioters to leave, the AP wrote, before adding (emphasis added),

But he waited more than three hours to do so, and there are still many unanswered questions about what exactly he was doing and saying as the violence unfolded.

The wire services Tuesday reporting was already picked up by the Los Angeles Times. Trumps supposed three-hour delay, however, which has been repeatedly highlighted by members of the Jan. 6 Committee, is contradicted by detailed timelines from both The Washington Post and The New York Times.

According to the Times, the first barriers of the Capitol building were breached at 2:13 p.m. The Washington Post timestamps the first break in at 2:15 p.m. Trumps first tweet addressing the rioters was published at 2:38 p.m., with the president pleading for peace after just 23 minutes.

Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement, Trump wrote. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!

About 30 minutes later, Trump addressed the demonstrators again on the same platform.

I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence! the president wrote. Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!

At 4:17 p.m., or two hours after the first barriers were breached, the president tweeted out a video demanding that rioters leave the Capitol a video that Twitter promptly removed.

False claims of a three-hour delay come directly from the Jan. 6 Committee itself. In December, Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney charged the president with waiting 187 minutes and said he refused to act while demonstrators swarmed the Capitol. In an interview with ABC News last week outlining plans for the upcoming hearing, Rep. Elaine Luria, D-Va., explained that members will comb through those 187 minutes.

The New York Times regurgitated that same false timeline on Friday, headlining its own preview coverage of the latest prime time show trial with, Jan. 6 Panel to Dissect Trumps 187 Minutes of Inaction During Riot. The Washington Posts Jennifer Rubin followed suit on Tuesday with a piece titled, Why we should care about the 187 minutes.

The House Jan. 6 select committee on Thursday will provide a blow-by-blow account of the 187 minutes that passed during the Capitol siege in which Donald Trump did nothing to rescue lawmakers and his own vice president from the mob he unleashed, Rubin wrote. The Post columnist made no mention of the presidents tweets during those 187 minutes, during which time she claims he did nothing.

Judge Prevents DOE From Forcing Title IX Trans Perversion On 20 States – The Federalist

Posted: at 12:52 pm

A federal judge ordered on Friday that the Biden administration cannot force its false definition of sex on schools in 20 states at least for now.

After the Department of Education published a rule redefining sex under Title IX to include so-called gender identity, a coalition of 20 states sued in federal court. On Friday, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee issued a preliminary injunction preventing the administration from enforcing the rule in those states until the lawsuit is resolved.

Title IX prohibits sex discrimination in federally funded education programs. Under the new rule, the Department of Educations Office of Civil Rights would enforce Title IX also to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

A fact sheet from the Civil Rights Office gives examples of incidents it could investigate. One involves a male student not being allowed to use the girls restroom or try out for the girls cheerleading team.

Alliance Defending Freedom Senior Counsel Christiana Kiefer told The Federalist that this interpretation of Title IX is unlawful because the executive branch does not have the power to rewrite federal law.

Kiefer said it is also harmful, particularly to girls. It harms all students, but especially young women, in that it opens up their private spaces their locker rooms, shower facilities, potentially overnight trip accommodations, and yes, their womens sports teams to members of the opposite sex if they do nothing more than simply identify as female, Kiefer said, noting that Alliance Defending Freedom filed a motion to intervene in the case on behalf of the Association of Christian Schools International and three female athletes at public schools.

The administrations interpretation of Title IX relies on the Supreme Courts decision in Bostock v. Clayton County, which held that an employee could not be fired just for being homosexual or transgender. Bostock, however, only dealt with Title VII, not Title IX, the lawsuit points out.

The Department of Educations rule followed an executive order last January stating the Biden administrations policy to prevent and combat discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation.

That order told the federal agencies to consider changing their rules and served as the basis for a U.S. Department of Agriculture policy requiring schools to allow boys into girls bathrooms in order to get federal funding for school lunches, as The Federalist previously reported.

According to Kiefer, how the case might affect actions it doesnt directly challenge such as the USDA policy will depend on how broadly the court rules. In the meantime, the administration cannot enforce the Department of Educations interpretation of Title IX against the 20 states that challenged it.

Tennessee Attorney General Herbert Slatery III said in a press release, We are thankful the Court put a stop to it, maintained the status quo as the lawsuit proceeds, and reminded the federal government it cannot direct its agencies to rewrite the law.

Editors note: This article has been updated to reflect that the comments attributed to Alliance Defending Freedom General Counsel Kristen Waggoner were made by Senior Counsel Christiana Kiefer.

Poll: Biden’s Approval Rating Just Hit Another Record Low – The Federalist

Posted: at 12:52 pm

An NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll out Wednesday noted a record low approval rating for President Joe Biden at just 36 percent approval, his lowest since taking office, with support from independents especially dissipating. A full 58 percent of registered voters disapprove of the presidents job, with 44 percent strongly disapproving.

Nearly half of registered independent voters 46 percent to be exact say they strongly disapprove of the job Biden is doing, combined with 19 percent who simply said they disapprove of his performance for a total disapproval rating of more than 65 percent from independents. Thats a huge shift from a year ago when nearly half of independents approved of Biden. Now, only 28 percent approve.

Bidens 36 percent approval rating from voters overall reflects a 4 percent slip since the end of June. With only 12 percent of voters saying they strongly approve of the job he is doing, almost four times that number strongly disapprove, at 44 percent.

Even PBS had to admit that Bidens numbers are trending more negative than any other modern president in a midterm cycle, according to 538s tracking of approval rating polling averages.

Another NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll from April 2022 gathered that independents favor Republican candidates over Democrat candidates by 7 percentage points (45 percent compared to 38 percent) ahead of the 2022 midterm elections. The poll noted that pluralities of Americans think Republicans are better equipped to deal with a plurality of issues, such as the economy and inflation, gun laws, and curbing crime.

Prince Harry Spews Climate Hypocrisy In United Nations Address – The Federalist

Posted: at 12:52 pm

Prince-in-name-only Harry Windsor spoke at the United Nations General Assembly in New York City Monday as part of the UNs honoring the late Nelson Mandela, South Africas freedom fighter and president.

Evidently, it was too much for Harry to stay focused on Mandelas heroic life story, a man who overcame long-time political imprisonment to become the first black leader of the Republic of South Africa. That is plenty for a 15-minute speech.

Rather, he preened about democracy and climate change, about which he knows little and is disqualified from lecturing, considering his own lifestyle.

From the horrific war in Ukraine to the rolling back of constitutional rights here in the United States, we are witnessing a global assault on democracy and freedom, Harry observed, in a not-subtle reference to the U.S. Supreme Courts Dobbs v. Jackson decision on abortion, issued last month.

Thus, did he equate the cruel Russian war against Ukraine to the Courts overturning Roe v. Wade, the 49-year-old ruling that abrogated 46 state laws to instead allow unfettered abortion.

Lost on Harry is that the Supreme Court returned abortion policy to the democratic process in state legislatures, that is, determined by elected officials the same as it exists in Britain and throughout Europe. That democratic process has resulted in most European nations having restrictions on abortion at earlier stages of pregnancy (from 10 to 14 weeks), than in the U.S. during the Roe abortion era.

Throughout her 70-year reign, Queen Elizabeth II had more dignity in her royal fingernail than her virtue-signaling grandson. Attacking her nations closest global ally was unthinkable, considering her own witness to the blood and treasure sacrificed by Americans for democracy and freedom.

Then there was climate change, one of the vanity projects of Harry and his wife, Meghan, which he claimed was wreaking havoc on the planet as evidenced by the water rising all around us.

The right thing to do is not up for debate, and neither is the science, declared the prince. The only question is whether we will be brave enough and wise enough to do what is necessary.

Typical of wealthy and pampered climate alarmists, Harry provided neither science nor reality about this ubiquitous climate havoc. Rather, he echoed his fellow elites and political hucksters to squash debate one of the central features of democracy and freedom obtuse to irony or self-awareness.

Attempting to stop the planets climate from ever-changing is a colossal fools errand that brings serious drawbacks. They include extensive mining required for electric vehicle battery components; fossil fuels to manufacture and maintain solar panels and wind turbines; the toxic residue from their disposal; and despoiling enormous virgin land mass necessary to approach displacing oil and gas, to name a few. Moreover, large industrial nations, China, India, et.al., are not cooperating in Harrys crusade and that of the Climate Industrial Complex of celebrities, bureaucrats, and NGOs, which makes the entirety of this agenda fruitless.

Taking Harrys climate narcissism at face value, are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex themselves brave and wise enough to do what is necessary to curtail climate change?

Harry and Meghan could start by relinquishing their 16-room mansion in the Montecito enclave of Santa Barbara, California, and downsize to accommodate their two maximum children, still without needing bunk beds. Last year the couple received an award from the group Population Matters for not having more children to add to the planets CO2 emissions. Then why power a mansion large enough to house a Cub Scout pack?

As to air travel, the Duke and Duchess long ago dissed the plea from Friends of the Earth to forgo private planes. No bravery or wisdom from the faux royals there, either.

It is fitting Prince Harry is no longer a working member of the British Royal Family. He has long since become a self-serving embarrassment in his myriad of pursuits. Harry and Megan will press on hungry for attention and relevance, ever impervious, as they retain their vapid titles denoting a pretend monarchical fiefdom eight time zones away from them.

Sri Lanka Is First To Topple In Globalists’ Green Energy House Of Cards – The Federalist

For a year, the Biden administration told Americans inflation wasnt real. Then it was transitory. Then it was sticky. Then inflation was miraculously real but perfectly expected as a result of Covid-19 workplace lockdowns. Then it was an unfortunate but necessary cost for patriotic Americans to pay in defense of Ukraine against Russian aggression. Now inflation has risen to an annual rate of 9.1 percent, the highest in more than 40 years.

Tucker Carlson has been outlining how Joe Bidens Green New Deal energy policies not Russias war in Ukraine or Covid-19s economic fallout are directly responsible for our current economic crisis. In following the World Economic Forums Build Back Better socialist blueprint for transitioning the economy from one relying on the hydrocarbon energies of oil, coal, and natural gas to one based on insufficient supplies of wind and solar energies, manufacturing and transportation costs have skyrocketed.

Add to this destabilizing energy shift the WEF and Green New Deals concerted efforts to shift the global food supply from one based on high-yield, fertilizer-intensive crop farming and traditional cattle and poultry production to a new sustainable diet of insects and lab-grown synthetic meats, and it is clear that the Build Back Better agenda touches every part of an individuals daily life. In one fell swoop, Davos devotees are attempting to overhaul both the energy sources undergirding the global economy and the energy sources that fuel every human being.

One of the principal effects of this forced paradigm shift in energy and food production is todays runaway inflation. If the supplies of relatively inexpensive sources of hydrocarbon energy are reduced on the global market, then everything dependent on hydrocarbon energy increases in price. From the operational overhead required to keep commodity and manufacturing plants running to the international shipping and transcontinental transport costs required to move finished products across the world, everything becomes more expensive.

At each stage of the process of extracting raw materials, producing a product for market, and putting that product in a consumers home, rising green energy costs cascade to create skyrocketing inflation. Likewise, when agricultural and livestock farming are heavily regulated in accordance with Green New Deal climate change goals, then not only does food become more expensive, it also becomes more scarce. Inflation and food insecurity are the natural results.

The Great Reset, however, is not occurring in a vacuum. Unsuspecting citizens may be the guinea pigs forced to endure the World Economic Forums agenda, but they do not lack agency of their own. Hunger and loss of savings tend to fracture societies, and not surprisingly, chaos and carnage are now on the rise.

In Sri Lanka, the costs of food and fuel have gotten so high that the island country has nearly collapsed. The president has fled, the prime minister has promised to resign, the socialist nation is in a state of emergency, and fed-up citizens have taken over much of the capital. It is the starkest warning yet to the Build Back Better zealots how devastating for ordinary citizens their forced experiment in social engineering has become.

In the Netherlands, farmers protesting government plans to regulate their livelihoods out of existence and seize their farms have fought back by blocking main thoroughfares with their tractors and keeping supermarket shelves relatively bare. Already, similar protests have popped up in Italy, Poland, and Germany.

Castro-loving Prime Minister Justin Trudeau may have succeeded in using the iron fists of government force and bank account seizures to dismantle Canadian truckers Freedom Convoy protests against experimental vaccine mandates earlier this year, but the current spate of public demonstrations against historic food and fuel costs show few signs of being similarly squashed.

While Germany prepares to restrict home heating at night and ration hot water, some industry leaders are already warning that social peace is in great danger. If tempers are running hot today, they are certain to go nuclear in the near future, as French and German leaders have warned their populations to prepare for a total cut-off of Russian gas that promises to exacerbate business bankruptcies and extend personal economic ruin. Only adding to the uncertainty of this approaching cataclysm, Europes border forces are reportedly bracing for waves of hungry illegal immigrants heading their way during what is inarguably transforming into a global food crisis.

Riots, famines, societal collapse, and cultural invasion the globalists Great Reset agenda has created the perfect storm of economic insecurity and national instability.

All of this leads to an important question: If this Build Back Better project to demolish and reconstruct the Wests economic foundations ends up blowing up right in the globalists faces, what will they do next?

In Sri Lanka, the president hightailed it out of town and headed for paradise in the nearby Maldives. If Europe descends into conflict or outright rebellion, however, where will the World Economic Forums leaders hide? Is there someplace left in the world still unscathed from the predictable consequences of their disastrous actions?
