George Osbornes family firm reports jump in costs in wake of Brexit – The Guardian
Posted: December 22, 2021 at 1:14 am
The former chancellor George Osbornes family wallpaper business has said that Brexit added 400,000 to its costs, as the companys sales slid more than 16% during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Osborne & Little, which is controlled by Osbornes father, Sir Peter Osborne, said the UKs exit from the EU had an immediate adverse effect on profits from January 2021, with unforeseen costs such as increased shipping payments and taxes on EU goods imported to the UK before being exported back to Europe.
The company also said it had experienced supply delays that had affected trading despite strong demand from shoppers who wanted to revamp interiors as they spent more time at home during the coronavirus lockdowns.
Accounts filed at Companies House said the London-based company, where George Osborne sits as a board director, set up a new distributor in Germany in March this year to help improve the flow of goods and reduce costs.
The complaints about higher costs come despite Osborne & Little calculating in 2016, at the time of the UKs vote on Brexit, that there would be limited impact in the short-term from leaving the EU, but that if sterling remained weak, it would bring a material benefit to the business.
Sales fell to 24.3m in the year to 31 March, with the UK and Europe down 18% and its biggest market, the US, down almost 15%.
Despite the Brexit problems, Osborne & Little moved to a pre-tax profit of 558,000 from a pre-tax loss of 542,000 a year before as it cut costs elsewhere, including reducing staff numbers.

The numbers were also boosted by operating income from 510,000 in furlough payments and 128,000 in coronavirus business interruption loan scheme from the government during the year. The group borrowed 3.5m in total from the CBIL scheme and also received a 615,000 paycheck loan from the US government.
The accounts said Covid had a huge impact on the UK but that sales rose 30% in the seven months to 31 October, compared with the same period in the previous year, with a similar increase in profits. The company said collections designed by the decorator Nina Campbell had performed exceptionally well.
The continuing effect that Brexit is having on the UK economy was highlighted last week in the food and drink sector, with exports slumping 16% over the first nine months of 2021, a fall that was largely attributed to a 24% decline in sales to EU countries.

‘Done UK no favours!’ Boris and Truss told tactics ‘not playing out well’ on global stage – Daily Express
Posted: at 1:14 am
The Government's approach is preventing it from capitalising on post-Brexit trade opportunities, such as a trade deal with the United States according to a Professor of Economics at the University of Sussex. Speaking to Express.co.uk., Professor Michael Gasiorek, a specialist in international trade, said that the UK hasn't "done itself any favours on the international stage" since Brexit.
Prof Gasiorek said: "We are a smaller player on the world stage than we were before.
That does not mean that countries dont want to do deals with the UK but it does mean that the UK has a diminished influence into that economic environment.
I don't think the current government has done itself any favours on the international stage in terms of the way it behaves."
Speaking about the issues in Northern Ireland he said: "They do need resolving, and the UK is I think being fairly inflexible in the way it wants to resolve those.
And that's not playing out well on the international stage, in particular with the United States."
Prof Gasiorek added: "At the early stages, before Biden came into power, certainly the Johnson Government and Liz Truss were touting a US-UK free trade agreement as being top priority.
"But that's shifted very very low down the agenda, not on the UK's side but because America has made it quite clear that they're not interested at this point."
In her role as Foreign Secretary - and previously Secretary of State for International Trade - Liz Truss has played a pivotal role in the UK's trade deal negotiations.
READ MORE:Boris warned trade deals OFF as Tory credibility in pieces
But even though the likelihood of a trade deal with the United States is, in his opinion, unlikely, he said the UK should still be striving for cooperation.
He said: Currently I think there is no immediate prospect of a free trade deal in the next few years with America.
"And that's because America is focused elsewhere.
"That doesnt mean we shouldnt cooperate with America, for example on the issue of steel tariffs, or for example with regard to climate exchange.
So it could try and resolve that, but I believe our Secretary of State for Trade approached this issue by threatening the Americans.
This came after International Trade Secretary Anne Marie Trevelyan travelled to Washington in December to urge her counterparts to lift US tariffs on steel and aluminium that former President Donald Trump imposed in 2018.
The International Trade Secretary threatened the US with retaliatory tariffs on US goods, saying: We have been clear all along that resolving this dispute is the right thing to do.
It will benefit workers and businesses on both sides of the Atlantic, and would remove the need for the U.K. to levy retaliatory tariffs on U.S. goods.
However, just last week, the UK signed a free trade agreement with Australia, which the government estimates would unlock 10.4bn of additional trade.
A spokesperson for the Department for International Trade said: We have already secured over 760 billion worth of trade deals with 70 countries plus the EU and 2022 will be a five-star year for UK trade as we launch new negotiations with India, Mexico, Canada and the Gulf, as well as securing CPTPP accession.
We are strengthening our trade and investment ties with the US and have made good progress by ending the ban on British lamb, drawing a line under the Boeing-Airbus tariffs dispute, and co-operating even closer on vital areas such as technology."

A year on from the Brexit trade deal, the doom-mongers got it so wrong – The Telegraph
Posted: at 1:14 am
The ports would be plunged into chaos. Stranded lorries would turn Kent into a giant car park. The supermarkets would run out of food, the factories would run out of parts, and our export industries would be blown apart.
Only a year ago this week, the economy was on a knife edge as we waited to see if a trade deal with the European Union could be agreed at the last moment, and the dreaded cliff-edge avoided. Chaos was looming as the clock ticked relentlessly closer to midnight.
As we know, a deal was finally agreed, on Christmas Eve to be precise. Twelve months on, how is that working out?
In fact, it turns out to have been a lot of fuss about not very much.
The shape of the UKs trading relationship with the EU has already started to emerge.
We sell, and buy, far less from the rest of Europe than we did as a member, and some industries have suffered significantly from that; the balance of payments is steadily improving; critical industries such as financial and legal services are holding up well; and the UK is trading more with the world outside Europe.
There have been winners and losers, as you would expect, but average it out, and for all the hullabaloo the trade deal didn't make much difference to anything.
It was certainly a tense run-up to Christmas. After four years of bitter and divisive negotiations, and with the transition period that kept us effectively in the EUs trading bloc for a year after we left about to expire, the UK looked poised to tumble out without a deal.
Businesses were stockpiling goods to deal with disruption to supplies, haulage companies were preparing for massive delays, and customs officials on both sides of the Channel were readying themselves for coping with the paperwork and checks demanded by switching to World Trade Organization rules overnight.
No one had any real idea what would happen. In the end, a last minute compromise was hammered out.
Trade would continue mostly without tariffs or quotas, but services were excluded, Northern Ireland was put under a special regime, and more checks would be put in place.
A year on from those nervous few days we are starting to have a pretty good idea of what our trading relationship with the EU will look like - and four key trends have emerged.
First, despite the deal, trade with the EU has fallen sharply, and it is likely to carry on going down. Supporters of our departure shouldnt try to deny that, and they only make themselves look foolish when they do.
The monthly trade data moves around, and was distorted earlier in the year by stockpiling ahead of our departure, but the Office for National Statistics estimated in July that compared with a 2018 baseline monthly exports to the EU were 1.7 billion per month below where they would have been, and imports were 3 billion lower.
The important point is this. Trade across the English Channel has become significantly harder, and, surprise, surprise, there is now less of it. That is likely to continue, until trade settles down at a significantly lower level.
Next, the balance of payments deficit is coming down. The UK has been running a persistent and alarming deficit on the balance of payments for years, partly because of eroding competitiveness, but partly because of the deficit with the EU.
That is gradually improving, with the deficit down to a relatively trivial 2.3pc of GDP by this year (which, given how wonky the statistics are, might actually mean there is a surplus).
It is important to remember that the UK ran a huge trade deficit with the EU. According to the German statistical office, for example, its exports to the UK are now down by 11.5pc year-on-year, while its imports are down by 2.9pc.

55-year-old former model puts ripped body down to drinking his own wee – Metro.co.uk
Posted: at 1:14 am
Troy also uses other alternative therapies like ice baths (Picture: @certifiedhealthnut/News Dog Media)
At 55, Troy Casey has a six pack those decades younger would be jealous of.
But the former model doesnt credit a balanced diet or active lifestyle for his ripped physique, but his pee.
Troy, from Arizona, USA,has been drinking his own wee and applying it to his own skin for the last 17 years even doing week-long urine fasts and putting aged urine enemas in his rectum.
His former life was as a model for top fashion brands like Versace, but hes now working a Life Coach and Healer, promoting urine therapy to clients.
Troy says: Urine therapy is an ancient practice it just doesnt get talked about a lot. Your own pee is full of amino acids, stem cells and antibodies.
I drink my own urine every morning I call it hair of the dog! The feeling is electric.
He says applying aged urine is the fountain of youth, adding, aged urine enemas are one of the ways I got my stomach so flat.
Despite Troy almost being eligible for a bus pass, people rarely believe him when they hear hes 55, something he puts down to his unique habit.
To those who arent convinced, he says: People should be scared if theyre eating sh*tty food and doing pharmaceutical drugs. Why should they be scared to try their own urine?
Troy who penned a book on the health secrets behind his good looks called Ripped at 50: A Journey to Self Love says he wasnt always so healthy.
He explains: When I started modelling in my twenties, I was living the high life, partying in Milan, New York and London and not looking after myself. As a result, I would bloat and hold on to the extra water in my face and body.
Sometimes I would be so bloated that casting agents would tell me not to go to Vogue or Armani shoot today. It began affecting my life and so I began reading up on nutrition and practising stuff like herbal medicine, fasting and eating real foods to combat it.
Soon after, I started getting results when I looked in the mirror. I became hooked to learning about natural and ancient healing methods and truly understanding health.

Troysays he became interested in urine therapy also known as Shivambu in Ayurvedic medicine in 2004.
He first drank his own pee when he couldnt be bothered to stop for a toilet trip during a long car journey, but its now an important part of his routine.
I had read about the benefits of urine therapy in ancient Ayurverdic medicine and the information resonated it, says Troy.
The first time I tried my own urine, I was driving from San Francisco from Los Angeles. Its a long five hour drive. I didnt want to stop to take a leak so I peed in a cup and drank it and I was like hey thats not so bad!
Drinking my own urine, it wasnt as bad as the mental barrier in my own mind. The electricity were so immediate and subtle I felt a cool buzz. Intuitively, it just felt good. I drank my urine on and off for a while from there.
After a friend claimed to beat cancer with the help of urine therapy,Troybegan exploring other ways to ingest his own pee doing week-long urine fasts, putting aged urine enemas in his rectum and applying his own wee topically.
The says the benefits to his health, skin and physique were astonishing.
He recalls: My friend who beat testicular cancer with Shivambu challenged me to a seven-day urine fast where I just drank and looped my own urine for a week.
From there, I got into aged urine enemas where I would cultivate my own urine and ferment it in a sealed mason jar for two weeks before transferring into my rectum.
Aged urine enemas are so powerful for your health and I got my six pack abs after doing them. It flushed out my gut and thats when I got really ripped.
I also tried applying topical aged urine and what it did for my mood and muscle building was amazing. I put it on my skin especially when Im on the beach and its so electrifying and strengthening.
Its a big psychological leap for people to use their own urine as a moisturiser but its so euphoric and anti-aging. Uric acid is used in high-end skincare products.
This may be Troys experience, but its worth mentioning that theres no scientific evidence to suggest any benefits to urine therapy, particularly in relation to life-threatening conditions like cancer.
Urine is a waste product, containing mostly water, urea, and vitamins and minerals the body isnt able to store.
A hydrated person wont be harmed by drinking urine, but the Chinese Association of Urine Therapy has warned that drinking it excessively can have negative side effects including diarrhoea, fatigue, fever, and muscle soreness.
Troy who shares anti-vaccine content to his 121,000 Instagram followers says he could easily survive and thrive on urine if it came to it.
He explains: If the apocalypse ever happens and we dont have access to water anymore, Ive got my urine! I got my own water to drink! I survived on my own pee before and it works.
Im fifty-five years old and look at my vitality, my skin, my body, my health. People are impressed by my physique and energy at my age.
What so many pharmaceutical companies dont want to tell you is that we as humans are the secret to health. Thats what I try to teach people in everything I do.
As the Certified Health Nut, Troy sells eight-week transformation courses for $497 (375). Quite a lot of cash to drink your literal waste, and perhaps a contradiction when it comes to Troys holistic personal brand, but each to their own.
Always seek advice from a qualified medical practitioner before trying out alternative methods, too. A six pack really isnt worth making yourself sick.

Lineage Establishes Exclusive Worldwide Collaboration With Genentech for the Development and Commercialization of OpRegen RPE Cell Therapy for the…
Posted: at 1:14 am
CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lineage Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (NYSE American and TASE: LCTX), today announced that Lineage and its subsidiary, Cell Cure Neurosciences Ltd., have entered into an exclusive worldwide collaboration and license agreement with Roche and Genentech, a member of the Roche Group (SIX: RO, ROG; OTCQX: RHHBY), for the development and commercialization of a retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) cell therapy for the treatment of ocular disorders, including advanced dry age-related macular degeneration (dry AMD) with geographic atrophy (GA).
Genentech will assume responsibility for further clinical development and commercialization of Lineages OpRegen program, which currently is being evaluated in a Phase 1/2a open-label, dose escalation clinical safety and efficacy study in patients with advanced dry AMD with GA. Under the terms of the collaboration agreement, Lineage will complete activities related to the ongoing clinical study, for which enrollment is complete, and perform certain manufacturing activities. Genentech will pay Lineage a $50 million upfront payment and Lineage is eligible to receive up to $620 million in additional development, approval and sales milestone payments, in addition to tiered double- digit royalties.
Genentech is a clear global leader in ophthalmology and has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to patients, innovative research and successful product development, said Brian M. Culley, Lineages CEO. Their desire to combine our cell therapy technology with their ophthalmology expertise and capabilities will help advance the OpRegen program more rapidly and we believe successfully to patients with serious ocular disorders, such as dry age-related macular degeneration. Lineages objective is to pioneer a new branch of regenerative medicine, based on transplanting whole cells into the body to restore activity lost to aging, injury or disease. We believe the results we have demonstrated to date with OpRegen represent a paradigm change many did not believe possible with cell therapy, by restoring retinal tissue and potentially halting or reversing the expansion of geographic atrophy. I am incredibly proud of what the Lineage team has accomplished with the OpRegen program and look forward to joining forces with the Genentech team as they work to take this program to the next level and potentially to patients in need of treatment.
Mr. Culley continued, Looking ahead, Lineage will remain focused on advancing our spinal cord injury and oncology programs as well as announcing new disease settings where we plan to deploy our technology, either on our own or through strategic alliances. All of us at Lineage are immensely proud to have the opportunity and responsibility to advance a new and exciting branch of medicine, and our aim is to make a profound impact on the patients who serve as our inspiration.
Genentech has a longstanding commitment to discovering and developing novel drugs for the treatment of serious eye disorders such as with advanced dry AMD with GA, which is one of our focus areas within ophthalmology, said James Sabry, M.D., Ph.D., global head of Pharma Partnering, Roche. We are excited to partner with Lineage Cell Therapeutics to advance potential new therapies in an area of high unmet medical need.
Conference Call Information
Lineage will host a live conference call and webcast today beginning at 8 a.m. ET to discuss the collaboration with the Roche Group and Genentech. Interested parties may access the conference call by dialing (866) 888-8633 from the U.S. and Canada and (636) 812-6629 from elsewhere outside the U.S. and Canada and should request the Lineage Cell Therapeutics Call. A live webcast of the conference call will be available online in the Investors section of Lineages website. A replay of the webcast will be available on Lineages website for 30 days and a telephone replay will be available through December 27, 2021, by dialing (855) 859-2056 from the U.S. and Canada and (404) 537-3406 from elsewhere outside the U.S. and Canada and entering conference ID number 5174206.
About OpRegen
OpRegen has been developed in part through contributions and financial grants made by Hadasit Medical Research Services and Development Ltd. (Hadasit) and the Israeli Innovation Authority (the IIA). Lineage is obligated to pay a portion of upfront, milestone and royalty payments it receives to Hadasit and the IIA. OpRegen is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1/2a open-label, dose escalation safety and efficacy study of a single injection of human retinal pigment epithelium cells derived from an established pluripotent cell line and transplanted subretinally in patients with advanced dry AMD with GA. The study enrolled 24 patients into 4 cohorts. The first 3 cohorts enrolled only legally blind patients with a best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) of 20/200 or worse. The fourth cohort enrolled 12 better vision patients (BCVA from 20/65 to 20/250 with smaller mean areas of GA). Cohort 4 also included patients treated with a new thaw-and-inject formulation of OpRegen, which can be shipped directly to sites and used immediately upon thawing, removing the complications and logistics of having to use a dose preparation facility. The primary objective of the study was to evaluate the safety and tolerability of OpRegen as assessed by the incidence and frequency of treatment emergent adverse events. Secondary objectives are to evaluate the preliminary efficacy of OpRegen treatment by assessing the changes in ophthalmological parameters measured by various methods of primary clinical relevance. OpRegen has been well tolerated to date and there have been no new, unexpected ocular or systemic adverse events or serious adverse events related to OpRegen or study procedures that have not been previously reported.

Penny Mordaunt lands string of wins as UK and US progress towards post-Brexit trade deal – Daily Express
Posted: at 1:14 am
The Trade Minister has been meeting with officials in numerous US states in a bid to increase economic ties. The end goal appears to be the future signing of a free trade deal with the US, but the White House is currently hesitant about such a move.
During her cross-state visit, Ms Mordaunt has agreed to process memoranda of understanding with four states, according to City AM.
She was the first UK minister to visit Oklahoma, one of the states on this list.
The state is now also in discussion with Tees Valley following prompting from the Department for International Trade, the paper reports.
This follows the opening of a new freeport in Tees Valley late last month, hailed as a sign that the UK is maximising the opportunities of Brexit.
Similar agreements to process memoranda of understanding have also been achieved with Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina.
In a speech at Atlanta last week, Ms Mordaunt said Brexit should be viewed by the US as a massive opportunity to anyone who believes in democracy and the power of trade as a force for good in the world.
She compared the UKs split from the EU to the American war of independence.
The minister said: When America set itself free, it was a small economy.
READ MORE: Covid LIVE: Boris poised to slap Britons with 8pm curfew
This has been seen as a snub from President Joe Biden, who has meanwhile offered to suspend tariffs on some imports from Japan and, more significantly, the EU.
There are currently no plans within the White House for tariffs, imposed while Donald Trump was president, to be removed for the UK.
While a free trade agreement may currently but out of sight, Ms Mordaunt has focussed her efforts on achieving growth at a local level.
On Friday she wrote in the Yorkshire Post: I am keen to make progress that will help drive investment, jobs and growth at local level.
As the two biggest exporters of services in the world I want to deepen our relationship with US states, to make it easier for professionals, such as engineers or lawyers to work on the other side of the Atlantic.
Ill also be looking at increasing co-operation in areas from digital to agriculture.

Gates, Fauci, and Daszak charged with Genocide in Court Filing – thedesertreview.com
Posted: at 1:14 am
In a stunning 46-page legal filing to the International Criminal Court on December 6, an intrepid attorney and seven applicants accused Anthony Fauci, Peter Daszak, Melinda Gates, William Gates III, and twelve others of numerous violations of the Nuremberg Code. These included various crimes against humanity and war crimes as defined by the Rome Statutes, Articles 6, 7, 8, 15, 21, and 53.
Besides the four kingpins, twelve others were named, including the CEOs of the leading vaccine corporations and the health leaders held accountable for the United Kingdom.
Dr. Ravid Shah, having worked for the Gates Foundation since 2001, was named a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in 2007. He now presides over the Rockefeller Foundation, a group funding ID2020 along with the Gates Foundation.
Klaus Schwab, a wickedly intelligent, perhaps diabolical German with double doctorate degrees in Economics and Engineering, is the founder of the World Economic Forum, a club for the wealthiest percentile of the worlds corporate and political elite. He is a power broker who has groomed many presidents, prime ministers, and tech CEOs who now view him with reverence and unswerving loyalty.
Schwab, an economist, and technocrat has befriended many nations, most significantly Chinas Xi Jinping, who delivered a key speech at Davos. He praised his vision of a New World Order. On January 25, 2021, Klaus Schwab vowed his support for Xi Jinping with these words, Mr. President (Xi Jinping) I believe this is the best time to reset our policies and to work, jointly, for a peaceful and prosperous world. We all welcome now, his excellency, Xi Jinping, President of the Peoples Republic of China. See mark 2:26.
Many consider Schwab the mastermind behind the current movement towards cryptocurrency, universal identification, and a one-world (fascist) government to be run jointly, in totalitarian fashion, with China.

Attorney Hannah Rose and seven applicants brought the Nuremberg action on behalf of the victims, the entire population of the United Kingdom. She filed the legal proceeding with the International Criminal Court located at The Hague. The Hague is notable for its long history in helping victims seek redress for war crimes and defining appropriate ethical guidelines for conduct during war.
Following the Nazi atrocities committed during World War II, the war crime trials were held in Nuremberg, Germany. Following these, a set of principles was developed, which ultimately led to the development of the Nuremberg Code.
These principles essentially meant that anyone, no matter how wealthy or powerful, even a head of state, was not above the law. The fact that the law of their home nation would permit their action would not relieve the person from justice under international law.
In particular, the medical experiments conducted by the Nazi doctors led to strict rules and ethical principles regarding future human scientific trials, including the doctrine of necessary informed consent and freedom from coercion or threat in submitting to experimental drugs.
As we all know, before receiving a surgical procedure, there is a legal and ethical requirement that the patient be apprised of any significant potential risks, including infection, bleeding, nerve damage, or even death. The patient usually signs the consent form following this explanation. And as we all know, whenever we receive prescription medication, we are notified of the potential risks on a package insert and usually a discussion with the Pharmacist.
The vaccines should be no different, yet they are. A person about to receive the jab is rarely told that there are risks of blood clots, bleeding, cerebral thrombosis, myocarditis, and death, yet those risks exist. See mark 12:58 to 17:40.
https://www.totalhealth.co.uk/blog/are-people-getting-full-facts-covid-vaccine-risks
Attorney Hannah Rose notes in Point 40 of her brief that the ethical standards of the Nuremberg Code amount to an obligation on physicians and pharmaceutical manufacturers to abide by its principles. Accordingly, any physician or research scientist found to have breached any of the ten principles of the Nuremberg Code would face criminal liability.
She notes in Point 42, The first principle of the Nuremberg Code is a willingness and informed consent by the person to receive treatment and participate in an experiment. The person is supposed to activate freedom of choice without the intervention, either through force, deceit, fraud, threat, solicitation, or any other type of binding or coercion.
In Point 43 she argues, When the heads of the Ministry of Health as well as the Prime Minister presented the vaccine in the United Kingdom and began the vaccination of United Kingdom residents, the vaccinatedwere not advised, that in practice, they would be taking part in a medical experiment and that their consent is required under the Nuremberg Code. This as a matter of fact is a genetic medical experiment on human beings performed without informed consent under a severe and blatant offense of the Nuremberg Code.
In addition, Rose argues under Point 44 that there is an obligation for alternative treatments to be discussed, including the risks and benefits of such alternatives. She notes that these were never discussed despite the fact alternative treatments have been proven to be safe and effective with up to a 100% success rate.
https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/indias-ivermectin-blackout-secret-revealed
A key principle of the Nuremberg Code requires that a scientist must be prepared toterminate the experiment at any stage, if he has probable cause to believe, in the exercise of the good faith, superior skill, and careful judgment required of him that a continuation of the experiment is likely to result in injury, disability, or death to the experimental subject.
In Point 46, she argues, It is known that the mRNA vaccination treatments have caused the death of many as well as injury and severe damage (including disablement and paralysis) after the vaccine was administered. Despite this fact, the government did not instruct the initiation of an investigation into the matter. It is also questionable that given the experimental nature of these vaccinations, that there are not any full reports available of the numbers of dead or injured, as may be expected in such a medical process for the benefit of the public participating in the experiment.
The reader is reminded that Nazi physicians conducted experiments on human beings in concentration camps without informed consent, leading to horrific suffering and death.
https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/nazi-medical-experiments
https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/holocaust/experiside.html
To dramatically underscore the relevance of Nuremberg to the horrific deaths we now see related to the experimental mRNA vaccination program, Rose, in Point 34a, included a statement from a group of Holocaust survivors, those who experienced first-hand both the Nazi experiments and today the vaccine experiment. This is an excerpt from their unique perspective:
We, the survivors of the atrocities committed against humanity during the Second World War, feel bound to follow our conscienceAnother holocaust of greater magnitude is taking place before our eyes. We call upon you to stop this ungodly medical experiment on humankind immediately. It is a medical experiment to which the Nuremberg Code must be applied.
Holocaust survivor Vera Sharav issued a statement in Points 34b and 34c:
The stark lesson of the Holocaust is that whenever doctors join forces with government and deviate from their personal, professional, clinical commitment to do no harm to the individual, medicine can then be perverted from a healing, humanitarian profession to a murderous apparatusWhat sets the Holocaust apart from all other mass genocides is the pivotal role played by the medical establishment, the entire medical establishment. Every step of the murderous process was endorsed by the academic, professional medical establishment.
As a direct result of the Nuremberg World War II experience, the United Nations asked the International Law Commission to develop the Nuremberg Principles, the key standardsto avoid the Nazi doctors' atrocities. Unfortunately, as Hannah Rose pointed out, many of these ten principles of the Nuremberg Code were systematically violated by the United Kingdom and many other countries during the COVID-19 pandemic.
International Criminal Court
In addition, a permanent international criminal court was established for investigation and enforcement - known as The International Criminal Court. The ICC began full-time operations in 2002 and currently has 123 member nations that have explicitly agreed to be bound by the Rome Statutes.
The United Kingdom is a member while the United States is not. However, under article 12(3) of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, even a state that is NOT a member may exercise jurisdiction "by declaration lodged with the Registrar," meaning that any nation may be subject to the ICC depending upon the circumstances, member nation or not. Keep in mind that Nazi Germany had not consented to jurisdiction.
The ICC bills itself as a "court of last resort" meaning that claims should be decided in the perpetrator's home nation whenever possible. However, the core principle of impunity drives the ICC, the belief that no one who commits war crimes should enjoy freedom from criminal responsibility. Therefore, the ICC operates as an impartial and omnipotent arbiter of world human rights and will aggressively step in when it sees flagrant Nuremberg-type atrocities without consequence.
That is precisely what Hannah Rose has identified in her legal brief in Point 2,
"We have tried to raise this case through the English police and the English Court system without success, we have been unable even to get the case registered either with the police or with the court after several attempts...This is such a case which is why we are addressing the ICC directly."
Attorney Rose relied partly upon the expertise of Dr. Michael Yeadon, a research-based PhD in respiratory pharmacology and former Vice President and Chief Scientist at Pfizer.
In the background section of the brief, she writes in Point 5:
"The Covid-19 vaccines do not meet the requirement to be categorized as vaccines and are in fact gene therapy (Appendix 8)...Dr. Mike Yeadon, a joint applicant on this request, asserts that claims calling the Covid-19 injections a 'vaccine' is public manipulation and misrepresentation of clinical treatment.
It's not a vaccination. It's not prohibiting infection. It's not a prohibiting transmission device. It's a means by which your body is conscripted to make the toxin that then allegedly your body somehow gets used to dealing with it, but unlike a vaccine, which is to trigger the immune response, this is to trigger the creation of the toxin.'
MRNA uses the cell's machinery to synthesize proteins that are supposed to resemble the SPIKE protein of the virus, which is what it uses to enter cells via the ACE2 receptor. These proteins are then identified by the immune system, which builds antibodies against them. The real concern is that these proteins could accumulate in the body, especially in regions of high concentration of ACE2 receptors, such as the gonads. If the immune system then attacks the location where they accumulate, then you could be dealing with an auto-immune condition."
Dr. Yeadon mentions, in an interview, that our governments have grossly exaggerated the entire threat of COVID-19. He notes that COVID-19 represents a slightly greater risk than influenza if you are older than age 70 but a much lower risk than the seasonal flu if you are younger. See mark 31:00.
"So its just absurd that you should be happy or willing to let your economy and civil society be smashed for something which represents for almost everyone working a lower risk than influenza - but thats true.
Given this virus represents at worst a slightly bigger risk to the old and ill than does influenza, and a less risk than for almost everyone else whos younger and fit, it was NEVER NECESSARY for us to have done anything.
We didn't need to do anything, lockdowns, masks, mass testing, vaccines - there are multiple therapeutic drugs that are at least as effective as vaccines are...an off-patent drug called Ivermectin, one of the most widely used drugs in the world, is also able to reduce symptoms at any stage of the disease including lethality by about 90%.
https://covid19criticalcare.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/SUMMARY-OF-THE-EVIDENCE-BASE.pdf
So you don't need vaccines and you don't need any of the measures that have been introduced at all." See mark 31:15.
For any reader still under the illusion that these mRNA covid vaccines have helped, please read the following article comparing the countries without vaccination to those with it. The most vaccinated nations have deaths per million up to 100 x greater than the least. Always question what the government tells you.
Yeadon goes on to explain that people need not worry about variants. He explains that our immune system is easily able to deal with ALL mutations of SARS-CoV-2 and explains that 18 years after the first SARS, those people are still protected by their immunity - and this immunity even extends to immunity against SARS-CoV-2, a virus 80% similar but 20% different than the original SARS.
Yeadon's major point is that if survivors of SARS some 18 years later have immunity against the new virus, which is 20% different, why would we believe that a current viral mutant only 0.3% different would be a threat? See mark 35:40.
"So when your government scientists say that a variant thats 0.3% different from SARS could masquerade as a new virus and be a threat to your health, you should know, and I'm telling you, THEY ARE LYING. If they're lying and they are, why is the pharmaceutical industry making top-up vaccines? They are making them." See mark 35:55
"You should be terrified at this point. I am, because there is absolutely no possible justification for their manufacture. But they're being made, and the world's medicine regulators have said...we won't be asking them to do any clinical safety studies. Let me just say again, the variants are not different enough to represent a threat to you so you do not need top-up vaccines...
The regulators have waved them through. I'm very frightened of that - there's no possible benign interpretation of this. I believe they are going to be used to damage your health and possibly kill you. Seriously. I can see no sensible interpretation other than a serious attempt at mass depopulation.
This will provide the tools to do it and plausible deniability - because they will create another story about some sort of biological threat, you'll line up and get your top-up vaccines, and a few months or a year or so later, you'll die of some peculiar, inexplicable syndrome, and they won't be able to associate it with the top-up vaccines." See mark 36:05 to 37:15.
Yeadon follows this up with his conclusion, "This system (mandatory vaccine passports) is being put in place using lies, and it's being put in place for some purpose, and I believe that purpose is complete totalitarian control, and I think the purpose of that is going to be mass depopulation." See mark 45:40.
"Do not allow it to be an interoperable global fixed-format database because that will be the end of human freedom, and I see no way of recovering from that once the system's up and running." See mark 46:30
Yeadon explained that few people will hear his words and that this fraud was perpetrated on the world's population through censorship, fear and propaganda. Dr. Yeadon, an insightful man, notes that the perpetrators have exhaustively planned this all, and they have considered how people might respond. Yeadon notes that if we all respond as expected, we will lose.
"Collectively, we need to do something unexpected." See mark 48:43.
However, it is likely they didn't plan on the International Criminal Court coming after them. They also didn't plan on Dr. Reiner Fuellmich, an experienced trial lawyer licensed in Germany and California who founded the Berlin Corona Committee, which heads a group of attorneys with global reach dedicated to dragging this deadly conspiracy into the open and suing it into oblivion.
Fuellmich does an excellent job in this interview of exposing the actions of Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum, WEF, also known as Davos. The WEF has as its goal the establishment of a New World Order, with the globe to be run by self-selected technocrats like Bill Gates, himself, and other members of Davos.
In 1971 Schwab founded what was to become the WEF in 1987. It has 1,000 members. In general, qualification requires a business to have more than 5 billion dollars per year in revenue. The theme of WEF and Klaus Schwab has recently been "The Great Reset," which essentially means a new world order. In the following video, Klaus Schwab can be heard discussing this with Henry Kissinger. We hear Dr. Kissinger praising Chinas Xi Jinping's speech and the formation of a new international order. See mark 2:50 to 4:00.
Schwab himself sums up the 2017 Davos Meeting with the following statement, "What a wonderful opportunity to conclude our week here with such concrete proposals and ideas of how we can really create a New World Order." See mark 26:40.
Professor Andreas Oehler aptly describes the agenda of Schwab and the WEF, "The World Economic Forum seems to be the driver behind and organizer of the global population control operations, be it pandemics, biometric IDs, Great Reset, or public-private partnerships in name of the "common good" (fascist corporatism)." See the following article,"The Four Horseman of the Apocalypse identified, along with the Apocalypse itself."
https://live2fightanotherday.substack.com/
Professor Oehler of the University of Bamberg is widely published in credit, banking, finance, and investor protection. He believes that Klaus Schwab and his WEF members, including Bill Gates, planned the COVID-19 pandemic by sponsoring Event 201, a coronavirus pandemic simulation exercise held in New York City on October 18, 2019. WEF has been a proponent of digital biometric identity systems to make societies "more efficient and productive" (and easier to control).
https://www.centerforhealthsecurity.org/event201/
Oehler wrote, "WEF collaborates with the ID2020 alliance, funded by the Gates and Rockefeller foundations to run a program to 'provide digital ID with vaccines.' In particular, ID2020 sees the vaccination of children as 'an entry point for digital identity.' In reality, this means that anything a person does or is allowed to do (employment, travel, commerce, health care...) will be linked to the person's digital ID. This will remove any privacy and take total control over each and every activity of any individual on earth."

The Unconventional Story Behind Refuge Acupuncture – 303 Magazine

Tracey Abbott does not like to sit still. Shes an entrepreneur, empowerer of young women and a student of Eastern medicine, among other titles. When Abbott reconnected online with a childhood friend struggling with MS, she found acupuncturists and Eastern medicine practitioners who could help him leave his canes and wheelchairs behind. That childhood friend walked down the aisle to her unassisted at their 2016 wedding and is the inspiration for her Denver business, Refuge Acupuncture.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
So we met when we were nine in Alabama and connected about six and a half years ago on social media, said Abbott of her now-husband, Chris. He commented on a photo from Abbotts TEDx speech on her female empowerment group. Ive been in boardrooms for quite a while now, and one things for certain: if a woman is in a boardroom, theres a 94% chance that she was a high school or college athlete, she said on the topic of the TEDx talk. As a lover of athletics, shes passionate about issues under the umbrella of health, wellness and fitness. Im no longer doing that now, but it taught me a great deal and thats what Chris had commented on.
Abbott connected with Chris after declining health had put him in a wheelchair. I didnt know much about MS, but Im a marathon coach and someone who can get a lot of people to do things that they dont think they can, she said. So I got on a plane and went to Florida to see if I could help. And so long story short, we started working on nutrition, and we started acupuncture. We started Eastern medicine because Western had largely given up on Chris health, she added. Ive gotten the chance to do a lot of amazing and important things, and by far the most important thing weve ever done is to get him back on his feet. We wanted to start Refuge to give people hope that theres another way theres another way to live life than what we might think.
Tracey and Chris.
For those who arent familiar with acupuncture, Abbott explains her definition and how it complements Western medicine. Each human body has what it needs to heal itself inside, and so what acupuncture does is redirect energy flows so that it can go into smooth-flowing alignment, she said. The medicine looks at the full, total person rather than just looking at like, Okay, my arms broken, let me fix my arm, and its back to normal. She emphasized her respect for Eastern and Western approaches, depending on the issue at hand. We really do believe in the integrative nature of both of them. There are certain things, like if you have a broken arm, an acupuncturist cant fix that. But if you have a lot of other things, then acupuncture can dramatically help, she added.
Refuge offers acupuncture treatments along with other modalities like cupping, ear seeds, guasha and moxibustion all depending on what theyve determined the patient needs at no extra cost. Theyve also launched a line of custom herbal formulas. We sell both raw herbs for teas and granules for formulations, Abbott said. They custom-mix formulas for a patients unique needs and offer some pre-mixed standbys that are tried and true. While they use acupuncture to treat a plethora of ailments, Abbott focuses a lot on pain management and helping patients stop opioid usage. Our practitioners are especially skilled at treating pain.

Theyve divided the space into what they call heaven and earth, in keeping with the angel wing motif seen on their logo and throughout the clinic. Earth houses the treatment rooms, complete with table warmers and noise-canceling headphones, while heaven is where people go to wait for and schedule appointments, opt for an herb consultation or enjoy a cup of herbal tea.

Abbott saw the despair and tragedy befalling the world when COVID-19 hit, and simultaneously saw the need for a space like Refuge. It was like, we need more healing than ever, she said. But healers cant stay in business. Using Abbotts business experience, Refuge opened on April 5, 2021. I have an investment background and thought, you know, we could actually create a platform which helps patients but also helps keep acupuncturists in business and in the healing field that theyve worked so hard to be in, said Abbott. Were also all vaccinated, too, she added. Theyve also offered free treatments to frontline workers working in ICUs, emergency rooms, trauma bays and other high adrenaline settings throughout 2021.
When asked about the alternative health and wellness community in Denver, Abbott said, Theres always going to be enough healing to go around for everyone, so I really dont believe in competition.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
I think about the chiropractor down the street, she added. When he sends us patients, and I ask him what I could do for him, he just says Make them better. So I would say its a pretty giving community. Abbotts favorite part of the business by far is the people both those on her team and those who come in for treatments at Refuge. Watching patients come in in one state and walk out the door in a completely different state there is nothing better than that, she said. Its very, very humbling.
The word Refuge means sanctuary a space that provides shelter or protection. People who dont feel good need to feel safe. And these days, everyone needs to feel safe, Abbott said.
Find out more about Refuges offerings on their website, or follow along with them on Instagram.

Brexit: We recap the rules for five-year residency cards in France – The Connexion
Posted: at 1:14 am
There are limits as to how long people living in France with a five-year Brexit Withdrawal Agreement (WA) residency card should spend away from France.
Five-yearcartes de sjour to stay in France are issued to Britons with WA rights who are not able to show that they were living in France for at least five years before they applied for the card.
Britons able to show at least five years residency obtain a permanent residency card valid for 10 years.
The five-year cards give you the right to go on living in France and benefiting from the same rights while accruing a five-year period.
Diocese in Europe
Once you can show that you have been in France for five years since the date you gave in your original application for your installation in France, you have the right to apply for a permanent residency card, which will have a 10-year validity date (renewable after that with minimal formalities).
As the focus so far has been on everyone obtaining their first card, the Interior Ministry has not publicised detailed advice on swapping a five-year card for a 10-year one, however as the dedicated WA residency cards website has now closed this would be done by an application to your prefecture.
We have asked the ministry and one of the prefectures in an area known for its British population if more information is now available and will provide updates if received.
According to the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement in order to maintain your rights while accruing the five years the standard rule is as follows: You should not be absent from France for more than six months a year, however absences of up to a maximum of 12 consecutive months for important reasons including pregnancy and childbirth, serious illness, study or vocational training, or a posting abroad.
With regard to these rules the WA refers to an EU directive of 2004 concerning permanent residency rights of EU citizens, which sets these out at article 16. The European Commission interprets the reference to 'six months a year' as relating to 365-day periods starting from when the person moved to France (eg. if a person moved to France on March 6, the first 'year' would end on March 5 the following year).
Once you have the permanent card, rights to live in France are strongly protected and can only be lost through being away from French territory for more than five years.
Read more: How long can Brexit carte de sjour holder spend in the UK?
However this residency right does not include the right to live in another country of the EU.
Note that there are a few situations in which people can qualify for a permanent residency card after fewer than five years in France. According to the Withdrawal Agreement these are:
We note however that a French ministerial circular to prefectures about Britons residency cards, states that these categories above benefit from the right to a permanent residency card without needing to prove a specific length of stay in France.
