Semiconductors are one of the modern worlds essential industries, making possible so much of what we rely on or take for granted: internet access, high-speed computers with high-speed memory, even the thermostats that control our air conditioning there isnt much, tech-wise, that doesnt use semiconductor chips. With the end of 2020 in sight, its time for the annual ritual of evaluating the equities for the New Year. Wells Fargo analyst Aaron Rakers has cast his eye on the chip industry, tagging several companies as likely gainers next year. The analyst sees several factors combining to boost demand for chips in 2021, including cloud demand, new gaming consoles, and a market resolution to the future of the PC segment. Overall, however, Rakers expects that memory chips and 5G enabled chips will emerge as the drivers of the industry next year. The analyst expects that semiconductor companies, as a group, will see between 10% and 12% growth over the next 12 months.Thats an industry-wide average, however. According to Raker, some chip companies will show significantly higher growth, on the order of 30% to 40% in year ahead. We can look at those companies, along with the latest TipRanks data, to find out what makes these particular chip makers so compelling.Micron Technology (MU)Among the leading chip makers, Micron has staked out a position in the memory segment. The company has seen its market cap expand to $78 billion this year, as shares have appreciated 32% year-to-date. The surge comes on a product line heaving on computer data storage, DRAM, and flash storage.Look back at 2020, Micron has seen revenues increase each quarter, from $4.8 billion in Q1 to $5.4 billion in Q2 to $6.1 billion in Q3. Earnings came in at 87 cents per share, up from 71 cents in Q2 and 36 cents in Q1.The calendar third quarter was Microns 4QFY20, and the full fiscal year showed a decline due attributed to the COVID pandemic. Revenue came in at $21.44 billion, down 8.4% year-over-year, and operating cash flow fell to $8.31 billion from $13.19 billion in FY19. During this past quarter, Microns 1QFY21, the company announced the release of the worlds first 176-layer 3D NAND chip. The new chip promises higher density and faster performance in flash memory, and the architecture is described as a radical breakthrough. The layer count is 40% higher than competing chips.Looking ahead, Micron has updated its F1Q21 guidance, predicting total revenue of $5.7 billion to $5.75 billion. This is a 10% increase from the previous guidance.Wells Fargo's Aaron Rakers calls Micron his top semiconductor idea for 2021. He points out a deepening positive view on the memory, and in particular the DRAM industry. DRAM accounts for approximately two-thirds of Microns revenue and over 80% of the companys bottom-line profits. In addition, Rakers notes Microns technology execution 1Znm DRAM leadership; recently outlined 1nm ramp into 2021, as well as Microns move to 176-Layer 2nd -gen Replacement Gate 3D NAND to drive improved cost curve. We would also highlight Microns execution on graphics memory (e.g., GDDR6X), Multi-Chip Packages (MCPs), and High-Bandwidth Memory (e.g., HBME2) as positives. In line with these comments, Rakers rates Micron shares a Buy, along with a $100 price target. This figure suggests room for 41% growth in 2021. (To watch Rakers track record, click here)Micron has 24 recent reviews on record, breaking down to 19 Buys, 4 Holds, and 1 Sell, and giving the stock a Strong Buy from the analyst consensus. Shares are priced at $70.96, and recent appreciation has pushed them almost to the $74.30 average price target. But as Rakers outlook suggests, there may be more than just 4.5% upside available here. (See MU stock analysis on TipRanks)Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)With $6.5 billion in total sales last year, and a market cap of $110.7 billion, AMD is a giant company but it doesnt even crack the top five of the worlds largest chip makers. Still, AMD has a solid position in the industry, and its x86 processors provide stiff competition for market-leading Intel (INTC). AMD shares have shown solid growth this year, and are up 101% as 2020 comes to a close. The share growth rides on the back of steady revenue gains since the corona crisis peaked in Q1. AMDs Q3 top line came in at $2.8 billion, up 55% from the $1.8 billion recorded in the year-ago quarter and beating the forecast by 10%. Earnings, at 37 cents per share, were up 220% year-over-year. The company credited the growth to solid results in the PC, gaming, and data center product lines, and boasted that it was the fourth consecutive quarter with >25% yoy revenue growth.AMD announced last month a new product for the scientific research market, the Instinct MI100 accelerator. The new chip is billed as the worlds fasted HPC GPU, and the first such x86 server to exceed 10 teraflops performance.Covering AMD for Wells Fargo, Rakers wrote: We remain positive on AMDs competitive positioning for continued sustained gradual share gains in PCs We also believe AMDs deepening data center GPU strategy with new Instinct MI100 GPUs and the release of RoCM 4.0 software platform could become increasingly visible as we move through 2021. AMDs roadmap execution would remain an important focus 7nm+ Ryzen 4000-series, new RDNA Radeon Instinct data center GPUs (MI100 / MI120), and the 3 rd -gen 7nm+ EPYC Milan CPUsRakers stance supports his Buy rating, and his $120 price target implies a 30% one-year upside to the stock. The Moderate Buy analyst consensus view on AMD reflects some residual Wall Street caution. The stocks 20 recent reviews include 13 Buys, 6 Holds, and 1 Sell. AMD shares are selling for $91.64, and like Micron, their recent appreciation has closed the gap with the $94.71 average price target. (See AMD stock analysis on TipRanks)Western Digital Corporation (WDC)Closing out the Wells Fargo picks on this list is Western Digital, a designer and manufacturer of memory systems. The companys products include hard disk drives, solid state drives, data center platforms, embedded flash drives, and portable storage including memory cards and USB thumb drives. WDC has had a tough year in 2020, with shares down 19% year-to-date. Still, the stock has seen gains in November and December, on the heels of what was seen as a strong fiscal 1Q21 report. That earnings report showed $3.9 billion in revenue, which was down 3% year-over-year, but the EPS net loss, at 19 cents, was a tremendous yoy improvement from the 93-cent net loss in the year-ago quarter. The earnings improvement, which beat the forecast by 20%, was key for investors, and the stock is up 30% since the quarterly report. The company also generated a solid cash flow in the quarter, with cash from operations growing 111% sequentially.Wells Fargos Rakers acknowledges WDCs difficulties in 2020, but even so, he believes that this is a stock which is worth the risk.Western Digital has been our toughest constructive call of 2020 and while we believe calling a bottom in NAND Flash (mid/2H2021?) remains difficult and WDs execution in enterprise SSDs will remain choppy, our SOTP analysis leaves us to continue to believe that shares present a compelling risk / reward. We continue to believe that Western Digital can drive to a ~$7/sh.+ mid-cycle EPS story; however, we continue to think a key driver of this fundamental upside will not only be a recovery in the NAND Flash business, coupled with WDs ability to see improved execution in enterprise SSDs, but also a continued view that WDs HDD gross margin can return to a sustainable 30%+ level, Rakers opined. To this end, Rakers rates WDC a Buy along with a $65 price target. Should the target be met, investors could pocket gains of 29% over the next months Where does the rest of the Street side on this computer-storage maker? It appears mostly bullish, as TipRanks analytics demonstrate WDC as a Buy. Out of 11 analysts tracked in the last 3 months, 7 are bullish, while 4 remain sidelined. With a return potential of 9%, the stocks consensus target price stands at $54.44. Cyberpunk 2077 Bandwidth Explained: Why Cyberpunk Works Fine On Stadia – Screen Rant

Posted: at 12:39 am

Cyberpunk 2077 actually works pretty well on Stadia with the right bandwidth. Here's everything you need to know about optimizing the game for Stadia.

Although plagued with performance problems, Cyberpunk 2077 surprisingly runs pretty well on Google Stadia. For players disappointed in the way the open-world RPG runs on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, Stadia may be a great alternative. However, having the right internet connection and bandwidth is paramount to getting Cyberpunk 2077 to run smoothly on Stadia. Here's everything you should know.

The launch for Cyberpunk 2077 has been less-than-ideal for its players and the studio behind it, CD Projekt Red. After a number of controversies and performance issues on PS4 and Xbox One, a class-action lawsuit has now been filed against the company. And while the game has a lot of bugs and glitches, Cyberpunk 2077 runs fine on Stadia - as long as players have a secure internet connection with an adequate bandwidth.

Related: When Cyberpunk 2077's Bug Fixes & Patches Are Coming

Admittedly, the game runs best on a PC - especially one with a superior graphics card - but for those who don't want to invest in a high-end PC to play Cyberpunk 2077, Google Stadia is a totally viable option. Most of the performance issues stem from the PS4 and Xbox versions of the game, so playing on Stadia is an inexpensive but efficient way to experience Cyberpunk 2077 in a fairly smooth format.

According to a report from Speedcheck, Cyberpunk 2077 runs fine with an internet connection of 11 Mbps. This will run the game at 720p, though, so it won't be in Ultra HD with that kind of bandwidth. This isn't too surprising, since most Stadia games need a connection of 11 Mbps or higher to run without lagging. Still, it's reassuring that Cyberpunk 2077 works fine with that bandwidth too, since most Stadia users probably already have the minimum internet requirements for playing other Stadia games.

In order to run Cyberpunk 2077 in 4K, though, users will need at least an internet connection speed of 42 Mbps. Simply running the game and doing nothing uses up as much bandwidth as watching a movie on Netflix, so running the game in 4K will definitely pull more in environments with lots of assets, or in areas with a lot of movement. Still, playing on Stadia can be a great way to have fun in Cyberpunk 2077 without having to worry about the many problems with the game on PS4 and Xbox One.

Although Stadia hasn't been nearly as popular of a gaming platform as Google may have hoped, it might be the most inexpensive and efficient way to run Cyberpunk 2077 for now. With the right amount of bandwidth, players should have no problem experiencing the game - and the problems are much fewer than on home consoles. It can be a great alternative for anyone looking to play the game right now.

Cyberpunk 2077: The Best and Worse Cyberpsycho Fights – Screen Rant

Posted: at 12:39 am

Cyberpunk 2077 sets players off to collect bounties on deranged Cyberpsychos across Night City. Here are the best and the worst of these mini-bosses.

Cyberpunk 2077is full of unsavory characters ranging from shady megacorporation executives to power-hungry members of Night City's ten street gangs, but no other foes are more intimidating and lethal than the crazed Cyberpsychos that lurk in dark alleyways and abandoned shacks across town. Some are particularly fun and immersive, while others can be a chore to deal with.

These mini-boss fights are part of the Psycho Killer quest line given to V by Regina Jones early in the game that allows players to collect the bounty on 17 total Cyberpsychosby either killing them or knocking them out. Each of these NPCs suffers from Cyberpsychosis, whichis a hysteric state caused by too many cybernetic body augmentations. That means every Cyberpsycho inCyberpunk will have its own set of specialized skills and weapons that players need to figure out how to deal with if they want to turn them in for a reward.

Related: Cyberpunk 2077 PS4 and PS5 Graphics Compared

Players can choose to either kill or incapacitateaCyberpsycho when they come across them by finishing them off with a lethal weapon or knocking them out with a blunt weapon, like V's fists or a baseball bat.Whichever approach gamers choose won't change the reward for the mission, but it will result in a different dialogue between Regina and V.Like any boss encounter, a handful of Cyberpsychos feel challenging but rewarding to defeat, while others can becheap and annoying enemies to deal with. Here are the best and worst Cyberpyscho fights inCyberpunk 2077.

[Warning: The following contains SPOILERS forCyberpunk 2077's side quests.]

Cyberpsycho Sighting: House on a Hilltakes V to a seemingly abandoned house in The Badlands that has been turned into a fortified bunker by a crazed maniac. The compound is littered with mines and drones that scout the area, which V can choose to destroy, disable, or leverage to her advantage giving players multiple ways to take out the Cyberpsycho Russell Greene.

He wields a powerful Shotgun and can dash at V so gamers need to keep their distance, which can be made easier with the System Reset quickhack. After the fight is over,Cyberpunk 2077's environmental storytelling reveals that Russellmurdered his entire family after his onset of Cyberpsychosis, which is a disturbing end to a satisfying mini-boss fight.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Phantom of Night Citycan spawn some of the best loot in the entire Cyberpunk 2077questchain and the fight is exciting the whole way through. The mission begins in the City Center area of Corpo Plaza and will lead V into a room east of the quest marker, where they'll run intoNorio Akuhara who wields a Katana and Smart weapons.

Related: Cyberpunk 2077 Bandwidth Explained: Why Cyberpunk Works Fine One Stadia

After an initial scuffle, Norio will disappear and lead V into a separate room with a gang of other enemies to assist him. Constantly sliding behind cover andwhittling Norio and his entourage down with Assault Rifles and Sub-Machine guns is players' best bet. After the fight, Norio will drop a legendary Katana, and the first roomV entered from has a box that has a chance to spawnLegendary Mantis Blades.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Blood Ritual has all of the ingredients to be a fantastic mini-boss, but all ofthat is soiled due to how annoying it is to even find Zaria Hughes to beginthe mission. She only spawns in the Northside of Watson after 8 p.m. in-game time, but Regina doesn't give V any indication about that restriction, which can result inplayers who stumbled upon the mission wasting time investigating the area during the daytime. That's shame considering how creepy the area where she resides is, but any sense of immersion is broken if Cyberpunk 2077playersaren't aware of her spawn timer.

Once the fight begins, Zariaconstantly rushes at V with her Mantis Blades and lights them on fire every time she lands a blow. Thedouble jump perk, Cripple quickhack, Electrical weapons, andany kind of thermal resistancewill make this fight much easier but ifgamers begin the battlewithoutthese buffs they need to constantly run and gun Zaria down if they don't want to be sliced to pieces.

Finally,Cyberpsycho Sighting: DiscountDocis nearly impossible to complete without using cheap gimmicks to players' advantage. Chase Coley carries around a massive riot shield and is found in the Rancho Coronado area with a fewweaker enemies in the vicinity. Chase will continuously bull-rush V and also has an extremely powerful Shotgun capable of dealing lethal damage in two shots.

Players need to first take out all of the weaker thugs in the area before taking on the psycho, which is incredibly difficult with Chase running them down constantly with his shield. The simplest way to complete this mission is to climb up on a nearby roof to pick off Chase'slackeys and then use Cyberpunk'sSmart Sniper or Precision Rifle to hit Chase behind his shield. Fighting chase on the ground can be nearly impossible and having to resort to this cheap trick makes this fight much less rewarding than all of the others in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077

While CDPR will be spending the next few months at least fixing the trillions of bugs in Cyberpunk 2077 and making it run better, as well as working on a full next-gen update for the game, there are plenty of issues that do not fall under the criteria of bugs.

One thing many players will notice is that the further you get in the game, the more quickly it becomes justincredibly easy, for the most part.

At first, I thought I had discovered some magic secret blade build that allowed me to one shot pretty much all enemies and take down bosses in five seconds. But the more I read up on other builds, the more I realized that combat difficulty in Cyberpunk 2077 is just not at all balanced, even on its hardest difficulty, in favor of the player.

Yeah, this is fun to a certain extent, and it makes sense with the story that V becomes an unstoppable killing machine. But the reality is that you can spec into anything, guns, blades, hacking and become stupidly overpowered probably less than halfway through the game, and it only gets easier from there.

Yes, part of this is the games problem with stupid AI. Enemies are simply not that smart, making killing them easier than it would be in other games, and they do not get any smarter when you turn up the difficulty, they merely hit harder and absorb more damage.

But heres what Very Hard looks like in Cyberpunk with my blade build, and this is me holding back by not even using skills I have at my disposal like time stopping. I also fire shots to alert the guards at the beginning because most enemies wouldnt even see me before they were dead, otherwise.

And again, this is not specific to blades. Probably the most hilariously broken thing in the game is how absurd the hacking tree gets. Thanks to certain quickhacks and one that allows a contagion like spread of a hack, you can clear entire bases without even stepping foot inside. For guns, how about a tech sniper build that has X-ray vision and can shoot through any walls?

With perk points to spare Ive switched from blades out of boredom to a revolver build that again, one shots everything with 345-70K damage headshots. In short, put a lot of perk points in any combat direction and you will be unstoppable in no time. Like truly, absurdly unstoppable.

The only time Cyberpunk really poses a challenge is if you start the game on Very Hard as enemies will chew you up pretty quickly in early levels. But again, it doesnt even take until the endgame to get overpowered with most builds if you get X or Y piece of gear or Cyberware. My katana was more or less one-shotting people by level 20 out of 50, as I recall.

There seems to be some sort of problem not just with enemy AI, but with enemy scaling. Once you are on level with enemies, too much of what is in your arsenal can do just overkill damage to everything you see. This is definitely true in how much damage you deal out, and may even be true for how much damage you absorb, albeit to a lesser extent. You can run around in really any armor on Very Hard and between lifesteal and backup regen the damage mitigation really doesnt even come into play. Thats if enemies hit you at all before you are chopping or blowing their heads off in one hit.

Cyberpunk 2077

Yes, again, this can be fun, but I would say only to a certain extent, and you might imagine that if you got bored of breezing through the game on Normal, you would want a true challenge cranking it up to Very Hard. In almost all encounters, its still just not anything approaching a challenge, and I am hardly some sort of masterful FPS god with a perfected build. I normally avoid the highest difficulties in games like this, and yet here, it feels almost mandatory. And even then its not enough.

Cyberpunk has many problems, but this is a particularly bizarre one. I remember The Witcher 3 did something with enemy scaling eventually to help with a similar issue, so well see if that takes place here.

Cyberpunk 2077: Where to Find the Last Two Tarot Cards – GameRant

Posted: at 12:39 am

The Fool on the Hill side quest will leave players with two tarot cards left to find, both of which come at the end of Cyberpunk 2077's story.

A side quest in Cyberpunk 2077 called The Fool on the Hill will leave V with two tarot cards left to find on their journey in Night City, but it will likely be some time in-game before players will locate them. Both remaining tarot cards can be found towards the end ofCyberpunk 2077.This article contains some spoilers forCyberpunk 2077's endings.

At the end of The Fool on the Hill quest inCyberpunk 2077, Misty will inform V that they still have 2 tarot cards left to find: the Devil card and the Judgment card. Don't worry: this won't stop the Fool on the Hill quest from completing, and players will still receive the achievement for doing so. But the tarot cards are more than just a simple side quest that takes V on a scenic tour throughout Night City. Rather, the tarot cards, much like their real-life purpose, outline V's journey and what lies ahead. Depending on how V chooses to handle the final mission and which ending they receive, Misty will give them 2 different readings that symbolize their choices and outcomes.

RELATED:Cyberpunk 2077 Did Wrong By One Character

Several of the tarot cards serve as direct symbols to V's journey as well asCyberpunk 2077's various endings. For example, players will receive a trophy called The Star after completing the final mission with Panam and the Aldecaldos, which is considered the "best" ending among manyplayers that have made it this far. The same goes for the Devil, but Judgement operates a bit differently.

The Devil card is the only tarot card inCyberpunk that technically cannot be seen inthe tarot menu, this empty space in the tarot cards' database will never be filled. But to achieve The Devil ending inCyberpunk 2077and earn a trophy with the same name, players will need to go with Hanako's plan for the final mission at Arasaka Tower.

Keep in mind that this ending isn't considered a "good" one; Misty and Johnny Silverhand will both drop several hints that this is a bitter road to follow and, much as Misty foreshadows, the Devil card does not signify a happy ending for V. To see the card's art, pay close attention when V is having a nightmare at Arasaka headquarters. When they break open the Rubik's cube, the Devil card will greet V on the inside of it.

Though the Judgement card is not an ending per se, it still symbolizes a crossroads in V's journey and, as the last graffiti to appear in the game, can be found immediately before the player makes a decision that can drastically changeCyberpunk's ending.

After defeating Adam Smasher, no matter which ending is chosen (other than the suicide ending, which doesn't allow V to go to Arasaka Tower at all), head towards the waypoint to Mikoshi. But before getting to the hallway, look to the left. Judgment will be on a tall pillar, difficult to miss. Unlike the Devil, this card will fill its slot in the tarot menu.

Cyberpunk 2077is availableon PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, andwill launch in 2021 forPS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Cyberpunk 2077: The 10 Best Perks To Get In Crafting – TheGamer

Posted: at 12:39 am

The gaming communityhas probably heard enough for now in regards to all of Cyberpunk 2077's bugs, the apparent upcoming lawsuit for CD Projekt, or its less-than-stellar release. So, lets talk a bit more about the actual gameplay aspects, such as the Attribute/Perk system. V has five different Attributes they can specialize in, and each one has three separate Perk trees within.

RELATED:Cyberpunk 2077: 5 Things That Make No Sense About Night City (& 5 Fan Theories That Really Do)

The Crafting tree, a part of the Technical Ability Attribute, is one of the more complex systems in the game, and some of the skills players can invest in are like night & day in terms of utility. Plus, that Save file bug recently got fixed, which means abusing the Crafting system isn't a death sentence anymore! So, here's an inner look at the Crafting Perk Tree, and the ten best Perks in order to exploit it:

Now, let's look a deeper look at why these are the best ten skills out of theeighteen potential options.

Pretty self-explanatory, the Mechanic perk just gives additional components when disassembling. Components are useful for:

So, it goes without saying that players should grab this Perk immediately, as there's no downside to having it.

If it wasn't already clear, Vs going to be disassembling a ton of stuff throughout their adventures in Night City, and its nice that each item that gets broken down has a chance to give some free components of the same rarity. With Mechanic and Workshop, disassembling an item is exponentially more worthwhile than it was previously. This is also the first Perk with multiple levels to it, so maxing it with three Perk points raises that free component chance to a tantalizing 15%.

All three of these Perks are the same, they simply allow V to craft Rare, Epic, and Legendary items. They don't unlock crafting specs, all they do is grant the player the ability to craft any items they already have the blueprints for.

RELATED:The 10 Best Side Quests In Cyberpunk 2077

V doesn't just upgrade a gun until it ascends from Uncommon to Rare, rather, they have to rebuild the gun into the next rarity using the previous one as a base. This is why these perks are so useful, as they allow players to pick their favorite gun and keep it with them the entire game if they so choose.

Anyone who has played more than a couple of hours of Cyberpunk 2077 knows that V goes down quickly. Even with lots of Armor and/or Evasion, some enemies can take players out in less than a clip. Because of that, players are constantly sucking down those MaxDoc inhalers or injecting themselves with multiple Bounce Backs. So, grabbing a perk that raises the efficiency of these items just seems like common sense, especially since V collects way more common consumables than they do Rare, Epic, or Legendary.

Nothing's better than getting something for free, and that's exactly what Ex Nihilo does. With every item crafted after investing in this Perk, V has a 20% chance to craft it for free, which is a rather high percentage. This Perk doesn't seem all too useful at first, but once players start upgrading Components to higher rarity Components, or crafting multiple items to sell for Eddies, that's whenEx Nihilo really starts to shine. Though, it does get very tedious very quickly, considering there's still no option to craft multiple items at once, which is one of the biggest flaws of the Crafting system altogether.

Efficient Upgrades is almostexactly like Ex Nihilo, as it gives V a chance to upgrade their items for free (rather than crafting it for free). But, upgrading, customarily, happens more often than crafting in Cyberpunk, so the percentage is a bit less with Efficient Upgrades (10% compared to 20%). Still, upgrading starts to get really expensive the more it's done, so any chance to save resources is a chance players should be willing to take.

Again, this Perk is another easy grab for those using the crafting mechanics to their fullest. It reduces the cost of every single item in an upgrade by 20% (at max rank) and players can actually see how many it saved them by hovering over that specific component while on the Upgrading menu. There aren't many of these Perks that actually affect gameplay directly, but all of them absolutely help players utilize the crafting system to its fullest.

Exact same Perk as Let There Be Light but targeted towards crafting rather than upgrading. Think of Let There Be Light and Cost Optimization's similarities as counterparts to Ex Nihilo and Efficient Upgrades.

RELATED:Cyberpunk 2077: 10 Hilarious Memes Only True Fans Understand

And, like Ex Nihilo/Efficient Upgrades, because Cost Optimization is focused on crafting, thecomponent reduction is actually 30% at max rank rather than 20%. Obviously, it's a great Perk, even if they're all very similar in usage.

This perk opens so many doors for V, as it allows them to switch guns/gear rather often without worrying about wasting Epic or Legendary mods the gear happened to have on it. By default, once a mod is slapped onto a gun or piece of clothing, V cant take them off, theyre disassembled along with the item. But, with Waste Not Want Not, players can actually start breaking down gear just for their mods or build up a collection of absurdly powerful modifications like Bully or Countermass.

And finally, people might be surprised not to see Crazy Science on this list, which is the final Perkthat's unlocked by completing the Crafting Skill Progression. Well, if players didnt already have the ability to infinitely craft stuff and sell it for sizeable profits, Crazy Science might worth it. But, they can, so Cutting Edge is more useful in comparison since it buffs damage rather than the sale price. Plus, quite a few of the Legendary variants of weapons have multiple damage-modifiers, so this stat actually makes a bigger differencebecause it affects all modifiers rather than just the final amount.

There is a Light that Never Goes Out quest guide | Cyberpunk 2077 Walkthroughs – Daily Esports

Posted: at 12:39 am

In Cyberpunk 2077, there are several quests that stick out in players minds. One that immediately comes to mind when bringing up this subject is There is a Light that Never Goes Out. This is only one of the jobs associated with this questline, but its arguably the biggest of them all. Players are presented with philosophical thoughts and some tricky decision-making that affects later quests. Here, well be looking at this quest alone and how to complete it efficiently.

First and foremost, this quest requires the completion of the side quest Sinnerman. That job is given to you by Wakako Okada during Act 2, but it isnt difficult whatsoever. All you need to do is follow a car holding a prisoner that Bill Jablonsky wants to execute.

Image via CDPR

However, Jablonsky ends up getting shot and youre left standing next to murderer Joshua Stephenson, a cop named Vasquez, and a corpo named Rachel. Joshua will ask you to get in the police vehicle, and once you do, There is a Light that Never Goes Out will start.

The beginning steps of this quest are fairly straightforward. You can talk with Joshua about what youre doing, but he wont divulge any information until you reach a house. Once inside the house, youll meet Zuleika, the sister of the man Joshua Stephenson murdered.

Strangely enough, Zuleika and Joshua have become friends, with the former leading the latter to Gods path. While on this path, Joshua comes up with the idea to commit suicide on a cross and make a Braindance of it. You can choose how in-depth Joshua and Zuleika get with their religious talk. However, if you want to skip it all, keep selecting the dialogue unrelated to religion.

After a spat with Zuleikas mother, you and Joshua depart the house and head for the restaurant PieZ. Before heading into the restaurant, the corpo Rachel wants a word with you. Essentially, she believes Joshua can make her studio a ton of money with his suicidal Braindance.

However, you will keep getting into Joshuas head by asking questions about the whole situation. To make this stop, Rachel will offer you double what Joshua is going to pay you for coming with him. You can take the money, which will upset Johnny Silverhand, or continue on and see how the story ends. Its recommended to reject Rachels offer.

If you chose to reject the offer, head into PieZ. Once you sit down, youll be able to talk with Joshua about what hes going to do. Eventually, though, Rachel will intervene, at which point you pick the F*** off already dialogue option. This will end the quest.

At some point in the future, Rachel will call and tell you to come see Joshuas Braindance play out live. However, thats another quest walkthrough for another day.

New Cyberpunk 2077 Ray Tracing Optimization Mod Improves The Games Performance With RT Enabled; Works With Patch 1.06 – Wccftech

Posted: at 12:39 am

A new Cyberpunk 2077 Ray Tracing optimization mod has been released that allows users to benefit from improved performance while still using real-time Ray Tracing.

CD Projekt Reds latest title is easily one of the best-looking games to date, especially with Ray Tracing enabled. The rendering technique, however, is quite demanding and requires a fairly powerful setup. Those whore looking to somewhat boost their in-game performance when using Ray Tracing might want to give this optimized setting a try. Good to know is that this modification also works with the recently released 1.06 patch.

Cyberpunk 2077 HDR ReShade Improves Depth, Color and Visual Effects on PC

Created by modder Romelsalwi, the Optimized Raytracing Setting mod for the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 intends to make the game playable with Ray Tracing settings. Basically, it changes around some of the default Ray Tracing values that the game uses, allowing for performance boosts on some setups.

Please note that the optimized settings dont always result in a noticeable performance gain. Then again, I cant hurt to at least try it out.

Installation is easy and only requires users to copy the downloaded files in the Cyberpunk 2077engineconfigplatformpc folder.

Those interested should give this new Ray Tracing optimization mod a try through Nexusmods.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now globally for PC, consoles, and Stadia.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your characters cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.

Cyberpunk 2077: Destroy Everything With This Hilarious Heavy Machinegun Trick – Gameranx

Posted: at 12:39 am

This isnt quite a bug, and it isnt quite an exploit, but I seriously doubt this weird trick was intending in Cyberpunk 2077.

At a certain Body attribute level, you can rip turrets right out of the sockets and walk around with the heavy cannon. This cannon is extremely powerful one of the most powerful weapons in the game, and using it is insanely fun. But like most games, huge super heavy weapons cant be reloaded. Until players found this absurd trick.

Now you can use it wherever you want. And this really isnt a cheat. You arent going to corrupt your save files with this.

The trick is very simple. You just need Body 7/8/9 attribute to pull an HMG from a turret and a vehicle. After pulling the HMG, you can interact with an vehicle stash use the trunk to place items. You can store the HMG in the vehicle inventory.

After placing the HMG in the vehicle stash, you can drive around with it and use it anywhere. Removing it refills the ammo completely so you can keep a fresh stock of 300 bullets in the magazine, essentially making this into a semi-permanent weapon. Its heavy so you cant hold it in your inventory, but you can stash it.

Was this intended? Probably not. And the ammo refills whenever you recollect it, which is probably a quirk of the weapon where it has full ammo whenever you pick it up. This probably works just because the designers never predicted a player taking the HMG to their apartment stash and overlooked that youve got a stash riding around with you all the time.

None of that really matters anyway. What matters is that youve got infinite ammo for a super machinegun that blows people up with each shot. Thats as Cyberpunk as it gets.

CDPR Will Take Vigorous Action to Defend Itself Against Claims Made in Cyberpunk 2077 Lawsuit – PlayStation LifeStyle

Posted: at 12:39 am

CD Projekt RED has acknowledged receipt of at least one lawsuit that was filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California over Cyberpunk 2077s controversial launch.

In a note to investors, the developer said that it will take vigorous action to defend itself against claims that it deliberately misled the public regarding the games last-gen versions. The note, dated December 25th, reads:

The Management Board of CD PROJEKT S.A. with a registered office in Warsaw (hereinafter referred to as the Company) hereby announces that earlier today it received confirmation from a law firm cooperating with the Company that a civil class action lawsuit had been filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California by a law firm acting on behalf of a group of holders of securities traded in the USA under the ticker symbols OTGLY and OTGLF and based on Company shares. The plaintiffs call for the court to adjudicate whether the actions undertaken by the Company and members of its Management Board in connection with the release of Cyberpunk 2077 constituted a violation of federal laws, i.a. by misleading investors and, consequently, causing them to incur damages.

The complaint does not specify the quantity of damages sought.

The Company will undertake vigorous action to defend itself against any such claims.

CD Projekt RED has another lawsuit to fight in New York, whereRosen Law has filed a class action suit accusing the studio of making misleading statements and hurting investors.
