FACEBOOK chief Mark Zuckerberg must end the firms encryption plans to aid cops tracking criminals, campaigners say.<\/p>\n
Their demand comes after an online pervert admitted 96 offences against 51 children.<\/p>\n

Cops fear he could have gone undetected had the toughened messaging been in place.<\/p>\n
Labourer David Wilson, 36, of Ipswich, posed as teenage girls to get boys to send him photos and video of themselves.<\/p>\n
He used Facebook Messenger which is set to be tightened so only a sender and recipient can read or modify a message. <\/p>\n

Andy Burrows, the NSPCCs head of child safety online policy, said: The choice is clear for Mark Zuckerberg.<\/p>\n

Cops fear terrorists will also evade capture. Rob Jones, National Crime Agency director of threat leadership, said: We get tens of thousands of reports every year about paedophiles from Facebook.<\/p>\n
He warned encryption will be turning out the lights for policing.<\/p>\n
A Facebook spokesman said: Child exploitation and grooming have no place on our platforms.<\/p>\n
