This promotional video is of Common Sense Entertainment #39;s journalism panel, networking and career-building event--THE AGE OF UNCERTAINTY: IMPROVING YOUR JOURNALISM CAREER PROSPECTS IN THIS ECONOMY--that we created and hosted at Knight Hall, the home of the University of Maryland #39;s Philip Merrill College of Journalism, on October 16, 2012. This alumni panel--which was held less than a week prior to the journalism school #39;s annual Career Fair--was led by Common Sense Entertainment Vice President Eugene Obah, and comprised of Brian Kapur (Sports Editor, Northwest Current and Reporter, DCSportsFan.com), Caleb Calhoun (Reporter, Herald-Mail), Laura Betz (Writer, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center) and Esther French (Local Editor, Wheaton Patch), who provided students at Maryland and across the DC region advice and critical insight into the realities of entering the journalism industry after college.
