A Polysomnographic technologist is a multi-skilled professional who works under the general supervision of a physician or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. The polysomnographic technologist records and analyzes the related data, reporting their technical findings to the physician to aid in rendering a medical decision. The learning concentration of the program is geared toward the specialties of sleep, medicine, respiratory, neurology and behavioral sciences.
