Interview with Prof. Paul Alivisatos at TIFR
Prof. Paul Alivisatos, was invited to TIFR to deliver the 2012 Homi Bhabha Public Lecture in recognition of his exceptional contributions in leading research and innovation and defining global research directions in the areas of nanoscience and technology, sustainable energy and materials science. Prof. Alivisatos, the director of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and Professor of Nanotechnology, Materials Science and Chemistry at the University of California-Berkeley, is widely recognized as "one of the fathers of nanoscience" and is an internationally recognized authority on the fabrication of nanocrystals and their use in solar energy applications.
